Danny Bloom created the phrase “cli-fi” and founder of cli-fi.net. Here’s his review.

Climate-themed anti-Trump short story 'A Climate Carol' will be read 100 years from now

''We must build arks,'' the Notre Dame University philosopher Roy Scranton urges, ''not just biological arks, to carry forward endangered genetic data, but also cultural arks, to carry forward endangered wisdom.''

One such cultural ark has already been built and it's a 14-page Christmas story from the pen of Richard Friedman in Cleveland, Ohio.

In the title story, "A Climate Carol," based very closely on U.S. President Donald Trump's stubborn and selfish personality and his public denial of climate change, a narcissistic East Coast businessman and billionaire receives a visit on Christmas Eve from three Charles Dickens-like ghosts in a contemporary spin of that timeless classic from the 1840s "A Christmas Carol."

Charles Dickens first published his now famous novella “A Christmas Carol” more than 170 years ago -- in 1843 — and that story has reverberated and resonated worldwide ever since.

With the annual holiday season upon us all every November and December worldwide (Thanksgiving, Chanukah, Christmas), a new kind of holiday story titled “A Climate Carol” has been published in 2019 and stands to remain in print for the next 100 years, if not longer. It's that good, and that important. In fact, I would say that this short story is the best and most important climate-themed short story to appear so far in the 21st century and is likely to remain popular over the next 100 Christmases for sure.

When I read it online a few days ago, I was blown away by both the author’s storytelling skills and the environmental eco-theme of the 14-page piece.

Let me tell you a few things about this modern Dickensian-style story and how it fits into the world we live in today, where runaway global warming threatens to push human civilization into a dark corner we may never get out from.

However, before I go on, please know that “A Climate Carol” ends on an optimistic note, where ecumenical goodness triumphs over ''Trumpian greed'' and all ends well.

In the story you will meet characters with names like Wilson Drummond (the proverbial '' Trumpian bad guy'' who later turns over a new leaf and becomes a champion of human kindness), his mother Gurtie Drummond, his limousine driver Sammie Johnson, and his employee Jericho Reese. And the star of the show, his grand-daughter Lily.

You will also meet several important ghost-like characters, one who calls himself the Ghost of Climate Past, another who says they are the Ghost of the Current Climate in the world, and a third ghost who speaks in a chilling voice reminiscent of the horror movie actor Vincent Price and declares that he is the Ghost of Climate Future.

In the end, we learn that the Scrooge-like Trump-like Drummond has mended his insensitive ways and become a better human being. He even later becomes President of the United States and turns out to represent all that is good about America.

