Caring Counts is a way for us to share experiences in memory care. Our goal with these is to find commonalities and support for all the success and struggle we go through when caring for someone with Alzheimer's or Dementia.

This week we are talking to Dale and Steve about their loved ones in memory care. Steve's wife has seen a rapid progression in Dementia and is currently in an assisted living Community and Dale's Husband lived with Dementia for some years before passing in an assisted living community.

Bridget has been with Appelwood Our House Assisted Living Memory Care since it began and she tells us about her grandmother needing memory care and that even being in the memory care world, she still missed some of the signs of Dementia for 10 years!
