The Punctually Late Show: Recent Episodes

Jimmy and Aaron

We are Jimmy Hazlett and Aaron Warner. We are Christians. We are Husbands. We are dads. We are full time workers. One a medical diagnostic supervisor, the other a swing shift factory worker. We are from Stanford, KY and Harrodsburg, Ky and this is a show about nothing. Nostalgia. Marriage. Parenting. Food. Music. Whatever comes up! No topic is really off the table and we are here to offer a mental break. We do our best to provide family friendly content that you can listen to guilt free no matter the audience and try to help people see that The Lord gave us the ability to laugh about the seemingly insignificant things in life. We hope you enjoy!New content every Monday just in time for the morning commute!

5 minutes before recording (and about 10 minutes after we had begun), we were the most unsure we've ever been with regard to what we were going to discuss.

Jimmy was having brain fog due to his recent decision to go into ketosis and Aaron was having a mentally exhausting day - so we just hit the record button and decided it would come to us. And it did.

We discussed how our next episode would be our official 100th episode (not counting bonus episodes) and we wanted to take a second to look back at some of the things that had happened since the beginning of the podcast (especially since we are closing in on the 4 year anniversary of the show. So what better way to do that than to reach out to a few of our faithful listeners to get their favorite moments of the show?!

Made some calls and made it happen. We turned lemons into a tall pitcher of country lemonade with this one and it ended up being a show we were excited to record. We hope you all enjoy it as well!

We couldn't end the year without a Christmas [kinda] episode.

In this episode, we say our hellos and our gratitudes with Marlboro reds in hand for the show putting out an episode, but we jump straight into it like we never left.

Some fast food trends change for the better, but unfortunately, some fast food trends have society in a chokehold and we cant figure it out.

$15 for Trump supported (probably) BBQ is waaaay too much. Especially for the quality.

Redneck Christmas gift buying and Starbucks ordering are very similar in the onset embarrassment that comes from interacting with customer service clerks and requesting certain things.

We're still spending money on things that are overpriced.

The latter part of the episode we discuss Christmas traditions we'd like to see change or things that would enhance current traditions. And let me just tell you that there were some great ideas in this segment.

Let us know what you think! Felt good to be back in the saddle!

Just got done celebrating Independence Day here in the states and figured it was time to release another random episode of The Punctually Late Show for your listening pleasure.

Jimmy is still away from the mic, but Aaron was joined by another fellow podcaster all the way from VA via zoom - from the Enlightened Ones Podcast, Deuce Jones.

This episode we discuss the insufferable Limewire DJ tags that were on every one of our burnt rap CDs in the 2000s.

Sports drafts are the Met Gala for men who secretly fan boy over athletes (and apparently do not fan boy in front of some of the greatest athletes of all time).

July 4th is a special holiday, but it seems that people have went the opposite of Disney and decided to white wash the holiday by seemingly only celebrating the "blue" and "red" sides of our great country. Let's get "back" to being a country that isn't at each other's throats for once.

Ghost peppers and Carolina Reapers are the biggest flexes to guys in cargo shorts and V necks.

Not being the person that brings buns is also a flex apparently.

Wilford Brimley is looking down from the heavens and judging you for not intermittently fasting through breakfast.

True Classic Tees, hear me out: Stop trying to give guys their version of fake eyelashes. We know we aren't fit, get off it already.

Plenty more rambling, serious and fun, throughout this conversation. Let us know if you enjoy it!

When you can dream... Dream.

We know we could never eat all of this at once in one day, but IF WE COULD, we would.

A progressive dinner is what we are dreaming and Dr. Love Joe Osborne joins Aaron to discuss where they would go for each course of a meal. A lot of miles were put in, a lot of bloating incurred during this meal - but we salivated the whole time we recorded this show.

Hope y'all love it.

Today's episode takes a turn as Aaron is the one with axes to grind.

LeBron James becomes the all-time scorer in the NBA and you cant help but think 95% in attendance watched it through their phone.

On the upside, its nice to see LeBron recover from his wrist injury that was given to him by Jayson Tatum a few games back. Solid recovery, King.

Mascots are out of line. You cost me money, and it may cost you your identity.

All that and more as Jimmy's curmudgeon ways have migrated across the table for this episode. Hope you enjoy.

There are no words for this episode. It started as part 2 and ended up just being a random episode. We did discuss grocery store stuff, but we got another Bootleg Meteorologist update by the one and only Chrys Jones as he gives his takes on what he thought should be brought back.

Another Rabbit chase, but what did you expect?!

We hope you enjoy the show!

We are looking for interns to run our social media account. Will pay in merch and maybe one cup of coffee per recording. if you are interested, let us know on instagram @thepunctuallylateshow

This episode of The Punctually Late Show was not focused whatsoever. We wanted to stay focused on one thing and EVERY SINGLE RABBIT was fully trailed by us because, well, why not?!

Of course - before the show begins we have another Bootleg Meteorologist update by the one and only Chrys Jones.

What would you call the "white dude nod" if you had the authority to make that decision? We'll leave that for the people from the 50s to decide.

Fact check confirmed: "Time period" is specific for centuries way before ours.

Today we begin a two parter on grocery stores of the past and all of the things we remember about our store experience.

"click" - Cam Jansen reference for those aspiring librarians.

Elon Musk is trying to control your tweets. You heard it here - maybe from Donald Trump.

Speaking of neurolink - Spiteful Carrie Underwood is the "Siri" in Aaron's head.

The public school system is trying to buy your kids attendance with free groceries. So... you're telling me the government could pay teachers more but they choose to buy families groceries instead? Just sayin...

Marketing looks harmless from a parents perspective - but from a kid's perspective, it feels like Tony the Tiger is trying to convince them to go to Candy Mountain.

Using the word "Adult" as an adjective for anything is probably not the best idea.

Insane episode of just ridiculousness as expected. We hope you enjoy the first part as much as we did!

We are looking for interns to run our social media account. Will pay in merch and maybe one cup of coffee per recording. if you are interested, let us know on instagram @thepunctuallylateshow

Another gauntlet of topics again today.

Aaron is a die hard Buffalo Bills fan, so we discussed Damar Hamlin and what it meant to us before we get started.

Jimmy went to a Subway cosplaying as Jimmy John's.

Jimmy acts like Aaron says the N-Word when he says "white supremacist."

We REALLY wanted to talk about Jenni Chesney but didn't.

Insane episode if you just need noise in the background. We had fun. We had coffee. We Hope you enjoy it all!

Today on the show we are at Dry Stack and are helping them celebrate their 1 year anniversary of serving Danville. They call it a birthday, but we don't know how to determine if it is a BIRTHday or anniversary. Either way, we are celebrating!

