Heartfelt, honest and open conversations about the trials and tribulations facing parents managing business and family life.
Am joined by a friend from our Trinity College wrestling days. Dave was our team captain our junior and senior years. We stayed in touch as he moved back home to New Jersey to become a successful wrestling coach, and a loyal husband and father of three beautiful kids.

Misha is an accomplished painter, a program direction for the pre-foundation course of Art & Design at the British Higher School of Art & Design in Moscow and the director of the Moscow School of Contemporary Art. He is a husband, father of two, and a dear friend.
We touch upon the importance of knowing your family history, establishing open lines communication with your children, sharing life experience and giving kids a right to their own opinion and voice. We also touch upon the potentially terrifying effects of too much screen-time for kids who end up more interested in the digital world, than the real one that we live in. This is an important conversion every parent needs to hear.
Episode 3:
Joined by a friend I haven't connected with since high school, Claude Kershner. Claude is a husband and father, managing a successful business, and in the middle of experiencing what every parent fears the most - the illness of their child. Claude opens up about the experience of being divorced, sharing custody with his daughter, remarrying and most recently how him and his family have been dealing with his 4-year old daughter's leukaemia diagnosis and treatment.
We speak about guiding principles, faith and family, and the strength he found in his daughter's inspirational attitude facing a potentially grave disease. Their story is truly inspirational.
Episode 2 Show Notes:
This is a guest episode we recorded for FounderStoriez with Ephraim Yermak. We talked about my journey as the founder of www.geltina.io; what motivates and drives me, how I keep myself sane through daily routines for mind, body and soul, and close with useful advice for startup founders struggling to get off the ground.
Episode 1:
I'm joined by Dave Crompton (https://www.facebook.com/dave.crompton.92. ) from the United Kingdom.
Dave is a life coach for parents struggling with mental health. Dave and I met on a parenting forum and I was taken aback by his story and work. He is a husband, father of two and we are grateful he joined us for our first episode.
Dave's blog, online courses and work can be found at https://huckleberrygrove.com
We started out with a jovial discussion about the use of psychedelics in the treatment of depression, and dove into his life story, how his life changed when he became a parent, the pressures of parenthood, battles with depression and ultimately victory over his dark night of the soul. Dave touches upon the responsibilities, battles and decisions we all face as parents, and shares what he learned about how to deal with mental health.
