[Pride and Humility Series] Truth is a Person. Our faith is not mental assent to a set of propositions, it is relationship with God. Jesus’ own disciples did not have perfect theology by any means, but they were humble enough to receive Him when He came. This shows that Jesus did not base His relationship off of whether people were right or wrong, rather, but rather, whether they were humble of heart. The problem with seeking to be "right" is that it results in self-righteousness, and scripture says that “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble” (1 Peter 5:5, James 4:6). Humility is a posture of heart and it is a crucial virtue if we are to have a living relationship with Christ. Check out this audio message if you would like to learn more about the absolute importance of humility, what it looks like according to Scripture, and how crucial it is in our walk with God.

[Kingdom of God Series] Everything about Jesus’ teaching and ministry has to do with the Kingdom of God. He speaks about it in every kind of saying (parables, admonitions, apocalyptic, beatitudes), and whenever the gospel writers summarize the ministry of Jesus they do so in terms of the Kingdom of God (Mark 1:14-15; Matthew 4:23; Luke 4:43). Yet the Kingdom of God is one of the most misunderstood concepts in the teachings of Jesus. If we are to “seek first His Kingdom” (Matthew 6:33) then it is essential that we understand what His Kingdom is. Check out this week's audio message if you would like to learn more about the Kingdom of God.

[Eternity Series] “The Fear of The Lord” is something that is rarely talked about these days, which is often rooted in people’s difficulty reconciling the love of God with the Fear of God. As a result, people tend to rationalize the Fear of The Lord away in an attempt to resolve this seeming paradox. This is partly due to the misconception that the Fear of The Lord means to be scared of God, when in reality, people who fear The Lord are scared to be AWAY from God. In fact, the Fear of The Lord is a key to greater intimacy with God which is one reason why Jesus even delighted in the fear of The Lord (Isaiah 11:1-3)! Check out this week's message if you would like to learn more about the Fear of The Lord and why there is a lot of glory on it.
[Eternity Series] One of the greatest hindrances to people coming to know the will of God is the fact that when they read the Scriptures, they read what they believe rather than believe what they read. Many people (including myself) grew up believing that “once saved, always saved,” even though the teachings from Jesus Himself and almost every New Testament writer completely contradicts that doctrine. Although controversial to some theological schools of thought, a thorough investigation of scripture eliminates such controversy. If you would like to learn more about this topic, and what the Bible has to say about it, you can download the message at the following link
[Eternity Series] It’s quite fashionable these days for some Christians to deny the existence of hell and the notion of eternal punishment. The teachings of Jesus have never been very popular with the religious folk, but Jesus was never concerned with being acceptable to the religious. Check out this week's audio message if you’d like to learn more about one of the most controversial and “unhip” topics in Christianity.
[Eternity Series] There is a Judgment Day that has been appointed since the foundation of the world (Acts 17:31). The decisions made that Day will determine how we spend the rest of eternity. Scripture calls those decisions eternal judgments (Hebrews 6:2), which means that there will never be any changes, exceptions, alterations, or revisions to those decisions once they are made. Therefore, it would benefit us tremendously to know and live by what God says so that we can stand before Him with confidence on that Day. Check out this week's message to learn more about the one Key that will give us confidence on that Day.
Does God want you to succeed in life? Absolutely. Part of the difficulty we have, however, is that we tend to define success according to the temporal rather than the eternal. Because of our tendency to define success according to the standards of the world, we often have misguided ambitions and pursuits. Our focus should be to make our life count not only for today, but forever. Check out this week’s message to learn more about how God defines success and how adopting an eternal perspective is key to living a successful life in His eyes.
Seeking to be right only leads to self-righteousness. Seeking to be humble results in a knowledge of the truth. Jesus reveals truth to the humble of heart, and therefore, the only way to be “right” is through humility. For example, Jesus used parables and hid truth in them so that people with prideful (hard) hearts couldn’t receive the truth. Why? Because they would reject the truth and be held even more accountable for it and receive a more severe judgment (Luke 12:47-48). It’s like what Rick Joyner says, that “God judges [people, nations etc.] not according to the amount of evil embraced, but according to the amount of light rejected.” So it’s God’s mercy to use parables so that the prideful would not receive as severe of a judgment for rejecting the truth contained in them. This is why Jesus hid truth in mysteries so that only the humble of heart were able to hear and understand the truth. Check out this week’s message if you would like to learn more about how Humility is a prerequisite for understanding truth.