We discuss having birthday parties and who should actually be celebrated. The question we have is - if the mother did all the work of giving you a birthday, how is it a celebration if she has to be responsible in part for the clean up?

We discuss some of the gifts we would have died to have and whether or not it is practical to use our adult money to get them.

Fossil watches are a thing of the past, but are they still relevant or have we moved on to bigger and slightly less impressive things?

We get a weather update from THE Bootleg Meteorologist that is crucial for the Labor Day weekend ahead.

Are friendships worth ruining over a Rainbow vacuum? Should we bring back potpourri? All of these things are discussed on today's episode. We hope you enjoy it!

IT FEELS SO GOOOOD TO BE BAAAAAAACK

Sporadically showing up like that late night text!

Today get hyped over all things fall. Pumpkin Spice and Halloween oreos (that are apparently better than bacon).

Also, we aren't at war with Russia yet, its just the perpetual sound of jackhammers while the City of Danville slightly ruins the downtown area with deconstruction.

RIP JuiceWorld as we headnod the new AI rapper and hope for an AI Mr Rogers president.

Today we discuss Jimmy's Buc-ee's experience has he endures opening day at Buc-ee's. It has been the talk of the state and has taken over Kentucky internet content all day and Jimmy casually goes on his lunch break to enjoy the sights and sounds.

Dr Respect - formerly known as Dr Love - brings in the show about fighting children and being inspired from moments as a child.

Jimmy lets his micro aggressions towards teenagers fly as he confesses his love for Hawaiian shirts and his disgust toward modern trends. It was a good show and if you are thinking about going to Buc-ee's and wondering if its worth the hype, join us and let us help you make the decision.

Happy Good Friday, y'all!

Today we discuss the guy who worked the sound booth at Go Tell America crusade in Harrodsburg. We are 100% on board with the work Go Tell did, all we're saying is the sound guy should have been listening to our show to realize sound issues happen and need to be overly aware of what COULD go wrong. Other People's Problems with sound > The Punctually Late Show sound problems.

You've all heard it: "Lord How Mercy" and "I could care less." But does that actually make sense? We riff and rant on the things people say and also own our own faults with saying "like" and "you know what I mean?" We're so basic.

Jimmy breaks down chili, specifically the SkyLine kind, and we discuss overall fast food disappointments (as always).

Wesley "The Vegan" Russell gets the first edition of Last Word, a new segment we are introducing to the show.

Hope you all enjoy this weeks riffs and rants on The Punctually Late Show brought to you from DryStack Roastery and Coffee Bar!

We had every intention on fully discussing things we are nostalgic for that we would have never imagined we would be nostalgic for, and we did about half an episode on that. Instead you got half nostalgia... half mukbang.

What is a mukbang? "Mukbang, in simple terms, is a live-streamed video where viewers watch the host eat. Mukbang is characterized by the copious amount of food consumed during the streaming – think banquet-size portions, where viewers sit and watch the one-person eating contest unfold" according to a random googled definition. We stuff our faces and drool over Dry Stack eats and treats and are pleasantly mesmerized by all the wonderful flavors you can experience at our new recording location.

We decided a spring menu item HAS to be an all year item and put on the menu as "The Stachewicz" named after Dry Stack's "Norm" and concierge - Kyle Stachewicz.

We revisit our campaign to get on local radio and discuss reasons why WPBK should be weary in leaving us on "read" after inviting us to have a conversation about local radio. Shout out to our campaign managers - Evan Hastie and Zach Middleton.

WHBN - we're lookin' at you for a spot!

What sounds more appetizing - Congealed or Coagulated?

Mantle murals done every 5 years (complete with wrinkles) are the only way to do family pictures unless it’s a candid photo at an auction.

Content gets deep as we also discuss being constantly connected but not neighborly and the pitfalls of everyone “on demand.”

Join us for the conversation and Let us convince you to try Dry Stack in Danville for biscuits and a good time!

We got another random episode for you today!

We've come to realize that recording at a coffee shop allows us to take bathroom breaks because we are able to pull in familiar faces to fill in while we record. Today for a brief moment, Kyle Stachewicz steps in for Jimmy as Jimmy has the bladder of a 3 year old.

Walmart shopping carts and smiley face stickers need to be revamped.

Aaron makes fun of two people for not knowing how many presidents are on Mount Rushmore, and then completely makes fun of Jimmy for saying Thomas Jefferson and corrects him by saying Andrew Jackson when it is indeed Thomas Jefferson.

Jimmy poses the question "Should we bring in a female co-host every now and then?" and justifies that we aren't "bros" that are gonna discuss "the different kinds of diesels and which one is better." Whatever that means...

We want to extend a much needed encouragement to Will Smith and help people remember who he is and what he has accomplished to try and keep everyone's view of him in perspective.

Plenty more is discussed, but it is a great episode in a very busy coffee shop today!

“Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, Shania Twain, and probably The Chicks”

That quote is the whole inspiration of this episode.

Today we discuss our Mount Rushmore of 90’s Country Music. Jimmy takes the more objective approach with the personal touch of subjectivity and Aaron takes the approach of underrated or under discussed artists that may not get the credit owed to them.

We discuss single artists and breeze through 90s groups that are synonymous with 90’s Country Music. We’re gonna get slammed for the bias toward the male artists, but this is not a new criticism towards us.

We also review the new Nitro Pepsi and give our takeaways on why it is an interesting product.

We're also rollin' out and touching on the subject of one of the greatest cultural phenoms of our time: Guy Fieri

We here at The Punctually Late Show are journalists. We are reporters with the hopes of giving the public information a little late, but with more accuracy. We also want our listeners to know that our opinions are more important than the facts (something our competitors over at CNN and Fox News will never admit). We want to provide the cold hard facts with engaging conversation for the sake of helping the public realize the gravity of the situation.

Today, we deal with inflation. Inflation rates at an all time high since 1982, the 7% we are experiencing is sadly not the end of the road, but a pitstop on the interstate of inflation. Today we are discussing things we'd stop buying if inflation grabs them by the throat and submits them into high prices.

We hope you enjoy the conversation and enjoy the current events. If you like this format, let us know!

We take a look at some of unpopular Christmas opinions sent in from The Contingent (the listeners and followers of the show) and discuss some of our own. We also discuss some improvements on how to make Christmas Day better and less of a disappointment.

Fig Bars > the chocolate Little Debbie Christmas Tree cakes

We are likely fighting law suits for playing Christmas music that we do not own over the air.

Jimmy thinks The Little Drummer boy is an elite Christmas song even if it has the most ridiculous lyrics and has an absolutely absurd concept.

