I want you to know that people will play a crucial part in your journey towards destiny fulfillment. You need to learn how to identify the right people and let them play their role in your life.
Let me share with you some of the destiny helpers that God has brought my way. Now, I'm going to name five of them. This list is not exhaustive by any means. I'm just going to mention them in the order in which they came in my life. I'm not even indicating that one is more important in my life than the other. Let me start, the first person I would really like to talk about is my big brother, Tayo Adabale. Why? Because he inspired me and he showed me to be a gentleman. I wanted to become a Christian. Why? Because Tayo was a Christian.
Guess what? Tayo took me to this service in which I gave my life to Christ. He was a destiny helper indeed. I learned from Tayo that it is very, very important that the eldest child of a family should be a positive example. The second destiny help I would like to talk about is my great mentor of Blessed Memory Dr. Tayo Adeyemi. He took me under his wings from the age 17, all through to age 33, just before he passed away.
He mentored me in life, in ministry, how to be a husband, a father, he taught me how to give my best to God and so much more. He was the one who taught me that success in life is not about money, fame, or power but fulfilling the reason for which we're created. The third person is my wonderful wife, Jane Adabale. Oh, my goodness, where do I start from regarding this woman? She supported me, she encourages me. Whatever God has called me to do, she will stay up all night to support me. She'll pray over me while I'm sleeping. She allows me to travel, to work late, do various projects. She managed my first book as well. She has stood by me through turbulent periods in life and ministry.
The fourth person I would like to talk about as a destiny helper is my pastor, Pastor Kola Taiwo of New Wine Church in London. Wow, very secured leader. He will say, "David, whatever God has laid on your heart to do that glorifies Jesus, you will always have my support." He paved the way for me to write my first book. He encourages me to teach in areas of my strength and so much more.
The fifth person I would like to talk about is my manager, Jessica Mae. Wow. She's an angel on steroids. She'll give honest feedback on what I do. She's a sounding board. She will inform me of my blind spots. She inspires me on new things I need to do. She's not afraid to commit to whatever venture I believe we need to work on. She's always focused on whatever God has called us to do that will glorify God. She project manage the completion of my first book, the audiobook and then the second book and then the third book, and every other event and spin-offs we don't after that.
Now, this list is not exhaustive, there are so many more people, destined helpers, that God has brought my way and this is the truth. Everything you'll do in life will involve people directly or indirectly.

I want to remind you of a very important question that we are confronted with on a day-to-day basis, as a matter of fact, this question is intricately woven to our effectiveness in life – Let see if you can get an idea of this question:
- When your mobile phone goes to standby mode, and you want to access it – your device will ask you that question.
- When you decide to go into your social media account or go to the ATM Machine or want to access a security door in your office, you will confront that question.
- When you go to a bank, and you want to access an amount of money that the banking institution consider to be unusual from normal day to day transaction. You’ll be faced with that question
- When you want to go into a country that is not considered to be your country of residence, right at the border, the point of entry, you will be confronted with this same question
- Can you guess what this question is? It’s the identity question – WHO ARE YOU?
This question is designed for one purpose only – to reveal your identity. We call it the ‘Identity Question’. We are faced with the identity question in everyday life, including the challenges that we face.
The challenges of life are there to ask one question, ‘who are you?’ - are you a winner or a looser, are you a coward or courageous, are you the head or the tail?

Somewhere in me, I knew writing books and producing educational materials was part of my assignment in life. I tried several times to start but got frustrated. Then I decided to hand it over to God, that He called me and when the time comes, He will make a way for me.
Let this be a lesson, if anything is heavy on your heart to do, maybe a dream or an assignment. Once you notice you are struggling with it, talk to God about it; hand it over to Him. So, I left the book writing in God’s hands and for about 4 years nothing happened.
Then on the 1st of January 2019, I woke up with an inner voice (which I believe was God) that said, “David, write a book and have it ready for your birthday on the 15th of February 2019”. I asked, “okay but what should be the book be about?”. God said, “I will tell you tomorrow.”
I woke up the next day, 2nd of January 2019 and I had the same encounter telling me that the book should be about ‘Diamond Believer’.
I got to work immediately, and I had less than 6 weeks to get the book ready.
The process was intense, however on the 13th of February 2019, 2 days before the deadline, I was holding the book in my hand. Why? Because the moment I notice God gave me the ‘green light’ for the book, I told myself “I will arise and fulfill my assignment.”
The book - Diamond Believer, inspired a radio broadcast, podcast, television broadcast, teenage ministry and more, because I decided that I will arrive and fulfill my assignment.
The story did not end there, not only did I produce my first book, I went further to write and publish 5 more books, making me an author of 6 books in about 2 years, to the glory of God. Why? God gave the grace and I decided that I will arise and fulfill my assignment.

