As the Law passed from the angels to Moses, so too does our author as he takes focus on the supremacy of Jesus over Moses, the prophet. The exodus, law and tabernacle, which will become central themes for the book, all began through what God did with Moses. Could Jesus be greater then him?

The author begins the book by focussing us on Jesus and showing his superiority to Angels. The belief that the Law was passed to Moses by angels begins the journey of seeing Jesus as the climax of the whole Exodus narrative.

The situation has become so hostile towards Jesus around Jerusalem that he knows  he will be risking his life  in order to save Lazarus'. In the final episode of the first series "The Story of Scripture" we explore the final book of the Bible, "The Revelation of Jesus Christ". A book that is often fearfully avoided and rarely understood. As we conclude our story we will see the reality of Christ's victory and the restoration of all creation. Through the Lamb's victory dealt is done away with and all evil is gone. The tree of life returns as we witness God's glorious redemption of all things and his dwelling place with us, forever.

In the Bible we have many books known as "The Prophets". Sometimes these books can seem confusing, it can be hard to understand what they're saying let alone to know that they actually fit into the Biblical narrative. This week we retrace the history of the kings of Israel and Judah looking at the messages of some of the prophets who spoke, why they spoke and what the heart of their messages are.