Aaron wishes Santa would have given the Santa Baby lady the deed to the house she wanted, except he knew there was black mold growing in the basement and knew it was infested with termites.

The Ghost of Christmas Past is the reason its The Most Wonderful Time of the Year apparently.

We're in the Christmas season and had every intention of doing a Christmas themed episode. The problem is that we have a habit of following the serotonin when it pulses through, so that's what we did instead.

We have a pretty in-depth conversation about Jimmy's love for Tim Burton that led into a complete unfolding of the genius of Napoleon Dynamite. If you are a fan of Napoleon Dynamite you will not want to miss this one. Is Napoleon the main character? What decade was it set in? Why was it an important film for those who like to think deeply? I guess you'll have to find out!

We have a small discussion on used robes and would love for you all to chime in and let us know what you think on social media!

In this edish of The Punctually Late Show, we begin the process of writing a book about raising kids and convincing people why they shouldn't have kids. To clarify AGAIN - we love our kids, but people aren't being open about how having kids changes their lives and shows you how selfish you are. and that's what we have done in this episode. we expose our selfishness for not wanting to be inconvenienced and make it worse by pinning it on our kids who have no idea and replicate everything we do. Hopefully, to those of you that want kids, we didn't actually talk you out of it.

Today we wrap up our 90's Country Music Bracket. With the exception of more technological issues, this episode was filled with some classics. Sarah "The Vegan" (no relation to Wes "The Vegan") returns to the phone lines to settle a score as well as some other guests. Brian plays his guitar to fill gaps and a winner is crowned. Maybe now is the time to issue a trigger warning.

Today we dive into ranking the best and worst Trick or Treat candies. This is the best list you'll ever stumble upon. Trust us. It's the best. If you buy any of the candies on the worst list, you're  the reason why kids have stopped going door to door trick or tricking and they have to do it out of your trunk like you're bootlegging dum dums. Get your crap together and buy the right halloween candy! Do it for the kids!

We also "splash" into some nostalgic candy.

Also, if you're reading this - go on Instagram and send @wesworksmedia a congrats on his new couch. It's a nice couch and he needs to feel the love.

We aren’t perfect parents, and we do not pretend to have all the answers. We’ve just seen a common theme and felt the need to share. Today's episode is one that we have wanted to do for awhile. We are tackling hard to swallow pills when it comes to parenting. Parenting can be incredible difficult, but sometimes we make it more difficult than it has to be. We have made parenting more about placing our kids high above the rest of society and it sometimes backfires. We tackle some things that parents might need to hear. Some of what we say you may agree with and some of it may be things you disagree with, but at the end of the day its about hoping to encourage someone to take a look at how they parent and how they may project their parenting onto others.

We started the show with some reverb and vacation recaps. Spoiler alert: Tennessee is the worst state of all time.

After more SD Card/Sound Board issues, we managed to recover (barely) and crank out this gem.

We asked for some hot takes on Instagram and this led to a great discussion. We pulled specific hot takes from some of our listeners and fleshed them out to whether we agreed with them or not (or if we even agreed with each other) on each of them.

Hot takes are part of our culture and people are always willing to give their unpopular opinions when given the opportunity.

From movies to food, these are some pretty good ones and we look forward to doing more of these in the future. Shout out to Emily Osbourne, Dr. Love Joe Osbourne, Wesley Russell, and Gabriella Fonseca.

New Season calls for new everything.
We're happy to be back and we are happy to make some announcements.

We have a new logo. Because we have a new logo, we decided to create a new shirt. The new shirt can be ordered from this link:

Click Here to order your The Punctually Late Show shirt with the new logo!

When you order the shirt, you don't help line our pockets! All proceeds from this shirt will go toward Sunrise Children's Services and you can learn more about this local charity by clicking the link below.

Now that that is out of the way, we had a GREAT episode going for you all, but you only get half. Our SD Card decided to just lay down on us, and once it laid down, it stopped moving. We poked it with a stick and tried to lure it up with some Spam and got no where. So we kept recording because we were having a good ol' time and we looked down and saw the timestamp not moving on our recorder. So we just improvised and ended the show on a story.

The real story is this t-shirt. You're gonna wanna help these families out by putting on for The Punctually Late Show. This podcast is for people and we want to give back the best we know how. Go grab a shirt while you still can and be on the look out for more episodes with new SD Cards. It's gonna be a blast this go 'round!

We in here for an episode of TPLS/2! Jimmy was out on a date with his wife, so I sat down with TWTV's charismatic host Travis White to discuss a fictional character super team. Super teams have gained a ton of momentum in recent years with the Marvel Cinematic Universe and even in the NBA, but we are here to build a super team of our own. Fictional characters were selected based on certain qualities that give their team a leg up on the competition of potentially saving the world. Enjoy some nostalgia as we reach into our minds and discuss some of our favorite characters and how they all come together.

Click Here to hit up TWTV ( Travis' YouTube Page) as he explores small businesses around Florida and lets the shenanigans fly!

Children have it coming. They are always doing things that make you think, "How many times do I have to tell them not to do that?" We are making an inventory of all those times and going to use them to fuel a revenge for when our children are adults and have their own homes and families. We want full on retaliation to help them see what they put us through when they were kids.

This weeks punctually late episode of TPLS, Jimmy's time away is visited and his take aways from vacation are discussed.

Little boys have a hard time not urinating on the seat of a toilet, so it's probably not a good idea to hand them a 20 oz water bottle in a moving vehicle and expect flawless streams and steady hands.

Pi is a mathematical phenomenon that has its own day, but no one really cares about it unless its accompanied by cheap hand held fruit pies.

Lego Land is like stepping on legos for hours in the hot Florida heat.

Good Morning to The Contingent!

This episode is a little different. Jimmy is on vacation so instead of skipping a week we decided to release an interview we did with WesWorks Media on Content Creating. As Content Creators, Wes felt it was just right to interview us on how we Create Content and what is the mind set of a Content Creator inside The Punctually Late Show studio. We dive a little into the origins of The Punctually Late Show and how we have kind of refined who we are and what we do as time has passed. This was a great interview for us to reflect on what we are doing and as Wes says "know our why" for doing what we do.

We hope you enjoy it and we hope that if you feel inclined to start something, let us encourage you again as we have in the past, just do it.

Jimmy will be back in the studio next week as we are likely to discuss his vacation. For how, enjoy the interview and let us know what you think!

In this episode we dive into a couple of different topics and Elias joins us to keep his dad company.