And grand-daughter Lily lives to the ripe old age of 93 and looks back with fondness at the strange but redemptive life of her grandfather for the things he later did to protect the environment, save the planet and give back to his workers what he earlier had taken from them: their self-worth. This little short story will have an annual impact during a special time of the calendar year, the long holiday season of family gatherings and children’s dreams. Read the title... Danny Bloom created the phrase “cli-fi” and founder of cli-fi.net. Here’s his review. Climate-themed anti-Trump short story 'A Climate Carol' will be read 100 years from now ''We must build arks,'' the Notre Dame University philosopher Roy Scranton urges, ''not just biological arks, to carry forward endangered genetic data, but also cultural arks, to carry forward endangered wisdom.'' One such cultural ark has already been built and it's a 14-page Christmas story from the pen of Richard Friedman in Cleveland, Ohio. In the title story, "A Climate Carol," based very closely on U.S. President Donald Trump's stubborn and selfish personality and his public denial of climate change, a narcissistic East Coast businessman and billionaire receives a visit on Christmas Eve from three Charles Dickens-like ghosts in a contemporary spin of that timeless classic from the 1840s "A Christmas Carol." Charles Dickens first published his now famous novella “A Christmas Carol” more than 170 years ago -- in 1843 — and that story has reverberated and resonated worldwide ever since. When I read it online a few days ago, I was blown away by both the author’s storytelling skills and the environmental eco-theme of the 14-page piece.Let me tell you a few things about this modern Dickensian-style story and how it fits into the world we live in today, where runaway global warming threatens to push human civilization into a dark corner we may never get out from. Your host, Rick Friedman will Chrome the climate hero and villain of the week. Along with discussing worldwide environmental issues, showcasing new products, designed with the longevity of our planet in mind and putting the spotlight on the individuals, making a big impact in helping the climate and pollution crisis through social media. Now, your host, Rick Friedman Santa Claus (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=Z6_n2S6VoG3OcCds0JKy9fwwIuskOetk2rCaULpcvn8AG07hc1maQ2Qmc9EYLE4EMx3Gb5lpcbE_f8aPVwYzwGnn7yM&loadFrom=DocumentDeeplink&ts=49.1 (00:49)): [inaudible] Rick (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=jZm9BM6oyb61jYqBSsfF9GUJGTyK1Aek8Cn1Ii8gnxxzyc0Drwww4zqHrGb0qAiZkrcxk4VdO_HKEPv-CjQl8SUANYo&loadFrom=DocumentDeeplink&ts=53.75 (00:53)): Pollution in Delhi. India is a major problem. The situation is aggravated by delhi's geography. The city is landlocked and it sits in a kind of a natural bowl surrounded by industrial and agricultural areas. There's no coastal breeze. So the pollution just hovers over the city to emissions from cars and trucks and even dust from the roadside contributes almost 80% of the particulate matter. That nasty 2.5 that we talk about and then to make it even worse. Once a year at harvest time farmers across the neighboring States set fire to their fields to clear them for the next season. That's known as stubble burning. I'll have more about that in a minute. Back to Delhi, the public works department installed 23 anti-smog guns throughout the city and 150 water tankers that sprinkle water on the trees, roads, and construction sites all over the city. This year, they've sprayed over 7 million liters of water. Rick (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=C9283TCp7hHvMImLAW7xbQR29n01zqSKE2tM6qAtAMYg0vx14we1kcSMcfimtMOyptKt0z5OjYQUHwthzKh1HE_copM&loadFrom=DocumentDeeplink&ts=109.46 (01:49)): We'll talk about a water shortage in India in a minute. So what are they doing? They're spraying water into the air, hoping that it sticks to some of the particulate matter and it falls to the ground like what rain does. Of course rain lowers the level of air pollution, but this is just a cheap attempt and a waste of time and money and resources fix the problem. Don't cover it up with a squirt gun, a big squirt gun, but still it's just spraying water. The best solution obviously would be to reduce the pollution at their source. Yeah, it'll be expensive to fix India's air pollution problem, just like anybody, but people are dying in huge numbers in India from air pollution in 2019 more than 1.5 million people died from air pollution. All right. So let's talk about stubble burning. I never even heard that phrase until last year. Rick... Support this podcast

I present the first annual Halloween doom and gloom tour, rising temperatures, melting, Arctic ice, drought, desertification, and other effects of climate change are not examples of future troubles. They are a reality today. During this episode, I'll speak to a few of the reasons we're facing a catastrophic future. The way a large segment of the population in the United States is facing the pandemic by avoiding wearing masks and not socially distancing is a good analogy to climate change. These people either don't believe anything, bad will happen to them, or it will happen to someone else or they believe what the current president tells them. He's giving them false hope and bad information, much like fossil fuel proponents seek to confuse deflect and deny. What is crystal clear? Fossil fuels are killing us toss in a gazillion pieces of plastic everywhere, including inside us. Rick (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=Cki7fdapEZAelnsI4mrL-ypoY3J1LmBAreJ1KaTQaahC5ZKLfKWCoGL2elzvVI_mss9JQKVxiauSittkryAq9dJT2co&loadFrom=DocumentDeeplink&ts=124.07 (02:04)): And we're in serious trouble. In the end, we see reports of non mask wearers, recording messages from a hospital facing death due to the virus, begging others, to listen to the experts, the scientists, and to protect themselves from a deadly foe climate change will be a more difficult opponent to beat. There's no vaccine for climate change and pollution, only hard decisions and a commitment to change how we heat and cool our homes, transport ourselves around the planet and how products we don't use anymore are slipping into streams, rivers, lakes, and oceans. Now your host, Rick Friedman, thanks Rick: (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=hOBHXHnDS9WVA7eqZfy6WEtmVnowbHym-cAzll_lx7KQdMgS0fMG99p7SHOFLgAkhXDUWPP5ANX8gK7k50lHftvifoY&loadFrom=PastedDeeplink&ts=38.63 (00:38)) Stuff for the intro, Steph. And we'll hear from you later at the end of the show today, we're going to switch things up a bit. Our lead story is also our climate hero of the week. So let's do this right

Speaker 1: (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=hOBHXHnDS9WVA7eqZfy6WEtmVnowbHym-cAzll_lx7KQdMgS0fMG99p7SHOFLgAkhXDUWPP5ANX8gK7k50lHftvifoY&loadFrom=PastedDeeplink&ts=49.88 (00:49)) It's time for the climate hero of the week.

