How Do We Break The Habit Of Excessive Thinking?
Do you ever go to bed with excitement & find it hard to sleep?
You lay there and think about some really great ideas for you/business.
I learned to write these ideas down or record them so that way I could relax enough to fall asleep.
The next morning you wake from sleep with all intentions to start working on your list and I know I didn't mention the list but talked about it in a few episodes.
The to do list is comprised of your activities you must complete before everything.
Briefly,

You know over the years many people I talked to said they always did thing like the lone ranger and not until they joined a community/team, found out they weren't alone in those problems.
Listen us humans are very predictable in our behaviors and how we react to situations.
We don't become successful, smart, or wise out of the blue.
We don't wake up and understand calculus or jump in a car for the first time and ace the 3 point parking turn, well maybe some people can.
The rest of us need to learn traits and what we are exposed to molds us as we mature into adults.
Get over all your problems by from how you are and lets work on what you want to be.
I know not as easy as it sounds but it really is if you want thing so bad that your willing to trust someone who has been through just about it all.
The key is to work on one thing at a time.
Make a list of the things you would like to change, let say 5 things and find someone with experience in that issue, one at a time and ask for guidance.

Don't Think Email Marketing Is Dead As A Zombie! What are your thoughts on email marketing & do you still write everyday?
That's sort of a statement & a question because if you listen to popular talk in our business of online money making ideas, coaching, and education you probably heard its old out dated and just doesn't work anymore.

I might agree to so some extent that's true.
So should you run off and start a new method to gain new leads or move your email subscribers over to Facebook or something like that.
No, Ill tell you why!
Social media has changed the future on how we connect with friends and new customer yet there is still a place for email.
The email platform serves us just like it has in the past but offers a more in-depth or personal experience with people that a simple text message or messenger bot can't.
The reason I wanted to talk about email is because everyone won’t stop using it the 30+ crowed might use both but that’s right in the middle of the target market age range.
The funny thing with all these different up and coming technologies like sms text messages, blue tooth proximity advertising and messenger bots it a step backwards if you look at it.
Besides the blue tooth technology which isn’t new itself we are texting very short messages with characters, emogies, and images like this is a new form of awesome technology.

Hey the Egyptians used picture called hieroglyphs so what does this mean for all this so called new technology.
They work for quick to the point communications but the people on the receiving end need to have some idea about what it is you are saying or the whole (short message) gets lost in translation if you are following me.
That's why you need to be sending to your target market who lets say have an interest in the blue widget.
If you’re not doing this, that could explain a lot about your results, either through email or all the other methods like Facebook live videos, you tube, etc.
I'm not going to go into target market because you can check that out later.
If you have noticed a decline in your email marketing efforts get in touch with me, comment below about your email marketing.
There's something called your online finger print and its just a way to identify you as the email sender to make thing simple ok.
If your list is large lets say 5000 subscribers and out of those 2.5% open your email, well that’s not good.
Now imaging if you just keep sending to all those the 5000 day in and day out right.
What that does with the different email providers is it throws up a flag and they don't deliver your email.
Like I said earlier to keep it simple the service providers look at the 97.5% who didn't open as spam sort of.
There is a way to fix your reputation (email rep) so don't be discouraged.

The best way to fix your list is to segment the openers in to a separate list with tags and keep them happy while the no openers maybe send once a week or less.
Do some research on you tube because everyone has little tweaks and tips on how to do this 100 different ways that all work in different circumstances.

You know what I'm talking about cause once you see an ad then click on it, let’s say for Target that has Christmas deals for black Friday, you will notice Target ads everywhere you go on the internet.

After awhile that ad from target will blend into the web page and you won't even know it's there anymore.

Today I wanted to do a week in review type format for the Saturday Night syndication for a change.
OK so this week we discussed the fact that email marketing isn't dead contrary to what the word on the net might be talking about.
Let me explain because I know you hear something different from every leader who in some form is successful in their internet business.

Keep using your email marketing to stay in contact with your subscribers.
Example is when you advertise, send solo ads, or buy leads you need to make sure to inform your new subscriber with the first welcome message when they sign up to white list your email.

What can you do better when it comes to your Facebook advertising.
How about, we start with a simple post on Face book.
The largest issue I see everyday on Facebook is people posting about their new business or opportunity on their personal profile page.
I get it you might not know there's even a business part to Facebook & that's OK.
The first thing you should do is create a Facebook Fan page/biz page same thing.

