This week the ESA announced that Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft are introducing policies to require loot boxes to disclose their odds starting sometime in 2020. Rocket League also announced that they would be removing loot crates by the end of this year with more details to come. Apex Legends is getting a limited-time event that offers solo play. Gamescom is coming up and we know some of the publishers making announcements of some sort. Call of Duty Modern Warfare is going to have dedicated servers! Microsoft purchased the publishing rights for Psychonauts 2 and Wasteland 3 from Fig investors. Anthem finally received its end game activity called Cataclysm with the release of version 1.3. Red Dead Redemption 2 has sold 25 million copies. Gears 5 is getting a custom Xbox One X, controller, headset, keyboard, and external hard drive. Gears of War 4 is free on Games with Gold if you want to take advantage of the “Road to Gears 5” challenges before Gears 5 launches.