Many people have interpreted Paul's "thorn in my flesh" in 2 Corinthians 12:7 to mean that God allows sickness and disease to keep people humble. In this week's podcast, David addresses this scripture to show that Paul was not referring to a sickness or disease, but that Paul meant something quite different in context. Check out this audio message if you are interested in learning more about what Paul meant when he said “I was given a thorn in my flesh”
From His conception to His resurrection, everything about Jesus Christ’s life and ministry was a result of the Spirit’s work: He was conceived by the Spirit (Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:35); He was led by the Spirit (Matthew 4:1; Luke 4:1); He was empowered to do ministry by the Spirit (Luke 4:14-20); He spoke the Word of God by the Spirit (John 3:34; John 6:63); He was raised from the dead by the Spirit (Romans 8:11). Not only did Jesus delegate His authority to us, He also gave us the same power that He operated in through the Holy Spirit so that we could carry on His work until he returns. Check out this week's podcast if you would like to hear more on life in the Spirit.

Do you fast? Is fasting even biblical? Join Trish as she journeys through the bible, proving that fasting is not just biblical, it’s powerful!
In the Gospels, Jesus’ pattern was to preach that “the Kingdom of God has come near” and then demonstrate the reality of the Kingdom by ministering healing. In fact, there are over 80 passages in the Bible where Jesus and the disciples healed people. The ministry of healing is such an important aspect of the gospel of the Kingdom that Jesus mandated that all of His disciples follow His example by healing the sick (Matthew 10:8). As New Covenant believers, we need to know and understand our authority in Christ to heal the sick so that we can fully proclaim the gospel of Christ (Romans 15:19). Check out this week's message if you would like to learn more about the Scriptural basis of divine healing.
Do you want to deepen your prayer life? The do nothing! Do you want to have greater intimacy with God? Then do nothing! Do you want to feel God’s presence more in your life? Then do nothing! In this message, Trisha explains how the most powerful posture you can have in prayer is that of receiving from God. If you’re feeling tired and weary, you may just need to rest at his feet for a while. Check out this message and be encouraged to do nothing! :-)
In this week’s message, David teaches about the Scriptural examples and illustrations from the ministry of Jesus that show how He used offence as a strategy to reveal people’s hearts. Check out this week’s message if you are interested in learning about why Jesus uses this strategy offense and how we can learn from it in order to stay on the path of life.
“And blessed is the one who is not offended by me.” ~ Jesus (Matthew 11:6)
Have you ever noticed recurring patterns in your life that you can’t seem to stop? At some point in our lives, we’ve all made wrong or ungodly judgments of others as a result of their negative words, actions, or behaviors. Bitter roots can come from our negative or sinful reactions to hurts, or the many negative situations we experienced growing up, whereby we allowed bitterness, resentment, negative attitudes, etc. to take root in our heart. Bitter Root Expectancies are a habitual way of viewing how things will go for us. They act like a self-fulfilling prophesy in which we unconsciously “push” people to act how we expect them. Check out this message if you would like to learn more about how to break negative recurring patterns in your life that result from bitter root judgments and expectancies.
The heart is one of the most critical aspects of life in the New Covenant, which is why Jesus put the heart at the forefront in many of His teachings. Scriptures from both the Old and New Testament place the heart as the defining aspect that distinguished Old from New covenant living. Yet, the heart is an often neglected topic today. If we are to love God with all of our hearts and live life as New Covenant believers, we must understand the heart and place as much importance on it as other topics emphasized in Scripture. Check out this week's message if you would like to hear more about the heart, its role in the New Covenant, and about ministry to the heart.
Jesus defines righteousness differently in the New Covenant: Everything we have received is a gift from God, and we must freely give unto others that which we have received. God accepts, forgives, secures, and loves us unconditionally, which means that we no longer have to “earn” these things by doing law. Because righteousness in the New Covenant is predicated on God’s prior acceptance, we are freed up to have a new stance towards others. We are free to love that person who wronged us the way God does; with unconditional forgiveness, kindness, and mercy. Check out this week’s message if you would like to hear more about the importance of forgiveness.
In Jesus' teaching about prayer in Luke 11, He gives us some very important keys on how to pray and how to get answered prayer. In this week's message, David discusses Jesus’ teaching on prayer and the importance of raising our expectations and believing God for the impossible. There are absolutely no limits with God, as Jesus tells us in Mark 9:23 “Everything is possible for him who believes.” Check out this video if you would like hear about the importance of believing God for the impossible, scriptural promises that will absolutely transform your life, and how to get breakthrough in your prayer life according to Jesus.
