On the surface, 'To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar' (1995) might seem like a gimmick; cast three manly men (Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes, and John Leguizamo) and have them act outrageous as a trio of drag queens on a road trip. This movie becomes so much more than that thanks to it's contagious positive message and three fantastic performances from the three leads.

There's no denying that director Yorgos Lanthimos's style is an acquired taste. Even 'The Lobster', probably his best and most accessible movie, will only appeal to a specific audience. Dreamscape can only be defined as.. interesting. The movie, that literally none of us had heard of before, takes us on a trip through the most 80s film ever. Complete with awful CG and music that is unforgettable. When scientists learn how to hack into someone's brain to help with problems, of course there is a somebody who is going to use it for EVIL. Check out this episode to get the full scoop on Dreamscape!

It's our 100th episode!! We decided to pick an oldie but goodie for this one! Don't let me ruin the review for you, check it out yourself!

While Foster clearly shines in this role (because many others weren't good), parts of this film left our reviewers with mixed feelings. Things get heated in this episode! Check it out!

Off a suspension of sorts (we totally break this down) Mel Gibson is back and more badass than ever in Blood Father. So of course we reviewed it. With at least one actor worse than those in Independence Day: Resurgence, Blood Father makes a return to the simple yet badass action flick. The reviewers at NBRR&M dive deep into the father of bloods, and break down this flick piece by piece! Also, a brand new "Gem-Of-The-For-Now."

In what we can only describe as a solidly bad film, Independence Day: Resurgence makes bad films look good. Starring much of the cast from the first film, this blockbuster is a trainwreck from the start, and we love it. With mediocre special effects, at best sub-par acting, and the most exposition ever, this movie is a turdfest. You definitely NEED TO check this episode out to hear how bad. Spoiler: It may or may not have received one of the lowest scores to date.

I'm not sure of many things, but one thing I know for sure is that if I were five years-old again, I'd want Adam Sandler to pretend to be my dad. If you haven't guessed already, we review the movie Big Daddy in this episode! Starring Adam Sandler and pretty much everyone else that is regularly in his films, this movie provides a more serious role for Sandler while still giving you all his childish humor. You don't want to miss this!

If you haven't heard of Sharknado, you must be living under a rock. This week we dig into the super-cheesy over-the-top shark-infested film that provides more bad CGI than one could ever hope for. This hot mess of a film was written by a man named Thunder, and stars only one recognizable face in Tara Reid. THUNDER. His name is Thunder; I'll let that sink in for a moment. Anyways, check out this episode for a million reasons why you shouldn't watch this, and a million and a half reasons why you totally should.

If you don't know yet, 21 Jump Street is the epitome of taking something from the 80s and rehashing it with a twist. This TV drama turned action-comedy movie stars Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, alongside Dave Franco, Rob Riggle, and Brie Larson and a bunch of other well-known faces. With just enough meta humor and over the top jokes, a few of our reviewers thought this was worth the watch, while others thought it wasn't worth the time! In all honesty does this movie even need a little synopsis or description? I think the title makes it pretty self-explanatory. In any case, this week we reviewed the world's newest super-hero film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In this DC universe, Batman is pitted against Superman by the evil Lex Luthor. They end up uniting (in probably the cheesiest fashion ever) to take down Doomsday and Luthor. Be sure to listen in and find out what we liked and hated about this Zach Snyder masterpiece.

This week we tackle the hip-hop and rap biopic, Straight Outta Compton. The film stars relative-nobodies and is about the godfathers of gangster rap, NWA. The polarizing group - which included by Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and Eazy-E among others - rose to fame throughout the 80s and 90s rapping about their struggles and life growing up in the hood. This film does an excellent job capturing that feeling, and tells their story! Tune in to see what made us like this film so much!

Damn NBRR&M, back at it again with another viewer request! This week we bring you a review of Bridge of Spies. The film is carried by Tom Hanks and Mark Rylance, and is about the exchange of a captured Soviet spy for the US U2 spy-plane pilot that was caught behind enemy lines during the Cold War. We don't want to spoil this from the start, but we want to clear the air and say that this movie has considerably less bridges built out of spies than we first anticipated. Bummer. Additionally, it is important to note that Rylance won the 2016 Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for this role.
