Cris Ascunce a Miami native whose journey from advertising to novel writing was as curvy as her Cuban roots. After years of crafting clever slogans to lure visitors to the vibrant city of Miami, she realized that her true calling was not in catchy taglines but in penning stories about her beloved hometown.
Armed with a degree in Advertising from Florida International University, Cris embarked on a successful career in the travel industry. But as time passed, she couldn't shake the feeling that she had more to offer the world than enticing vacationers to visit Miami.
In this episode we will learn more about her journey as an author, how and why she wrote her debut novel, "My Best Plan."
