Jack hits the European continent in a discussion on the current gated 6-speed V12 Ferrari market before pondering the prices of gently used carrera T’s to the historical sales data of the 997 and 991 GT3’s.
In this episode, Jack lets out a dark British secret that he has been hiding for a few years; No, not his love of going on the Lash (that's well known) but the incredible smiles per gallon value that is the manual F type Jag. A screaming supercharged V6 engine with a proper manual transmission from a storied marque like Jaguar for less than 40k USD is a deal any way you look at it. Then we celebrate Professor Steves's new 444 horsepower purchase, a 2016 BMW 650i, while laughing at the pain and misery he went through to find out that the UAE's version of the DMV is just as terrible as the one in the states.
Jack and the team start off this week's episode discussing some of their favorite automotive podcasts and my apologies to Derick Tam Scott from the Carmudgeon show as I referred to you as daniel.....but you look like a daniel and I had been drinking so there's that. Leaving the mythical beast to remain hidden in the states; we break into the modern-day pact of Steel by analyzing the Italian german hybrid that is the 2004-20008 Lamborghini Gallardo. With Porsche's recent announcement that they will not be going back to naturally aspirated engines, we do a market review for the 997 generation of the venerable Porsche 911. JOhn and Steve then crack jokes at Jack's expense when he professes his love for the queen of the trailer park, the last generation Pontiac trans am.
