There have been many instances throughout history when people were brought undre the rulership of another country or king and taken advantage of unfairly. In this episode we discuss how God delivers the poor and needy from bondage. Poor and needy refers to anyone that is in bondage to another. God will deal with anyone who oppresses the poor and needy very harshly. We will see how he has rescued the ppor and needy, including the ancient Israelites time and time again. Bondage can be anything from unfair banking fees to receiving little pay from a good, hard, honest day of work.

Matthew 9:14-17 (also Mark 2:18-22; Luke 5:33-39) Jesus teaches us to follow his doctrines which contain the truth. Many of us are deceived into believing falsehoods which some false teachers are teaching. We must know the difference.

Luke14:16-24 - This parable explains why souls who are perishing do not come to Christ when they are called. It would seem that those who are living a life of destruction would want to come to Christ for the salvation of their souls, but many do not come.
This is a continuation of the previous days lesson with a discussion on the meaning of the parable. The firt lesson lays out the facts and the laws regarding the Levites and the priests. This second lesson is a discussion of this parable which so angered the lawyers, that it led to the crucifixion of Jesus.

With his commands, God gave specific instructions on how he would prosper the Israelites. The commands were given because of the problem with widows an orphans in the communities. God also wanted to bless the people for following his commandments.