Jimmy and his family are about to go on vacation. They are about to leave their homes and embark on a journey to a family get away to a land far far away...

well, far far away when you have a thousand kids to care for.. and stop 80 times in each state to go to the bathroom... and all of the fighting and screaming... should be an absolute blast! We talk about going on vacation and slightly comparing vacations to staycations.

Aaron has been busy baking a VBS from scratch and a conversation emerges about the lack of need for anything like VBS or weddings to be a big production.

Because Independence Day had just came and went, we discuss all things fireworks and how useless they are if they are noiseless.

We hope you enjoy the show!

On This Weeks episode, a long time listener and one of our faithful supporters, Tim Martin, stops in the studio on a surprise visit. Jimmy and Aaron were leaving the church and Tim stopped by the studio and Jimmy invited him on the show and it was everything we imagined.

Jimmy rants about his corn bread experience while Aaron discusses how good his quesadillas were and that led straight into a conversation about the best bread items. That's right... we are ranking our favorite gluten vessels of carbohydrates and couldn't be happier about it.

Y'all...

if you needed an inside scoop on what a vasectomy was like, take it from Aaron... it's an experience. Jimmy is vowing to never get one, but Aaron does his best to convince him why he should.

Aaron goes through pre-op, during op, and post-op procedures.

There is also random parent talk at the end of the episode, so you don't want to miss this one.

This episode is post hiatus and we stumble through some nonsense and decide to share our hearts. We said from the very first episode that we want to be encouragement to parents, husbands, wives, and Christians. It is no secret that we are Christian dudes just trying to get people to realize that Christians are allowed to laugh and they are allowed to enjoy life. At the end of the day, we do what we do because we love people and we love The Lord. Today's episode highlight our hearts for people struggling as we have been going over some rough terrain ourselves. Before we get too serious, we dabble in just water cooler talk and then decide to make a turn towards what's really on our hearts. We hope you find encouragement to push through or helpful ways to help those who are struggling in your life.

This week's episode has us wondering a simple and possibly unasked question:

Since we cannot push a button and go back, what can we do to live in the 90's now?

We're starting to make the word vomit episodes a normal occurance because they are so freeing! Are you reading this? Did you know that leather is not actually made from the skin of animals and its actually made from their organs? Did you know that Skittles actually taste like the rainbow? Did you know that Ranch dressing was originally made as a deterrent for people without common sense and later labeled as witches in Salem? Did you know Tik Tok backwards is actually Kit Kat? Did you make it this far? Are you there? Anyone?

On Todays episode, Jimmy and Aaron pose the question about why do we think this generation of people are so angry. It is clear that our culture is constantly enraged, but we're seeing the fruit and not the root. SO what are the root causes? Well, we are here to speculate on what those issues have been. Maybe this is the Traffic and Technology edition because I have a feeling we will be doing another one of these. Join us on the ride and see if you agree.

DISCLAIMER Jimmy said the word "idiots" one too many times for his liking, so we replaced it with "Zac McNutts" as a placeholder. We didn't want the kids to be influenced into calling everyone idiots for the next week, so we improvised and, honestly, I love it.

Today's episode is the first LEGIT episode with Jimmy back in his seat. No Guests. No Coffee. Just pure exhaustion from life and work on the horizon. It was so late that Aaron went home, laid on the couch in the clothes he was wearing, went to sleep, woke up and immediately left for work. Yes, he had the same outfit on for 24 hours straight. Disgusting? No. Productive and efficient? Bezos level.

We discuss food and more food. What else were we going to talk about when Jimmy got back?

We discuss turning ordinary life events into performances and award winning independent films.

We also dabble in our lethargy in random other conversations, so tune in and just chill with us. It's serious one of those conversations you used to have late at night when you were laying down at your friends house when you were having a sleep over.

This edish of TPLS/2

Everyone has been complimenting on the TPLS/2 intro music, and I figured I would pay some respect and bring the guy who raps on it in to do a show.

Chrys Jones is Married and a Father of 4 wonderful girls, 4x NCAA D3 Triple Jump Champion, a Christian Hip Hop artist signed to ChristCentric Records, a blogger over at Dwell With Christ, and a Health Coach by occupation. This guy is busy and makes it look like a walk in the park. Several people asked if I would do an episode with him and just have a conversation with him like we normally would, and this is it! Nothing flashy, nothing fluffy, just a normal conversation about our kids, eating right, and a little about his rap career.

Everyone go check out his music and support him by listening to his music on YouTube. Every time a song is played from the following link, he gets a small cut and it would help him out. You can find Chrys Jones on Youtube by clicking here!

Also, if you are a reader and like to read blogs that are saturated in scripture and helpful for every day living, you can find his blog at DwellWithChrist.com,

In this episode of TPLS/2 we are tipping the cap to some of our favorite childhood video games. Anything up to PS1 and N64 because, lets face it, games started to get out of hand after that. A faithful listener and friend of the show Dr. Love Joe Osborne has joined me in the studio to give a few takes on overrated and underrated games of our childhood. This episode is just an opportunity to completely nerd out with no reservations! It was a good time and if you liked early video games, then you'll thoroughly love this episode.

Some of the games mentioned:
Yoshi
Primal Rage
Revolution X
Sunset Riders
Cuphead
THPS2
Megaman 2
Megaman X
Mortal Combat Trilogy
Donkey Kong Country 3

and many many more!

On this episode of TPLS/2, we are opening the yearbooks and selecting the popular kids for superlatives. By popular kids, we mean 90s “rock” songs. That’s right, this episode we will be choosing some 90’s tunes based on a matching senior superlative.

My guests today are the original members of Straight Path Caleb Butcher, Lane Hum, and Derek Morris. Derek was kicked out of the band because Straight Path went through a phase where they felt like a bass player was not necessary. Come to find out, a bass player is actually pretty important. Caleb and Lane are now in a band called Space Mafia based out of Chicago, IL.

In this episode we choose songs based off of these familiar senior superlatives:

Most Athletic, Class Clown, Most Artistic, Most Likely To Succeed, Best Couple, Best Dressed, Most Unforgettable, Biggest Flirt, Most 90’s, Best All Around.

This episode was not possible without Dustin Morris.

Lane’s Mom gave all of his clothes away because he had already peaked in how he was dressing.

Gary Glitter is a real person apparently.

The Rock N Roll Hall of Fame should change their name to The Music Hall of Fame.

The Punctually Late Show has found their own “Young Jamie.”

What’s more ridiculous? The Floss or the Chicken Dance.

Lifeguards at local aquatic centers have no idea what they are missing by looking up from their phones. "NAAAAAAAATTUUUUUURE! Goulet!”

Radiohead is further solidified as a terrible band.

Metallica ruined Napster, but they did not ruin cover songs.

