In today’s discussion, the guys talk about something Ingo has personal and professional experience in: Parental alienation’s impact on families. Parental alienation is when an alienating parent misinforms and manipulates children with the intention of alienating emotionally vulnerable children away from the targeted parent. A largely overlooked topic amongst therapists, parental alienation can be highly damaging and even worsened when not addressed by therapists. John and Ingo share their views on the subject, research they have found, and clinical implications when working with families.