Rick: (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=hOBHXHnDS9WVA7eqZfy6WEtmVnowbHym-cAzll_lx7KQdMgS0fMG99p7SHOFLgAkhXDUWPP5ANX8gK7k50lHftvifoY&loadFrom=PastedDeeplink&ts=56.72 (00:56)) Dutch vendor Boyan Slat founded the ocean cleanup at the age of 18 in his hometown of Delphi, the Netherlands, it all started when then 16 year old Boyan was diving in Greece and saw more plastic than fish. He devoted his high school science project to understanding the problem and research why cleanup was considered impossible. It became clear that a cleanup using vessels and nets would take thousands of years, cost tens of billions of dollars and harmful to sea life. There are five major plastic accumulation zones in the world where ocean currents converge. We learned about them when we featured Marcus Erickson and his company five gyres in episode 12, these accumulation zones are commonly called garbage patches. The majority of ocean plastic will not go away by itself, but instead it slowly breaks down into microplastic. Boyan came up with an idea to develop a passive concentration system.

Rick: (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=hOBHXHnDS9WVA7eqZfy6WEtmVnowbHym-cAzll_lx7KQdMgS0fMG99p7SHOFLgAkhXDUWPP5ANX8gK7k50lHftvifoY&loadFrom=PastedDeeplink&ts=108.2 (01:48)) Instead of going after the plastic, he lets the plastic come to him, led by slot. Now 26, the ocean cleanup is designing and developing cleanup systems to what is already polluting our oceans into intercept plastic on its way to the ocean via rivers. Speaking of rivers, slot belt, the interceptor, the interceptor is the first scalable solution to prevent plastic from entering the world's oceans. Coming from rivers, it is a hundred percent solar powered extracts plastic autonomously, and is... Support this podcast

Electricity isn't free. The energy department created something called the E-gallon to help people understand the cost of driving an electric car whats an Egallon? It represents the cost of fueling a vehicle with electricity compared to a similar vehicle that runs on gas. It's gives us a chance to compare the cost of driving an electric car with a similar sized car that uses gasoline. Right now, it's reasonable to say it would be about 50% less to charge your vehicle with electricity than to fill it up with gasoline. Now, this does not consider the peace of mind knowing that you're not contributing to poisoning the planet. That's gotta be worth something. It also does not include the cost of maintaining your electric car, which is about $800 a year, less than a traditional combustion engine with all its parts and wear and tear. Today. We keep the ocean at the top of the list with a few minutes to tell you about another organization working around the clock to remove plastic from the ocean, Alex Schultz and Andrew Cooper founded for ocean. In 2017, the company sells merchandise made mostly from recycled materials. I bought one of their bracelets last year. The company uses a portion of the profits to remove one pound of trash from the ocean and coastlines for each bracelet that is sold. The company has developed cleanup operations in Indonesia, Haiti, Florida, and Guatemala. After becoming friends in college, Alex and Andrew saved up their money for a surfing trip in Bali. When I think of Bali, I think a beautiful weather friendly people and pristine beaches that might've been true in the seventies, but unfortunately there are a few beaches that inspire that image today when Alex and Andrew arrived in Bali, they found a beach that was completely covered in plastic with trash filled waves, delivering more garbage each time the tide rolled in, they vowed on the spot to try to do something about it. Deforestation is the clearing, destroying, or removal of trees through deliberate, natural or accidental means. It occurs in any area densely populated by trees and other plant life, but most of it is happening in the Amazon rain forest. I remember going to the Cleveland zoo and seeing the display showing deforestation. There was the sound of buzz saws zipping through trees above it. There was a running total of acreage lost. It's like a horrible scoreboard of forest con forever. Rick: (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=YgQrZdSymDLBxlTt8HjwoewRsIGuXWDiELrGI8jjQmuSo4KSb4oSGq0hnUfZIabGaRG3iUxfPsernz49BRpW3Y6Xv9I&loadFrom=PastedDeeplink&ts=68.24 (01:08)) Part of the problem is that we're converting more land to agriculture than ever before. There's more people on the planet they need to eat. Once a forest has lost agriculture, it's usually gone forever along with the plants and animals that once lived there. Billions of acres of forest are destroyed by fire. Fire is often used as a way to clear land for planting crops. Do you remember dr Seuss, his book, the Lorax? Think about the Brown Barbara Lutes and the Swami swamps and the humming fish that flood the forest for two reasons. One, they had to get away from the pollution. Dr Seuss called the pollution gloppity Support this podcast

