Each episode features a “Coffee Talk Topic” relevant to the everyday challenges and victories experienced by Christians walking out their faith in today’s world, and, fosters Revelation 12:11 among women.

Lisa describes herself as a small town girl from Racine Wisconsin with a deep passion for helping others change their lives. She's an entrepreneur at heart who owns and operates three businesses and has raised six children.
Brandee says "one of my favorite things about Lisa is the way she described herself when I read her background for our interview. She wrote "my professional experiences aren't necessarily made with a college education, or degrees or even titles. I haven't written any books. I don't have any major accomplishments as I have read about the guests on your show. But I have no doubt that my life is always in the making of a great story."
Lisa shares about God restoring her life after enduring decades of spousal abuse.

Barbara Marlowe is an author and marketing and public relations professional. She served on several boards for nonprofits and is a current member of the University Hospital's, Rainbow Babies and Children's Leadership Council.
Barbara is also president of the Iraqi Children's Foundation who joins Christian Coffee Talk to share a profoundly inspirational story about her journey with Teeba Furat Marlowe, who was burned and disfigured by a roadside bombing in Iraq when she was just 19 months old.
Brandee Nielsen says "Barbara's story exemplifies the epitome of responding to the Holy Spirit. Teeba's is a story that most of us couldn't possibly imagine in our lifetimes. But its a story of faith overcoming improbability, which is something that we all need to hear."

As a member of Christian Coffee Talk for Women, Keri had a burning desire to share her story about how after losing her baby, God helped her discover that she was under heavy spiritual attack. Keri now ministers to Christian women through Everyday Incredible. Essentially, teaching them how to become guilt slayers!

We've been enjoying a much-needed year-end break from publishing new podcasts, while working behind the scenes; conducting powerful interviews, as well as a new opportunity that will expand our reach among the 3 million listeners of Cornerstone Christian Radio based out of the UK, broadcasting in the United States, Africa, Indonesia and many more countries.

Long affiliated with the Florida Juvenile Justice System, Tina's famous and favorite quote is There Is Hope, which she impresses upon the troubled youth to realize their true worth and potential. Tina says
"yes I'm an author, keynote speaker, yadda-yadda, but first and foremost I'm a faithful follower of Jesus. I'm a big fan of Jesus. I'm a Jesus freak! I jump on any opportunity to spread hope and instill hope in other people.
Working in the Juvenile Justice system, I've had a lot of exposure to people struggling with hurts habits and hang-ups. It's hard to say there's hope to a young girl who may be a victim of human trafficking who's in jail, but there is. There is hope. One of the things I remember her saying to me is "Miss Tina when you come in here I know there's hope because I see you and I see you smiling. I always tell everyone There is Hope."
Tina founded her Tina Talks Truth platform to encourage women and men who struggle with addiction and other life challenges, based on her healing journey from addiction. She says
"the biggest contributor to addiction is a void inside of people that struggle with addictions. It may be low self-esteem or a broken down family component. There's no spiritual backbone or guardrail in that person's life. Something is missing.
That's what it was for me. Something was always missing. So First I had to establish that there is a God. Then I had to establish that He loves me. He loves me no matter what. There are no conditions to how much God loves you."

Scott and Bethany Palmer are Financial Advisors, collectively known as “The Money Couple.” They're one of God's Married Couples in Ministry, with a specific assignment to help others strengthen their relationships through a scientific, behavioral finance approach. Together they've identified that we have at least 2 of 5 money personalities, published in a book called: The 5 Money Personalities.
Bethany says "understanding how God made you when it comes to viewing money, is the foundation to who you are and how God Made You."
Scott says "if you statistically look at marriages in America we've got a 50% divorce rate. 70% of those cited money as the number one reason for their divorce. If it were just about the budget or credit card debt, those are quick fixes. 80% of couples have opposite money personalities. So what we have to do as couples, is to learn how our differences strengthen each other."

