Thanking my listeners as of today I know most of you who are listening are my family and friends.
What an incredible journey! I just woke up from this quick and pain free procedure and feeling amazing! We have collected 7 mature eggs and 1 pre mature so 8 oocytes totale are getting preserved! I feel more than blessed, this is the best decision I have made!
Falling asleep before waking up for my day of surgery for my eggs retrieval to create my future generation in line!
Day 8, follicules are ready! Time for my last injection to trigger ovulation > the release of eggs by the ovaries.
Day 7, the day I was not looking forward to. I consciously know that I will be stabbing myself with that new and not-so-favorite syringe.. Wish me luck!
Day 6, I had my 1st ultrasound since the stimulation treatment and we are counting 12 follicles. I'm starting the second syringe today which is an ovulation blocker and GOD, the needle is way thicker!!! The good news about all this, I have absolutely no side effects so far!
Instead of thinking poking a needle in my stomach (yeah that's pretty graphic), I'm thinking of my body inviting the needle in.
The nerve hit to me! Over decided to videotape my self injection and got nervous, the first pile didnt go in. I also forgot to breathe!
First day for stimulating my ovaries with hormones to produce multiple eggs, retrieving my eggs from my ovaries and taking them to the lab, where they're cooled to subzero temperatures to be thawed at a later date.
I couldn't sleep to the idea that tomorrow/today I'm going to have to self inject myself with a treatment to begin the process of my egg freezing.