MTV’s newest show “Cancelled” is going to make us millions. By millions I mean millions in debt.

Need a song to dedicate to an event in your life? The Offspring have your back.

Derek proposed to his wife listening to a local metal band.

We do not own the rights to the RHCP song played in the show. I honestly didn’t know it existed until this episode.

Like Chris Gaines was Garth Brooks, Kurt Cobain was Alan Jackson

This episode of TPLS Over 2 is absurd. One of my favorite people of all time came to the studio and we just dreamed our biggest dreams. Austin Vaughn, the nicest guy on planet earth, came through and we built our wildest "man caves" and let it fly!

We had a little Harrodsburg history in the show for those of you who are HogTown natives.

AVaughn and Amy Warner we're practically BFFs, but only because it was free rides to football games.

Flats are the only wings worth having.

There is no better place for NBA Legend signed jerseys than on a clothesline.

A neon sign of Jimmy in the bathroom is a must for anyone.

We hit our stride at the end and go out on a recap. It was a good time and Amy is already dreaming of this to come true, BROTHER!

On this episode of TPLS Over 2, I sit down with some of the "youth" group and we discuss things that are annoying about Social Media. Granted, we couldn't get to everything we wanted to talk about, and I hope to revisit this episode with Jimmy, but nonetheless, it was incredibly fun hanging out with these guys. Made this 33 year old feel young and cool again.

Gavin and Susanna have relational strife through the whole episode and may need to go to counseling after this one.

Bella Floro is accused of being on her phone all the time and is a self proclaimed addict.

Bella Domidian has 19 social media accounts and is ridiculed for being on social media too much. It's a hobby apparently. Hobby... Addiction... same difference.

Mountain Dew has a scale and Major Melon is one the charts on that scale. And by off the charts we mean crashing through the bottom at light speed.

Susanna talked way too much in this episode and everyone else barely got a word in. She's striving to be the permanent replacement of Jimmy, and I think it's working.

The score is settled as conclusions have been drawn about an age old question: Why do teens hang out with each other in large groups and then just end up on their phones?

We hope you enjoy this as much as we did making it!

This week on The Punctually Late Show, conflicting schedules seem to be a recurring thing lately, but we're gonna keep cranking out the content.

A couple of weeks ago, we did a Disney episode and as it was put out on the airwaves, there was a ton of scoffs and rebuttals from one Amy Warner, so we we had her come to the studio and give some thoughts on some things Disney related.

We answered some critical questions with holes in the story, we played a game where we chose certain princesses for certain life roles, and we also compared celebrities to Disney Characters (and we did our best to prove our bipartisan opinions as equal opportunity haters). It was a good time and did it all without waking baby Calvary. This is how we spent our Valentine's Day outing and it was fun to do something like this (though she isn't exactly someone who likes to speak "publicly").

A couple of boys have birthdays this week so we decided what better time to bring them on the show than now? Elias "The Linebacker" Hazlett and Lincoln "The Intro" Warner join us in studio to discuss their favorite foods, sing their favorite tunes, and just chatter on about fishing and sirens. These boys are part of the reason we do the show the way we do it. We want to give them something they can look back on and listen to their dads laugh and enjoy themselves without being crude or rigid. We want to provide a product that is able to be heard in front of children guilt free and listen to them make their comments as the show goes along. We also want them to understand how fun conversation can be and the enjoyment of looking back with old friends as they push forward together. That is why we are going to be doing this show every year as The Lord wills for us to do so, so that they can do something with us to see how much they've grown and how much we loved their company. It was fun to have them in there and we hope you enjoy the conversation.

Disclosure: This episode is definitely our longest to date. It is also our most serious episode. We will be back with the regular ridiculousness next week, but we felt that it was time to just share our thoughts on 2020 and the year that made us stop and think.

We took the time to reflect on what we learned personally. We hope that you do not view this as us pushing out thoughts on you as much as it is us being raw and taking a look back at a year that was chaotic for all of us. As much as we are inclined to say it was a complete botch, it actually had some redeeming qualities. We share our frustrations, we share where we found encouragement, we share what we think needs to change, and we end with sharing our ultimate challenge to you, our faithful and wonderful listeners.

We hope that you can take this episode as a way of understanding that we know how flawed we are as humans, but we desire to be better and to grow for the sake of the world we have been blessed with.

Although we have told our wives countless times that we have no idea what we want for Christmas... we really do. We just know that they are typically a little far fetched and not worth buying so we decide to lay our hearts on the table and release to the world things we would have liked to get for Christmas. Some of them are super expensive, and some of them are within reason, but by the time this hits the airwaves, the Amazon Delivery Date will be January 26th.

We also briefly discuss Disney movie soundtracks, our love for Moana and CoCo, and slightly rank our favorite Disney Villain songs. Hope you enjoy this episode because we enjoyed this one.

This part of the Christmas Movie bracket is brought to you in part by Blame Shifting and Destiny. Blame Shifting and Destiny is a part of the human experience where someone points the finger at another person for having the autonomy to make a choice and not being able to deal with it and then hanging up on people just to call someone else and get the same result. Go to Blame Shifting and Destiny Amazon Storefront and use the discount code ITSAARONSFAULT and you'll receive 38% off your purchase.

On this episode of TPLS, we finish up our movie bracket with out good friend Eric Withers. This is the section that has everyone wondering how this thing is going to end up. Ultimately, we hope it fuels you to spend your December watching Christmas movies with your family and not having the thoughts "its nice to do this all together," but rather "they were so wrong...why did they select this movie over that one?!"

This episode of The Punctually Late Show is brought to you unofficially by Not Your Ordinary Vegan. NYOV is a dedicated vegan cafe offering whole food plant based, gluten free and comfort foods in Lexington, KY. If you're going to be vegan, don't be ordinary. Go live off the land and check out NYOV.

Today we have our good friend, Eric Withers, in studio with us to determine "the best" Christmas movie of all time. This is the most ridiculous bracket I've ever experienced. We make phone calls to a mixed bag of random and hand selected people to determine which movie should advance. There are some real heartbreakers and some real obvious winners. Get ready for the madness as you celebrate some wins or get incredibly ticked off at how this one shakes out.

The biggest take away from this bracket is that either 1) robocalls have ruined everyone's phone calling experience to the point that no one answers the phone when someone is calling them or 2) people are so incredibly busy on Saturdays that they just don't have time to answer the phone.

Today we talk about most of the Little Debbie options on the market and how we feel about them. There's no denying the fact that we would devour just about any that are given to us, we just wouldn't waste our money on them.

Jennifer feels like Jimmy is sneaking around on her due to his sudden urge to season her food. But its not her, its Tony.