If you don't know how look up at the blue tool bar where you see HOME & far right is a down arrow.
You will see create page there click and follow instruction.
I'm not going to walk you through that because Face book’s help is awesome with more that enough information.
A good rule of thumb is to use your personal profile to create intrigue, mystery if you will about the life style you are living because of you're success in business.
Never promote or link to an affiliate site in either Facebook personal or fan page!
Why, what am I suppose to do.
The post should create curiosity for the reader to click to maybe your blog or a company’s blog that explains more about the post.
Get creative, send the person to a hash tag you created or to a you tube video about the proper way to post on you tube with out getting your account banned!
There's just no end to how creative you can get with every social media platform.
A good rule of thumb to follow.
1) Create sharp images with little text 2) Tell an incomplete story on what you are excited about to create curiosity to click the learn more button or link. 3) Always be truth full but a little fluff goes a long way. 4) We all hate junk mail & so does Facebook so don't spam.
A great example of fluff is the fast food commercials.
Yea the Big Mac really looks like that when you open the package.

"What Does It Take To Be A Business Today Online?" I discussed a simple formula well a method actually by writing down every thing you do in a day.

OK if you did your homework you should have a sheet filled out with activities and time it took to accomplish that activity.
The purpose for the time sheet is so you can now:
Review each task you do from first light to bed time and decide if you can either rearrange the order of the activity or do it completely different.

You probably heard the term time management 100 times before and really never paid mind to it.
I might be talking about time management but this stage isn't where you block out time & dates in a scheduler.
This training is more geared towards getting you organized to stream line your time more effectively.
Now take your time when writing out your day/weeks complete activity list.
I suggest sitting down with your family, have seven sheets of paper, one for each day of the week and completely fill out every activity for each day.
You should by now start to see the bigger picture of what a week in your life looks like.
This was really exciting when I did my week and gave me a whole new out look on life.
Once you have a whole month charted out for the most part these activities won't change although you will have the seasonal, emergency, and at the moment situations arise you should be set.

A couple things to remember as you modify your daily schedule; you will find simpler ways to do tasks while other activities become less important in occupying your time.
Never create a situation where it's all work and no play because that defeats the whole reason to do a time planner.

I was wondering just by the statement I read just a minute ago do you know the difference.
You should know there is a huge difference and I believe this is where the total disconnect comes into play.
The fact that something excited you about creating an online business is awesome but when you see the leaders and how professional everything looks it starts to look impossible!

What's happening is your mind is trying to talk you out of a process before you have all the information to even figure thing out.

Supply and demand.
Take a look at what you might want to sell or offer as a service to people.
Where do these people exist or hang out.
What method will you use to gain their attention?
Example: send a printed ad in the mail, use radio, tv, internet, trade shows, call them etc.
One thing for sure there isn't a shortage of methods to get exposure.

Over the next three days I want to discuss what it actually means to be in business for you!
Do you like the job you have right now and do you enjoy getting up every morning for that job?
A relatively easy question but the sad truth is most people can't stand something about their job, boss, or co workers.
I guess the only thing left is to keep moving from job to job until you find one you're happy with.
No, that's not the answer because it's just a temporary calm until everyone's true colors show through.

You know life isn't all fun & games, so we half to learn ways to get along with people we dislike.
With that said, do any of these situations sound familiar or maybe you're dealing with this type of work environment now.
Trust me I know all about working in a stressful environment and its never fun.
Now let’s look at how you will find the time and sanity to start a home based business.
Today I want to give a smart out look to the time we have in a day because we all have 24 hours and we waist a bunch of it.
Get a small note pad or use a text app on your phone but in my opinion use the paper method it's faster.

Start with your morning for example and write down the time you get up and all the activities you do before heading out the door to work.
Make a time record of your entire day.
1) Morning- each activity and time it takes. example: Wake at 6am make coffee get cloths ready for shower. 15 min
2) Shower and personal hygiene 20 min
3) Make lunch while drinking coffee, refill coffee get into car off for work. 15 min.

Now do this for the entire day, for every activity but you can exclude you job work unless you can do other activities while at work. See how much time you actually use when on your breaks and lunch.
I remember when I worked a job, management wanted us to take one hour for lunch when the policy was 1/2 hour for lunch and two 15 minute breaks( state law actually).
That one really pissed me off because unless you needed to buy something’s to save you the trip while going home, it only took 10-15 minutes to eat.
As you can see from these examples there is a bunch of time we can utilize to our advantage.
Your home work will consist of recording one of your typical days.
Start/stop activities.
Time involved with those activities.
Don't forget inactive times, travel between work & home, time at the gym, reading a book, and everything.

Tip: you can use a roll of white art paper available at art stores and tape it to the wall length wise with blue painters tape.

I'd like to discuss a few practices you should be doing every day after you're to do list is finished.
I remember years ago there was a time when I would try to do everything myself because it was such a hassle to stop my momentum and explain things to a new person.
I'm sure you know the feeling and have went through the same deal at work to some degree.
The company you work for hires a new employee and sends him your way to train him, what!
Or your the new person and get stuck with a complete ass hole that's reluctant to teach you out of fear he might be exposed for the fraud he is.
I still to this day wonder how some of these companies maintain any order with their brand promise to the customers when you have idiots with no clue or care about the company they work for! How does what I just talked about have anything to do with my online business?
Good question because now you are the company and the person responsible for keeping accurate information flowing to your team.
I want to keep this simple and make it easy to duplicate even for the beginner.

