You will hear it said in church. "God is good." "God is able." But what does that mean for someone who believes in Jesus? Can you believe that a good God allows or promotes sickness, poverty, disaster and trajedy? If God is good, why are Christians still not seeing the benefits of his goodness? I continue a series on Ephesians 3:20 in order to answer these questions and that you might see that God's goodness is not being withheld, but is fully available... not in the "sweet by and by" but for the right here and now.

On day 2 of the Men's Conference I spoke of being led by the Spirit and filled with the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our comfort and our guide. So why has talk about it been so uncomfortable and confusing for Christians? I take a new perspective on what it means to be filled with the Spirit and why, (that the love of God might flow through us and bless others!) NOTE: The audio on this is not ideal. (That is the last time I will place my recorder in a fixed position!)
When the storms of life come blowing in, it takes faith to obey Jesus' command to "abide in him". So how can we "bear fruit" like he commands in John 15:1-4 when everyone else is in a panic in the storm? This message was recorded at the LWM Men's Retreat.