Okay, y'all... This will not be a typical version of The Punctually Late Show.

There were some things we had to get off our chest. We changed it up a little tonight to have a vent sesh and air some frustrations. Festivus is among us and we are clearing the air. Maybe you can agree, maybe you disagree, but we felt like some things needed to be said. Come along with us as we analyze a couple of aspects of the life we live in and just hash out some things on our minds with you.

We feel like our listeners have been wanting to hear a more serious side of us, so we obliged and went in on some topics that we felt dear to us as society presses on. In the future, we may be doing a mixed bag of serious and funny episodes because we want to be able to make you laugh, but we also said from the beginning that we find value in offering encouragement and fleshing things out to give the mind peace about things, so we want to commit to doing that a little more often and we hope you come along with us. Let us know what you think.

We've all done it...

We see a parent out in public and say "I'll never do that to my kids..."
Time slowly chisels away at your integrity and there you are... with your kids... doing that thing you said you'd never do.

Today, we discuss those things and talk about how terrible we are as parents and making public record of our short comings so our kids can hate on us later in life.

Jimmy joins us via phone from his luxury chateau in St. Anford where he is taking a short, but warm break from coming to the studio. By warm we mean about 102.1 degrees, so things are nice and summery there. Must be nice...

Its not what you think...

Every year, a local newspaper opens a poll for citizens to cast their votes for their favorite foods and services. We decided to participate a little bit and cast our votes (and mainly criticism) towards some of these places. You guys are very aware of how reserved we are when it comes to giving our opinions, so we figured we would break out of our shells a little and deliver a our votes via the airwaves.

Today we discuss things we love but pretend not to like to save our personas. It's been weighing on us and we had to just get it out in the open and confess to everyone how we actually feel. This episode was inspired by some stealthy camera work by the girlfriend of one of our favorite listeners.

You read it right! Two brackets in the same episode! Jeremy McCowan and Josh Reardon collectively join us in studio to hash this out and we also have a few guest callers on the show as well! Nonetheless, it was an insane episode.
We continued to work through our Sitcom Bracket and went from the Sweet 16 down the road to crown a champion (and what a turn of events that was)!

We also worked through a Sweet 16 bracket to play off of episode 18 where we worked through a blog of things men "need to win at life." Instead of selling click bait ads, the four of us came up with a bracket of things we think are actually essential and crowned a winner there as well.

Thanks to Josh Reardon and Jeremy McCowan for coming on and staying up late with us to do this show. Special thanks to all the callers for participating and being faithful listeners and active participants in the show! You are the reason we keep doing what we are doing!

Our homie Jeremy McCowan stops by to help with the sitcom bracket. Though he was not properly welcomed by Jimmy, its clear their relationship can be likened to that of Jim and Karen or even Jerry and Elaine. We'll leave that up to you to decide.

Welp... Them boys are at it again... lets see if they can out run ol' Roscoe in this weeks episode

Jimmy has had it up to HERE with people that do not know how to toast marshmallows. He's in the minority on how to roast them and, like always, he wants everyone to assimilate to his way....... Men...

Is it me, or does the show always start with cookies? Shouldn't there be a pop up asking if the whole cookie thing is alright?

This episode is all about if we could push a button and set things back to a simpler and more enjoyable time.

Flames run around on commercials and people want to touch other peoples hearts. Commercials didn't make sense back in the day, but they were lit. On Fire. Literally.

Technology is so advance and our kids are gonna miss out on how awesome sitting through commercials are... and slipping discs in their backs. Here's to positive change!

You know what's better than facial recognition and emojis? Walkie Talkies and Free nights and weekends. You say other wise - "Okay Gen Z'er..."

"Do you Smoke?" ... "No, I Vape!" Is the new "Do you like 'Married With Children?"... "No I Like Friends!"

We're looking into sending Proofs of Purchase with every sticker purchase so that when you get 500 proofs of purchase, you can get a The Punctually Late Show lapel pin.

Google: "Mud Turtle Winston Ear Infection" and you'll see an old holistic medicine treatment for a common ailment in your children.

APEX? More like LamePEX. Call of Duty doesn't hold a candle to Cruisin' USA.

An Arcade is the child's version of Vegas. You may not win a lot of money, but you might win 2500 tickets to get a slap bracelet.

"Warner, Party of 6 - what's the wait?"
"5.3 weeks."
"Perfect! Thought it would be longer than that!"

Nothing goes with Crocs better than this one item of clothing... here's a hint: its a Starter Jacket and they're spectacular!

Jimmy reveals that he is amphibian. It's a true story.

Next on HGTV - wood panelling makes a come back and the Property Brothers are running a marathon of all 16 of their shows proving its back.

You have Chromebooks? Pfffttt... we had a vending machine where we could get notebooks and erasers. Ha! Chromebook... get outta here...

We need water color backdrops and terrible haircuts to make a come back. Kmart photo studio is a thing deeply missed by The Punctually Late Show.

In this edish of The Punctually Late Show

Aaron and Jimmy give a shout out to a friend of the show for pointing out their social media flaws. This is the reason feedback is necessary to The Punctually Late Show - these two idiots can’t do anything right.

Jimmy and Aaron recall the past several years and discuss the “For Better or For Worse” parts of their wedding vows and dive into what’s gotten better and what’s gotten worse in marriage.

If you are letting your spouse go days without a shower - kindly urge them to do so.

Jimmy completely trashes his wife's cooking…. AND TOTALLY REDEEMS HIMSELF! By Redeems himself, we mean he and his wife fulfill their dinner cravings by creating and experiencing a candy bar bracket.

If you want to gain financial freedom, if you look at “the baby steps” as the food pyramid - giving is the sugar section according to our favorite financial counselor.

Mommy bloggers everywhere have reached out and instructed us to give our kids melatonin every night. We’re better than that and will not heed their advice. We’d rather induce Exorcist level vomiting.

Do you all watch “The Voice” on social media? No… Not the one with Blake Shelton (why is he even on that show?), but the MLM voice that suggests we are friends but is actually a ploy for you to buy over priced items or teach you how to cook in a way that makes you feel like you're in a Home Ec class.

The question we are asking on The Punctually Late Show is: “How y’all doin that?” Surely we aren’t the only ones asking the one parenting secret you can't find on Pinterest.

ALERT! Adult time - From Timestamp 57 minutes or so… Parental Discretion is advised - For a good 5-10 minutes.

Y’all… Jimmy raises the rating from G to PG (potentially PG-13) and has weeks on end made references to “marital relations” and even uses the three letter “S” word with a deep explanation on what he is referring to (with a Kentucky Derby and Bourbon reference).