Sometimes in 2015 and 2016 during my time of devotion and prayers. God started telling me extensively about the 3 calls (assignments) that he had placed upon my life and their order of priority. I noticed that I was only fulfilling one of the 3 assignments and it was the third priority assignment. However, I was barely executing the first and second priority assignments.
The number 1 call God gave me was teaching. However, I was hardly teaching anything. Firstly, I believed that my environment did not give room for teaching. Secondly, I had no room in my schedule to consider teaching. Thirdly, I did not know what to teach about.
Then God led me to do 3 things which I recommend to anyone that want to fulfill their calling and answer ‘the process’ question of their assignment.
This process helped me towards fulfilling my calling, in teaching people all over the world through my books (6 as at the time of this publication), radio broadcast, podcasts, seminars, events and more.

I have discovered that the pressures of life are inevitable by stress is optional.
So, what is the difference between stress and pressure. Pressure is what happens on the outside due to external factor e.g. people’s expectation, reality of your situations and the fact of your circumstance based on your 5 senses – however, stress is an internal conflict as a result of the gap between what your 5 senses present to you and what your inner conviction expect to be your reality.
Also, stress is a decision. I’m reminded of a saying by that “Indecision is also a decision; you are just letting someone else make that decision for you”.

I want you to know that God as invested a lot in you and he’s looking at getting return on his investment. The only way to give him the return on his investment is to be faithful with what he has given you. I call this ‘consistently faithful stewardship’. That is what the bible passage in Matthew 25:14-30 is all about.
One of my great teacher and former boss, Pastor Michael Olawore of blessed memory told me of a story about a man who worked for a privately owned construction company:
He had been with his boss for a while, managed several projects and made a lot of money. He is known to do his work with excellence and building house for his boss to a high quality.
After a while, his boss was advancing in age, his boss bought thought about how to reward him and release him. So, his boss called him and told him that his next building project will be the final one for the boss and the boss will release him.
So, he was given all the money required to build a top notch high quality house
Guess what the servant did, he compromised on the quality of the building, he kept some money back and used inferior materials to build the house because he thought, this is his only chance to make money off his boss
When the work was completed, he gave the key to the completed house to his boss. The boss thanked him for his years of service and handed the key of the house back to the servant, that the house was for the servant, that was why he (the boss) requested that it must be the best quality house
The servant thought to himself, I should have just been faithful with what I was given because it does come back and hurt you if you are not faithful
Our faithfulness on the current level qualifies us for abundance in the next.
Therefore, in order for us to have a happy new year indeed, we need to be faithful with the treasures God has given us.
To do this, you need to have 3 mind sets:

Recognise that you don’t own anything, they are all a loan
-
There is nothing at your disposal that is an end in itself, it’s a means to an end
-
Every treasure you have is for an assignment
So how do we make the most of our treasures, by being intentional in the we:

Multiply it

I can remember coming home in December 2003, I just came back from work, really tired from the day, retired on the sofa, I’ve hardly settled when my wife told me the news will change my life forever. She said, "I had a pregnancy test today and checked over again, I am pregnant".
What do you think my response was? Happy, sad, surprised or something in between? Well, it was all of the above for 3 reasons:

I was not expecting a child then because myself and my newly married wife had plans.

I didn’t know what the future holds as I start a new phase of being responsible for someone else
-
I have to take care of my wife, whose life will change forever too
Not too long from then, I was talking to my Pastor and great mentor (Dr. Tayo Adeyemi of blessed memory), he calmed me down that I will be fine. He said, none of his 3 sons where planned for and he can tell me there was no better time for them to be born.
The rest is history.
I realised afterwards that being a father and a father figure is a blessing. It is a unique call from God.
Fatherhood is not a title, it is a function.
That is why this audio celebrates biological fathers, father figures, and mentors

I had two friends who I’ll refer to as Friend A and Friend B. They both wanted to study pharmacy and were given the opportunity to do so. They were both offered a place in the program but encountered obstacles before they were able to start the course.
Friend A decided that, despite the obstacles stacked against her, she would persevere and begin the course no matter what. Friend B however, decided not to go for it.
The last time I checked with both friends, I found out that Friend A, who pushed on despite her issues, had completed the four-year course and had become a pharmacist. Friend B, even ten years later, had still not started the program.
Friend A overcame procrastination and went for it. Friend B procrastinated and till now has not gone through the course. What is the point of the story – Don’t procrastinate, because there is a destiny you have been called to fulfill, that is why you are still alive. Listen to more on this podcast

Locating The Place of Your Assignment - The Location Question
This is episode 5 episode of the 'Locating and Fulfilling Your Purpose' series and the 4th of the Destiny Questions. The ‘WHERE’ of your assignment. Where have you been called to fulfill your assignment.
Did you know that your life is an answer to somebody’s question and solution to somebody’s problem and those people are tied to a location? I call that location ‘Divine Location’
Your assignment is required to be delivered during a time (called duration) and space (called location)
If you were not necessary you will not be here. The space you occupy right now is a location; however is it the place of your assignment, which we are referring to as your ‘Divine Location’
This podcast will help you answer 3 questions:
- Where do you think your assignment is the be executed?
- Are you where you can call your ‘Divine location’?
- If you are not in your divine location, how can you get there?
There was a period in my life in which I was going through a difficult period in rapid succession and this was affecting my self-esteem. Then I started to look into my father, grandfather's lives – even those I have very strong and positive linage, I began to search if there was any generational curse that I’m dealing with until I had to stop myself. I reminded myself that I’m in Christ, my spiritual linage has change, that Jesus is my prototype, that is what the book of Romans 8:29 tells me.
The life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ stated a new specie of human being. Once you receive Jesus as your Lord and savior, you become a new person and have victory over the old human nature including generational curses.