Art Schapps owns a dairy farm with 4,000 milking cows in 2018 air force officials tested his well water and found a sky high level of toxic chemicals. Call it P F. A. S. 12 of his 40 Wells on his farm are contaminated. Those chemicals can cause cancer, low birth weights and immune system deficiencies. PFAS are called forever chemicals because they never break down. You'll hear more about them later in the show. PFAS is a key component in firefighting. Foam used in training exercises at air force bases around the country where they seep into groundwater supplies. The Pentagon admitted this as a problem at over 400 basis. Schapps cattle were contaminated. Now he's out of business, couldn't sell his milk or his cows. He was once one of the nation's top 25 dairy producers and now his business is worthless.

So what did the government do for the last two years to help out our buddy art? They provided him with bottled water. Wow, thanks a lot guys. More plastic. The government refuse to install expensive filters that would have made his Wells usable again or compensated him for his losses. Faced with that other option, Schapps sued just like you and I would do. He tried to get the air force to clean up the mess. The government is claiming... Support this podcast

In 1969 he witnessed the remains of a massive oil spill in California that got him thinking about how he could tap into the power of the antiwar protests and bring that to environmental action. It worked. Nelson received the presidential medal of freedom award in 1995 as a tribute for his efforts. Another Republican Congressman, Pete McCloskey, convinced the 25 year old man named Dennis Hayes from Harvard to run the first earth day after the success of the first earth day. Hayes founded earth day network and helped expand the earth day network to more than 180 countries and was named hero of the planet by time magazine. In 1999 the founders chose April 22nd for earth day because it fell between spring break and final exams for college students. Rick: (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=gWljQa7gMC2PJ0a3ZIFZowzo9bjyHGBZnCpyN7bH6KEEUPI96D7YabaiTjkC051jyXdPVUvA7ncItHVR8oOmCo7RZqE&loadFrom=PastedDeeplink&ts=127.17 (02:07)) 20 million Americans participated in that first earth day. 20 million people. Very tremendous success. The biggest crowds ever. Sorry, I couldn't resist poking fun of he who shall not be named. The first earth day led to the creation of the United States environmental protection agency in the passage of the clean air, clean water and endangered species act. That was a pretty good year for the planet. What's so odd about the first earth day is that it received support from Republicans and Democrats. So what happened to the GOP? Why do they treat climate change like it doesn't exist? Money, money from donors urging them to stay the course to keep oil and gas, profits high, no matter the cost to the planet or our health. Everybody's talking about washing your hands. Ignaz Semmelweis was born in 1818 and died in 1865 was a doctor in Vienna in the 18 hundreds he wondered why many women were dying of child bed fever after 1823 the mortality rate at the hospital that he worked at was as high as 9.2% and higher for women of poverty, illegitimacy and other complications.