Aaron is trying his best to hold the G rating and suggest we are giving “The Talk” to your kids so you do not have to. Pick up your purity rings on The Punctually Late Show web store.

Again, Aaron makes several attempts to clean up the content, but Jimmy’s mind is on one thing. Sheesh... Typical man for ya...

Mel Gibson gets two shout outs in the same episode. WWJD? I mean, Mel didn’t write the book, but he made the movie - so he’s a worthy reference.

Now that your mind is in the gutter - the remaining minutes of the episode is full of comments that could easily keep your mind in the gutter. Consider it bonus material.

In Episode 12 of The Punctually Late Show

Jimmy and Aaron expose TED Talks for what they are: Agenda driven rants that are presented as new information but its stuff that everyone already knows. With great exposure comes great responsibility - so the guys round up their soapbox material and discuss some of the topics they would give at their TED Talks

Jimmy is the keynote speaker and begins by addressing the crowd with a story about hitting possums (or is it Opossum?) and how marital strife ensues. Aaron, however is the biggest humanitarian on earth. Ace Ventura would approve.

TED Talks commence:

"Permission To Share/Sharing Is Only Caring If Its Yours To Share" - Jimmy Hazlett

"TNCCD: Task Neglection Copy Cat Disorder. Hypocritomania For Short." - Aaron Warner

"Snacks Going Stale: Sociopathic Food Games" - Jimmy Hazlett

"Part 1: Gettin’ By: How To Influence Your Employer For More Time Off" - Aaron Warner
"Part 2: Build Wealth: If You Rephrase It and Twist It a Little, You’re Golden (just be sure to give a nod to the original source in a book). " - Aaron Warner

"SAHMs and The Bond of All Things Children and Chocolate" - Aaron Warner

"Here's a Quarter: Bring Back The Phone" - Jimmy Hazlett

On Episode 11 of The Punctually Late Show, a new restriction has been placed on.. the one thing that we aren’t going to talk about anymore. You know… THAT thing… we’re over it. Episode 10 was good closure.

Some of the topics touched, not touched in the Subway spokesperson way, but hit on.. wait… that’s not good either… okay: some of the topics discussed:

  • The guys discuss Jimmy’s love language. It’s not Witnessing Life Saving Events.
  • Jimmy and Aaron officially break the fast food ban! In the words of Foreigner.. “I’ve been waaaaitiiiing… for a girl like you!” By a girl we mean an episode. THRILLED to be talking fast food again!
  • Todays discussion begins with how people dedicate music to significant others or events and the music never really matches to the emotion they are trying to tie to it. So please… do not dedicate anything by Alanis Morissette to anyone you care about.
  • The rest of the episode is spent dedicating music to fast food restaurants - you’ll either love us or hate us for this.
  • Some of the things we learn - Is Aaron REALLY a Christian? Speculation is rising…
  • Jimmy has no feelings for crunchy bread, “just like, a paper back novel.”
  • Another non-secret: Aaron is very “careful with his money” and aware of how much he is judged for questionable tastes in music.
  • The guys come together to claim the absolute best fast food restaurant and there is no competitor or debate - with some menu suggestions you should indulge yourself with.

Ep 10 show notesJimmy and Aaron come together (6 foot apart) and have a little break down of the positives and the negatives of being “healthy at home.” Did I get that right, Kenneth?

The recalibration of the family is crucial, but it sounds like Mrs. Hazlett has been wearing her leggings around the house a little too often while playing 90's R&B as Jimmy expresses his favorite part about being at home more with nothing to do. If you are wondering - the safe word is “ramekin.” I think a theme is setting in...

Sportsball has come to a halt - Thanks a lot, Tom Brady…

With the surge of good vibes on social media and out with the political memes - Aaron has officially rejoined the Facebook world and the guys say RIP to Twitter.

Aaron wishes for the grandest event that has ever hit Junction City to be cancelled.

Now, lets get negative… negative…

Social Distancing Warriors acting like Dwight on The Office Season 2 Episode 20, but for finding people that have left their house instead of finding a joint.

Summer is upon us. Please... Leave your children in the hot car while you go into Walmart to maintain social distancing protocols. Jimmy would just say “turn some Post Malone on and the kids will be fine…”

Essential and Non-Essential are new social cards to pull on people. Use it wisely.

Your gloves, that you don’t know how to wear, belong in the trash - not in the parking lot.

A reminder to not talk about politics… but when you do, you’ll learn that women simply want leadership from their man. #BAEshear.

Jimmy’s kids have seen it all, and this is the hardest life experience they have ever seen.

Close the show with a little encouragement and hopefully a rally call to carry on!

There has never been a more unorganized, last minute production in a podcast than this one - and we love it. This is quite the potpourri of topics. So scrap all the talk about the do's and do not's about first time parenting and chill out with The Punctually Late Show!

Jimmy and Aaron start the show off briefly comparing hip hop and country and prove that their music knowledge is either limited or incredibly biased. Also our love for hip hop adlibs

Between Episode 8 and Episode 9, Jimmy is stuck between Craig Daniel and Bear Grylls for The Punctually Late Show most attractive man.

“Kanye” Twitty has creepy music, but Garth Brooks showed up and said “hold my beer.”

Hey scientists and psychologist, you know what really grinds my gears? When room temp coffee is ice cold and not room temp. Explain that to us!

Aaron and Jimmy decide that drinking water all day and urinating all the time is a culture of High Society.

According to Esquire Magazine, Aaron is breaking manly rules for drinking with a straw. Not sure if breaking rules according to Esquire should be concerning or not.

The Great Chicken Debate is becoming a normal talking point amongst Americans and Aaron has an experience at work with a psychopath that has him on the fence about his decisions.

You are getting your coffee creamer in the wrong aisle of the grocery store.

The trek down the cereal path begins - post cereal milk and some great recommendations. Jimmy is apparently a YUGE fan of Bran.

Oreo Cookies and their 3483958 flavors. Aaron is a huge fan - Jimmy… not so much. His 2020 protest sign reads: "Please reflavor the Fig Newton instead."

We need Marshawn Lynch’s opinion on yogurt covered Skittles.

We say we aren’t doing a Orange Leaf ad, but still in a round about way, we did.

It’s fashion week on The Punctually Late Show as we get into what we think should or shouldn’t be worn. Essentials to the closet of every dude, and things we suggest you throw out. The “Fashionistbros” work through different types of apparel and suggest everyone take our advice.

Somethings were built to last: Crocs are at the top of that list. It’s the old reliable farm truck of footwear.

Jimmy sounds like an old woman when he says “tennis shoe” and it validates the point all the more.

