Okay PAUSE for a minute, have you ever given directions only for your students to have a million questions almost immediately after they begin working? ME TOO! (Exit Directions will completely clear this up!)

If there were a way you could easily wrap up class each and every day that's something you would be interested in, isn't it?

Wrap Up Actions have changed the end-of-class game for me. Gone are the days of ending class by saying, "well, that's it" or "please stay in your seat until the bell rings".

Check it out...

Here's what you do.

1) Print off the Google Doc and cut each box out. Print on colored paper so it's quick and easy for the students to locate.

2) Tape the Wrap Up Actions mini sheet to each desk, table, or lab station.

3) Use it EVERY DAY. Consistency is key with this.

Now you have it ready to use!

So when you get near the end of class tomorrow, direct students to the Wrap Up Actions sheet and tell them what number/task to complete.

Give them a specific amount of time to complete the task (you might make this time longer or shorter depending on how close you are to the end of the class).

Then, wrap up with having 1-40 students share out.

I love these wrap up actions for so many reasons; you can use them in ANY class, you can stretch or shorten how long it takes to complete them by giving them more or less time to complete the wrap up action and you can call on one, two, 25 or ALL of your students to share their answers.

Have fun wrapping up those classes friends!

Which would you choose?

Progress🏃🏽‍♀️the process of advancement and the way things move in the positive direction of improvement.

OR

Perfection✨the process of improving something until it is faultless or as faultless as possible.

If I were given the choice I would choose PROGRESS🏃🏽‍♀️

Why❓

The idea is that you are taking consistent action. You know that there are going to be bumps in the road, but you aren't waiting for that road to be clear to do the thing it is you want to accomplish. 🚙

When you choose progress over perfection you are choosing a growth mindset for both you and your students 🧠

Your students and you get to learn, play, grow, experiment, reflect and then get BETTER 🏆

And that's what you want, right?

Tune into episode 84 of the Green & Growing Podcast to hear more thoughts about progress over perfection!
