In the last region before the finals, Peter D (commissioner of the tournament AND Hoppy Historian) helps decide the cider representative of the final four. Later, he challenges himself to finish all 8 ciders in the bracket and gets very emotional with the hosts. It's the first time The Hoppy Boys have ever been serious in almost 50 episodes. It only lasts for about 30 seconds.
The Hoppy Boys couldn't find anyone else to cover this bracket so they resorted to Richie. He reluctantly came on the show and didn't seem to enjoy a minute of it. Hopefully there is at least one salvageable minute of content in this 2 hour extravaganza. Brian accidentally gets wasted which is always good for the pod.

The epic tournament starts with an absolute BANG as father, husband and school teacher, Chris, joins the boys for an in person tasting and record. They meticulously decide who will represent Seltzers in the final four of this tournament. Later, Clyde joins the crew for a LIVE interview.

PART 2 PART 2 PART 2!!! Brian and Brendan are clearly running out of friends as they have on another returning guest, Richard Henderson, to decide the second finalist in this Malt Madness Tournament. They do their best to stay on the topic at hand, but naturally diverge into other hot topics. The call (from no one) to review craft beers has been heard! Brewery Reviewery - Oyster Bay Brewing edition!! The Hoppy Boys first edition in a new line of episodes where they review local craft breweries. For the special occasion, they needed a special guest. Lindenhurst alum, Pete Truszkowski (of @NYIslesNation fame) got the call. Within their deep dive into the Oyster Bay Brewing catalog, Pete explains his super-fandom for The Office, The Islanders, and Baker Mayfield. As the show goes on, Pete and Brendan tell Brian and the listeners about their rocky friendship, highlighting some touching moments along the way. Once Brendan stops talking about how much he has kissed Pete, they play a voicemail that is a tough listen for animal lovers everywhere.

Sitting by their yule logs and wrapped in festive red robes, Brian and Brendan spend some quality time sipping some holiday themed no-no juice. Although early on it seems the show will be taken over by a long Avatar: The Last Airbender tangent, the pair brings it back to the beer and cheer that initially brought them together.