Martha says "our faith is not to be compromised. Our faith infiltrates our whole life if we have given our life to Christ.
How our ministry helps people is by inspiring them to look at their work-place differently.
We're helping them to look at their life. To look at what they do every day and the way God has equipped them to do what they do. To look at why they're doing it, and what purpose they're giving it."

Dysfunctional coping skills involve how we react to life’s difficult challenges. We all have them, though they are more severe in some than in others.
Host Brandee Nielsen says "Dysfunctional coping skills cause us to react in ways that are disproportionate with reality. These reactions can rob our joy, as well as the joy in those who are closest to us. I maintain that when believers react by bearing the fruit of the spirit during difficult situations, we come away honorable, and retain our joy in the presence of the God of peace."

Cole Ian is the founder of DID Discovering Hope. A nonprofit ministry whose purpose is to share the gospel, and offer hope and help to those who struggle with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and, Dissociative Identity Disorder.
Cole shares a powerful testimony about overcoming the dysfunctional coping skills resulting from suffering DID as a survivor of severe childhood sex-abuse.
Coles says "God created our brains amazingly so that we can dissociate. But when we've been through horrific trauma, we might have different levels of dissociation. It becomes a dysfunctional coping skill. I think if I didn't have God in the process of my journey, I don't think I would be here."

Sam submits "we've been trained that we don't know anything that we haven't been specifically taught by somebody standing at a blackboard, or the equivalent thereof. And so we all think that if we don't have a degree in a particular subject, that we're just not capable, which is a fallacy.
Some of our most successful people have been college drop outs. You don't have to know stuff to teach your child. You just have to have the curiosity to go and learn it.
The homeschooled youth of today, is one who values education and who knows how to self-discipline. All of these great attributes that we would hope children graduating from institutions would have."

The core of each book is a 20-item-questionnaire that dives into blocks to intimacy. We don't know what our blocks are. If we knew, they wouldn't be blocks anymore. So it's a deep work to identify what's going on, but once you do, you’re able to do something with it.”

Today’s coffee talk topic encourages us to stop comparing ourselves to others! Host Brandee Nielsen says “pop-culture continually reminds us that we are not good enough if we don’t look like this or don't have that, etc. Comparison is one of the enemy's most suitable platforms for wielding his campaign against us.
Comparing ourselves to others can impact our emotional health and sense of self-confidence in alarming ways. And there is a spiritual impact associated because it will contradict the truth in what God says about us. If we truly understand and believe that we are who God says we are, then comparing ourselves to others cannot thrive in our minds.
Read Ephesians Chapter 1:5, all of chapter 2, and Psalm139:1-18. In them we learn that we are God’s masterpiece. Fearfully and wonderfully made by His own hands. He knit us in our mother’s womb and designed us for His pleasure and purpose. He seeded in each and every one of us, good works that He prepared in advance for us to do. In God’s love and His creation, we have no rivals.
So if God’s word is correct, then whatever pop culture and the enemy says about us not being good enough is a lie. And the act of comparison then has no power over us, and no place in our lives.”

Fight for Life. Our 50th episode honors the 54 million+ children who lost their lives due to the act of abortion.
Host Brandee Nielsen says: "In 1973, Roe v. Wade was based on the rape argument claimed by Norma McCorvey. Norma was the plaintiff Jane Roe, who claimed gang-rape as the reason she needed an abortion.
Years later, Norma McCorvey admitted that the rape story was a lie. Fabricated to garner sympathy for the pro-choice cause.
Out of the hundreds of thousands of abortions that occur each year since, for example in the year 2011 when over 730 thousand abortions were reported, (and that’s only the number that was reported), less than 1% occurred because of rape. "

Though for some, instead of charting a path to healing like we’d do when we’re sick with a cold, we push the emotional pangs down. By doing this we deceive ourselves, believing that we’re strong enough to deal with it. Or even worse, that the emotional hurt will make us stronger.
The result is that we become resentful and bitter toward the situation or the people that caused the hurt, including ourselves. How many of you know we can cause a heap of hurt within ourselves based on the poor choices we make?”
