Robert has hundreds of boards on display in his home museum, a temporary home for the collection until a proper brick and mortar location is built. He welcomed Dano to his museum in March 2021 for a full tour and to talk about the history of the sport.

Larry Meddock Part One: Back in March, Dano the Mano won the Larry Meddock Award at the WSIA Summit Leadership Award Dinner. Now, Larry joins Dano on episode 99 of The Golden Mic Podcast. The two discuss how Meddock got into the industry and his role in facilitating skiers and boats for the feature film Freaky Friday. Meddock, who organized the Masters for many years, also discusses some of the speed bumps he encountered during events, including a boycott of skiers before one of the sport's biggest contests, near tragedy at Sea World and a cheating doctor who would go to any length to win.
Episode 98 of The Golden Mic Podcast is possibly the most anticipated Event-Cast ever, featuring audio interviews and commentary from the 2018 Feet on Fire South, which took place on May 23rd in Orlando, Florida at the Waterfront Restaurant on Lake Jennie Jewel. Some of the biggest names in towed watersports came to compete or watch as competitors took to the warm central Florida waters in hopes of capturing one of the most sought-after titles in wakeboarding: the Feet on Fire Endurance Barefoot Champion. The contest is a 32-man, head-to-head single-elimination tournament where athletes compete to see who can stay on their feet the longest, while the boat drives in counter-clockwise circles at 42.5 mph. Pro wakeboarder JD Webb made history becoming the first ever three-time Feet on Fire champion.
Finally, the greatest of all time...the true living legend, many time barefoot World Champion, X Games gold medalist and Hall of Famer, the Raging Bull--Ron Scarpa--sits down with Dano on The Golden Mic Podcast for Ron's first interview in over a decade. Sean was on hand as Chief Judge, and the two discussed O’Brien’s less than orthodox look at the sport. Johnny Stieg joins Dano the Mano on episode 77 of the Golden Mic Podcast. Johnny is the first Wake Surf specific guest on the GMP. Stieg rides for the Axis boat brand and was one of the industries first boat-sponsored surf athletes. His signature style comes from his ocean surf background as well as his love for a broad variety of action sports, including moto and jet ski stunting. Grubb has had a long career as a pro wakeskater but his roots firmly grew out of various forms of towed water sports. We talk about his entire career, from commencement to present day. Shortly before Grubb met with me, he was across the globe in Bosnia wakeskating through frozen water and some sick natural features. Grubb left Orlando the following day to shoot some obscure spot in sunny southern Florida....and just since we recorded, he released a new video featuring some serious shredding in freezing water, near Cape Cod on the Atlantic. Not only is he "livin' the dream" but, hands-down, Brian Grubb is for sure one of the sports best ambassadors and hardest working guys out there.

He has retired from riding but has come back to prove (that just like fine wine) even wakeboarders get better with age. He is a co-founder of the CTRL Wakeboard brand, and his riding continues to progress with every set out at Area 52, a little wakeboard haven built by Kevin Henshaw.