Where do you start and how can you get organized setting up a daily to do list.
This is what i would do to get started:
1) Write down all the companies you are an affiliate for or any offers you might have.
2) What support do you have with these companies
3) How do you or plan to advertise (free or paid)?
4) What apps like auto responders, landing page creators, etc.or social media account do you currently have and which one (s) do you plan on or are using for your business.
5) Where are you getting training in person or step by step from.
Now support is different from the last question number 5 because most companies have a help section with the most popular issues people have.
This list in my opinion while some what vague should be enough to create a nice account of what your current business looks like.
I've been in business long enough to know if these five questions can't be answered roughly in 20 minutes then we need to talk.
Don't stress if you are new or even if you can't answer some of the questions because you might not know if you have these thing inside some companies your affiliated with.

First off what are targeted people?
- People who have a need or problem to solve
Seams Simple, nothing hard right?
These people have an issue they need to solve what ever that is and your goal is to provide the answer(s) to solve their problem.
Again nothing complicated and nothing we don't deal with everyday of our lives, right?
Everyone has problems, tasks, or a job that they accomplish in any given day and through training, school, or hands on become a fixer of OPP.

The reason I wanted to talk about problem solving first with a real world situation because it's easier to relate with the concept of a lead-magnet if looked at in a different manor.

Well a lead-magnet is a word used to attract people to a informative guide, a PDF, video training, or a face to face talk on Skype to prequalify the lead.
At its core the purpose of a lead magnet is like a sample of the work, service, or physical product that will provide a type of training or tips to assist with their (you’re) problem.
You might have noticed that i didn't use the word resolve the problem, that's right because the lead magnets intent is to demonstrate to your new subscriber that you have the answers they need and now know they can expect further messages from you.

Think about the company Apple and their stores for a moment!
Have you ever gone into an Apple store with the intent to just browse at the latest iPhone and walk out with one?

Over the last few months I've been following a shift in the usages of different social sites.
This isn't something new, rather a trend or maybe a spell!
No I think it's simpler than that. You see with the mental break down of our society of self motivated thinkers into self doubting non decision making drones, one would think when, where, and how did people start going backwards.
Yea sound harsh but if you really stop to look around and examine your environment you'll see most people can't figure out what flavor of ice-cream they want.

I am very sure you have and still use Facebook.
You might use it for family stuff Or You might use it for your pottery club with a pottery group! Or You created a couple Facebook fan page business page to sell your custom pottery and pottery classes.
For the most part the change in the type of audience in Facebook most likely wont affect our business here’s why.
Let say you do gaming walk through which is screen sharing you playing a video game like Half-Life an older game but really changed the video game industry with the half-life engine.
OK I use to play half-Life and a couple others and did this exact thing.
I mean you could sell action figures or reviews on the latest gaming tech.
If your following me here, let say my audience was teen's 12-17 and I had a group on Facebook or just a fan page.
This statistic could change by Friday but what's been happening to younger viewers is the younger generation 12-17 & 18-24 are more apt to move over to Instagram and snap chat because they will follow the action crowed).
So if this was your audience good news!
The cool fact is Facebook owns Instagram so are your not really loosing anything considering your target market should be 35 and up when it comes to online marketing.
Yet on the other hand more and more younger people 12-17 have the world at their disposal if they wanted to start a business, they could find everything needed and more to research.
Now Young adults 18-24 is that "I don't know what the hell I'm going to do stage" are not out of the picture either since no matter what age you are there's always that couple exceptions.
The take away here is the importance of creating your subscribers and knowing the trends in which these young and old people alike flow to.

Time have change so much in the past five years with technology where you can do anything just about anywhere.
I have good new, maybe you can still watch your 70 inch TV after all. No not will & Grace or a movie for that fact.
Why don't you just change the content like you tube and not for cat videos but some training like some of my videos, as an example.

A new book you ordered off Amazon like The be happy attitude. -Or- A digital product launch of a product. -Or- A cool new app which makes Facebook messenger more useful.
The sad fact is once the dopamine rush dissipates with whatever excited you in the first place are you back at square one.
The answer is no, I'd like to think if that book you were reading was learning and improving ways to think more positively will make an impact.

Habits are a struggle to change if you believe there is a struggle.
Liking a pair of Nike shoes the best in comfortability for running!
Great statement or is it a preference but really, did you try any others to determine their comfortablity or is it just that all the cool kids wear NIKE!!
Change is never easy after years of inside and outside influences, negative self talk, family values, religion and your 5 closest friends. Friends either Good or usually bad which might be your:(outside influence).
This one inside influence is almost always the one we have the most problems with and that’s our parents.
Why? our parent are the only people we have the most exposure to during our developmental stage in life.
Improving who we are takes a desire yet so often we convince our own mind (self) that were not smart enough, tall enough or just not pretty enough to achieve personal success.