Now, your host Rick Friedman, The biggest political football this year is fracking. Hydraulic fracking is the process of extracting natural gas from rocks in the earth by breaking them apart. chemicals are pumped into a targeted area and after the rocks are broken, gas is released up through a pipe and shipped off in a truck to whatever plant wants it. One of the many problems with fracking is that methane gas escapes during the mining process, polluted flow back water may get injected into a deep storage well recycled or sent to a treatment plant. fracking fluid is forced to underground at high pressure and toxic chemicals seep into the bedrock. The toxins in the bedrock seep into the drinking water aquifers and contaminate the water from the aquifers that enter the drinking water systems. That's gross. Natural gas from fracking produces the same amount of energy as carbon dioxide, but only admits half the emissions. That sounds like a good thing. Well, it is in some aspects, but it's not perfect because methane is a powerful greenhouse gas more powerful in carbon dioxide, and methane enters the atmosphere. It doesn't stay in there a long time. Only 20% of the methane emitted today will still be in the atmosphere after 20 years. However, when it first enters the atmosphere, it's about 120 times more powerful than carbon dioxide at trapping heat. And scientists say 86 times stronger over a 20 year period. The oil and gas industry has been expanding fracking for decades. The industry won't disclose the ingredients used in fracking keep that a secret? That doesn't seem fair. What are they hiding? Can't be good. If I made a food product, the FDA would insist on knowing everything in it before it ever had a store shelf. Fracking companies can put whatever they want in the ground, our ground and nobody questions them. millions of gallons of water are used in the fracking process, which reduces the amount of clean water available to surrounding residents. When water is not available to fracking sites locally. They may get it from other regions and transport it to where they need it. Ultimately drawing down the water from lakes and rivers across the country. Imagine if someone said hey Cleveland, we're going to take your water and ship it to Baltimore for Support this podcast