You’re gonna see a trend of comfort over cost.

Jimmy likes the flip flop - Aaron not so much and its about the comfort and the look. Jimmy’s love for the Birkenstocks makes his Cane’s opinion even more questionable.

Jimmy is superstitious over his sweat pants with good reason, and Aaron wants to bring back the break away pants.

Aaron gets complimented over his ability to pull off old man pants and both the guys agree that skinny jeans are for no one and do not feel like it's really necessary to talk about.

Jeans and furniture are the only things people buy new that looks like its been put through Vietnam. Can’t wait for cars to hit this trend so we can make some cash.

Aaron apparently couldn’t think of the word “Chinos” so he said Gauchos and they are NOT the same. Definitely NEVER recommend Gauchos for guys.

“Zac McNutt” is the new suggested replacement for "John Doe."

What kind of shirt you wear is kind of universal, but there are some that MOST guys should stay away from. Our homie Phil is one of the only dudes that can pull off the silky Keith Sweat shirt.

The Trucker Hat is the most lost article of clothing and we DEMAND a return back to them!

Jimmy loves leggings. Does that make him sound like a sexual predator? Probably, so it’s a good thing he specified on his wife. Aaron loves the athletic look on his wife - so she is The Punctually Late Show’s Sporty Spice.

REFERENCES FROM THE SHOW

  • Aaron's shoe game strong - but in a few years may suffer osteoporosis.
  • Wafflestomper may feel like Steven Seagal, but his Doc Martin's are fresh.
  • This is why Aaron doesn't wear flip flops. Just something about em...
  • Jimmy may hate the Nike Shox, but Aaron loves them - Especially the since Vinsanity wears em!
  • These old man pants could probably be renamed "Paternity Pants" and everyone would be cool with that.
  • The Highland games are legit!!!! Kilts and all!
  • This may be why Aaron likes the Blue Barracudas: this kids quick and savvy answer.
  • Scarf or Security Blanket? We're actually calling him Linus Kravitz now.

We know everyone is going coo-coo right now, so why not throw a little extra content to ease the pains before you resort to the liquor cabinet?

In this bonus episode, we discuss the only thing that matters during this time: showing your kids the importance of REAL movies, REAL music, and REAL video games.

That means no Hollywood remakes, No mumble rap, and no Fortnite.

As the internet is going wild and showing off how they are caring for their loved ones, we encourage you to go back in time and take a trip down the Nostalgic Boardwalk with your family.

You're about to learn how terrible we (Aaron and Jimmy) imitate our favorite musicians.

We have forgotten the great American past time of "dubbing" with a VHS and masking tape.

If you were going to start your own show that had to induce high energy and charisma, would you (or anyone else) honestly ever consider Carson Daly?

We are the old guys that are talking about how much better their generation was better than all other decades of music and discuss some quality tunes (and failed to mention Phil Vassar, Mark Chesnutt, and Dwight Yoakam).

One thing is for sure: when we used to think we were really cool, we were everything BUT cool. See JNCO jeans for further info.

Episode 7 for The Punctually Late Show

Only a couple more weeks for the Orange Leaf deal in Danville, KY so go #makelifesweeter with Orange Leaf and share your experience by tagging The Punctually Late Show on social media. Also, a few more $20 gift cards to hand out!

Don’t be fooled by the title of this episode. Still no heavy theology - The guys are simply showing you ways to apply these verses.

The fellas keep it real with a more serious episode about what they love about their wives and how much better their wives are than they ever will be. For a good comparison: imagine if Mary Poppins married George Costanza.

Jimmy kicks the show off about a story where he is glued and motionless to the TV watching a show about a little girl choking on a chicken bone while a nurse saves her life - except the TV is real life and this reality TV show turns from medical thriller to potential Fantasy Suite segment in the Hazlett house.

The guys discuss what makes them so attracted to their wives and what makes their marriages thrive - Spark notes: it's not lip liner.

Selfie rules have been set and must be followed by everyone immediately. All previous selfies are excused and we will allow them. Thank us later when you realize how much more storage your phone has by applying these rules.

Fellas: New Internet Challenge: do that load of laundry or other random house chore without posting it - ask yourself: “What would wifey do?” The answer is always 20x more, 30x faster, and 0 chance of bragging about it on social media.

The spouse has the final say on how attractive a person is, not the said person - cat calling is an acceptable behavior in this context.

  • Orange Leaf deal and a plug for a novel written by a delightful young lady we know and love. Some people write novels at a young age, Jimmy draws cult symbols all over his 80 page college ruled spiral notebooks.

  • PSA: If you want to be a productive member of society, don’t wash your hands... And by productive we mean single handedly being responsible for the down fall of humanity dying of illnesses.
  • Jimmy convinces Aaron that only perfect strangers are forbidden from talking at the urinal. Also, What Jimmy means as he is talking about bathroom functions: Beginner = peeing and Advanced = pooping. He’s not much of a potty mouth these days.

On Episode 5 of The Punctually Late Show

  • Jimmy and Aaron have pulled some strings to get our dedicated listeners a “sweet” deal.
  • Aaron admits defeat and had to be talked off a tongue torched ledge by the faithful few who stood by his side in The Great Chicken Debate.
  • In an effort to stop bullying, Jimmy lets Aaron lead (and if we are honest… we had to reset more times than a n00b playing Halo).
  • Apparently most entry level jobs just require you to be present and aware, but everyone needs a referral with a a lifespan of experience in order to gain experience. PSA Employers: Hire people so good people can get experience!
  • Jimmy pats himself on the back for being a superhero dad, and then Aaron reminds him about a time SuperDad took one of his several dad naps.
  • MLM is becoming a running joke. And we are very aware of how similar we are to a Pyramid. #SorryNotSorry
  • Scenario: Chip and Joanna do a Fixer Upper on your future home, but you are concerned that they did anything at all because there are candles lit but you can’t see all the open shelves and shiplap and it smells like onion skin and never frozen ground beef.
  • Grizzly smokeless tobacco dip is coming out with their new flavor: Hot Maple Toddy
  • Mac Tonight and all the majestical toys and aesthetics that McDonalds used to be and the downfall of the Golden Arches. Bring back the Arch Deluxe and we’ll call it even.
  • Jimmy apparently thinks every McDonalds food starts with “Mc.” His McCoke is the best McDrink ever and hates his McBurger in a McBox.
  • Aaron slips and apparently almost cusses in front of the kids on the air. Next time - he’s getting bleeped “up in this p…. Joint”
  • Who else remembers Quiznos? Apparently it spells terrible marketing and Dave Ramsey would never suggest investing in an unknown sub shop. Subs were what they sold…. Right?