Now your host, Rick Friedman. Hi and welcome to episode three. I was going to talk about fracking on this episode, but there's a special event in progress and I wanted to make sure you knew about it while it was still going on. Fracking will be the featured segment on the next show. Instead, this episode is about the great nurdle hunt. When I was a kid, we had scavenger hunts. Last year many kids played Pokemon go searching neighborhoods for Pokemon. What other things can you search for? Rick (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=Kb4302waSb8Pk3NR7b-yi5VUXPFpKTZ1-egitJmUw2q9_454BhZltkUMN098Y0aFMg5XQ0CJUSz7Xt-5KO9EZid3URE&loadFrom=DocumentDeeplink&ts=66.56 (01:06)): Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick. Time's up. Did any of you say a nurdle? A nurdle? What's a nurdle. Nurdles are small plastic pellets. That's the raw material used to make items out of plastic. The nurdles are melted and formed to make the desired product. Nurdles are small. They're less than five millimeters in size about the size of a lentil. They start out small and over time they fragment into smaller particles and they take hundreds to thousands of years to degrade and disappear. These little pieces of plastic can be mistaken for food by smaller animals lower down on the food chain. Even tiny animals like plankton, once they eat them, microscopic plastic particles can pass straight into an animal's bloodstream and get stuck in their tissues. Unlike larger pieces of plastic, there is no practical way of removing these nurdles from the sea. This is why we need to stop nurdle pollution at the source. Rick (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=6H2RVXJBMMYv3EzT7DwQx29hrocA03t6D0wQkhCVF4htupwaGMn_RaMGslyrSLMX35hwNkfcvSnlYgbwlE4RisYUl8M&loadFrom=DocumentDeeplink&ts=118.01 (01:58)): How do they get there? Accidental spills can happen wherever nurdles are handled or transported. This happens during production or during transportation or on the way to the manufacturers of plastic products and then again when the goods are recycled back into nurdles, they're so small light and most of them float in water and they're easily blown around or washed up into drains. Nurdles can find their way into storm drains and carried out to sea. Once they're in the sea, they spread quickly and widely, and as a result, you can find them pretty much anywhere from the... Now your host, Rick Friedman. Rick: (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=-EX8M7NDgjSiqU517XW_01_vI_9aPT9VPc3Q9Hf7E3mDvuNJvpLPMCV0P59IBf6-l3DuP9AONl6yTJHIu75uNz4Kpbs&loadFrom=PastedDeeplink&ts=39.41 (00:39)) Hi and welcome to episode two. There's a lot of talk about wind power. Let's look at some of the facts. Here's the good news. The cost of wind energy keeps falling. Business is growing and putting people to work. Cities around the world are looking at the benefits of wind power, finding them hard to ignore. Wind energy produces no emissions, no pollution. It's clean and it's an unlimited resource. For farmers. The wind, a wind farm gives them a new crop to sell. Rick: (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=-EX8M7NDgjSiqU517XW_01_vI_9aPT9VPc3Q9Hf7E3mDvuNJvpLPMCV0P59IBf6-l3DuP9AONl6yTJHIu75uNz4Kpbs&loadFrom=PastedDeeplink&ts=67.67 (01:07)) Here's kind of a short version of how it works. Each land owner who allows a turbine on their field receives three to $7,000 a year for each turbine. Wind farms usually consist of somewhere between 50 and a hundred turbines. They're all connected by buried wires that link them up to a central transmission. The turbines are mounted on a high metal tower. You've all seen that. The turbines are run in offset lines, so they're not lined up directly in a row. They skipped some space about a half a mile apart, so they don't steal each other's wind. Farmers grow crops, animals can graze underneath the turbines while they're humming along. Wind energy went from a little over 2% of the United States electricity mix in 2010 to almost 7% last year. It's also one of the cheapest ways to produce energy. Now it's even less than natural gas. Why are farmers turning to wind? A lot of them have gone bankrupt. Rick: (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=-EX8M7NDgjSiqU517XW_01_vI_9aPT9VPc3Q9Hf7E3mDvuNJvpLPMCV0P59IBf6-l3DuP9AONl6yTJHIu75uNz4Kpbs&loadFrom=PastedDeeplink&ts=119.99 (01:59)) The bankruptcy rates in 2019 jump 20% for farmers. It's an eight year high. The trade war didn't help, The low prices for commodity crops and unpredictable weather. Those are all factors that affect farmers. One farmer in Iowa said "wind is just another crop." Another opportunity to capture resources. This is a tough energy problem for Republicans to deal with because 90% of the wind farms are... Your host Rick Friedman, will crown the climate hero and villain of the week along with discussing worldwide environmental issues, showcasing new products designed with the longevity of our planet in mind and putting the spotlight on the individuals making a big impact in helping the climate and pollution crisis through social media. Now your host, Rick Friedman, Rick: (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=USOowldYUA5OR_QWlYEtgPAGabjKyYX9jyAScppaj7p-zpuLkQXnlvn4t5J8oRGhhmlaRmoI9Zfi74JStBQ5uqrYS3Y&loadFrom=PastedDeeplink&ts=39.47 (00:39)) PM 2.5 and air pollution. Why is it killing us? The PM stands for particulate matter and you've probably heard of that over the years on your local newscast. The source of it comes mainly from coal and cars. When we burn coal, it releases CO2 and cars, Of course when they burn gasoline and diesel, they spew that into the air as well. 2.5 represents the size of the particular matter. 2.5 micro meters is 30 times smaller than the diameter of a human hair. Rick: (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=USOowldYUA5OR_QWlYEtgPAGabjKyYX9jyAScppaj7p-zpuLkQXnlvn4t5J8oRGhhmlaRmoI9Zfi74JStBQ5uqrYS3Y&loadFrom=PastedDeeplink&ts=74.45 (01:14)) Particulate penetrates deep into our lungs, which causes heart and lung ailments. If exposed to these things for a long time. How do we know PM 2.5 levels affect us? There's a chart and you can go to world air quality index w a Q I. Dot info. You can pull up a map of anywhere in the world and it'll show the current levels of PM 2.5 PM 10 and other hazards in the air. There's also a chart of six different levels from zero to a hundred little or no risk. Then it goes up from one Oh one to 200 or the air quality is acceptable for the general population, but moderate for people with health concerns from two Oh one to 300 the likelihood of respiratory problems in sensitive individuals and children and the elderly are at risk from three Oh one to 400 triggers a health concern for most people and especially from 400 or above. Rick: (https://www.rev.com/transcript-editor/Edit?token=USOowldYUA5OR_QWlYEtgPAGabjKyYX9jyAScppaj7p-zpuLkQXnlvn4t5J8oRGhhmlaRmoI9Zfi74JStBQ5uqrYS3Y&loadFrom=PastedDeeplink&ts=133.46 (02:13)) Pretty much stay inside. Don't go outside. How about the air in the United States in 2018 over 157 million people experienced at least 31 days of elevated 2.5 or PM 10 in Pittsburgh, they suffered 90 days of unhealthy air. What are countries doing to clean the air? Many cities in Europe prevent vehicles from entering the city during restricted hours. Barcelona, Milan, Rome, Venice, London. Among them in France, every car must get a sticker and put that on their rear window. The sticker is based on how much pollution the car emits, allowing cleaner cars, access to certain parts of the city. Let me think about this for a second. How many famous towers can I name? There's the Eiffel tower. There's the leaning tower of PISA. The CN tower, the space needle. It's not technically a tower, but it is a tower. That's just to name a few.