3 Questions t bear in mind:
- Why were you born in the year you were born, into the city you were born and family you were born into?
- Why did God allow you to go through the experiences of life that you have gone through?
- Why are you in the position you are today, know the people you know, have the access you have and carry the potential that is on the insight of you?
Since God gave dominion to man, he has chosen to do everything on earth through man, his representative.
So why are you given the assignment and calling that you have?

I want you to know that people are an integral part of our journey towards destiny fulfillment and having a happy new year indeed. There is hardly anything we’ll do in life that will not involve people. As a matter of fact, people are involved in all the pivotal parts of our lives including our birth, learning to walk, talk, read, write, promotion at work and so on.
Everyone in our lives fall one of 4 categories – Coaches, Friends, Fans and Critics.
- Coaches are God ordained authority figures in our lives – they are the people whose decisions directly impacts our lives. They see potential in us, they stretch us and also show us our blind spots. They are the balance between a pat on the back and a kick in the pants as the Americans will say it. They know to encourage us and when to scold us.
Friends: These are contemporaries and mates that are heading in the same direction towards destiny fulfillment.
Fans: They are people that have benefited from our life or what we currently do.
Critics: They are people who push us beyond our comfort zone, many times using the tool of hostility, with little to no concern for our feelings. They are the opposite of fans.
However, for the purpose of today’s discussion titled ‘Making the most of your relationship’; in order for you to have a happy New Year, you need to nurture your relationship with 3 of the 4 categories of people. They are your:

Coaches
-
Friends and
-
Fans
Relationships are like garden; if you pay attention to it and nurture it, you will enjoy it but if you ignore it, weeds will grow and after a while you wouldn’t want to do near it again.
Don’t forget that the quality of our life is directly proportional to the quality of our relationships
So that big question is how do I nurture the positive relationships in my life?
The answer this question, let me introduce to you what I call the ‘RULT’ principle of friendship – R-U-L-T, yes the word does no exist in the English dictionary but its’ simply the acronym for what I call the 4 legs of a relationship and they are:

Respect

Understanding

Love
-
Trust
In order to have a happy new year, you need to make the most of your relationships by nurturing the relationship. For you to nurture your relationships you need to understand the 4 legs of the relationship table. RESPECT, UNDERSTANDING, LOVE AND TRUST

This includes our skills, abilities, and flair. The more we develop our talent, the more valuable we become. 3. Thought refers to our paradigm and our mindset. Negative thoughts can never produce a positive life. That's why the Bible says as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. 4. Trust refers primarily to our relationships. How do we treat people? How do we engage people? How do people feel when they meet us? The quality of our life is directly proportional to the quality of our relationships. 5. Treasure refers to our assets and resources; money and material possessions. Diligent stewardship of our treasure increases our shine as Diamond Believers.
Utilising any of these tools frequently increases our chance of having a happy new year
As we come to the end of one year and beginning another year, it is very important to be able to focus, press the reset button and continue on our journey towards destiny fulfillment.
Regardless of what your experience might have been at the end of one year, prepare to start with new year with optimism and faith knowing that God has kept you alive for a reason.
I recently did a research to find out how many people die in our world (mortality rate) and the outcome of my research varied widely. However my deduction from all the research was that an average 2 people die every second. Which means when I click my fingers, 2, 4, 6
The fact that you are listening to me right now is an indication that God has a plan for you.
We live life on levels and experience it in stages. If you're a diamond at one level, that is just the beginning of another level; because the top of a flight of stairs is the bottom of the next flight of stairs. That is why the Bible says, that the path of the just, is like a light that shines brighter and brighter unto to the perfect day (Proverbs 4:18).
God’s plan is for you to get better and better. Where God is concerned, nothing diminishes. It is always progressive. It might look as if it is diminishing but when God is in it, it gets better and better.

Today’s audio is an extract from the book diamond believer, and we are looking at Chapter 3– Jesus is my Prototype – Our conversation today is title: Making Room for What Matters
I also tell a real life story that happened in India about a man that made room for What Matters and as a result, he transformed our world.
I went to a faith-based, private school for my primary education. The fees were high, but my parents never hesitated to pay the annual fees due to the quality of education provided by the school, and their strong belief that a good education is one of the greatest assets they could give me. In addition, my parents paid for extra private tuition at home for me in the evenings.
As it happens, I was a top-set student in my year group. Scoring eighty percent and above in my exam results was a regular occurrence. You can imagine the horror and shock, on the rare occasion that I got a miserable seventy percent in general knowledge during my Year 5 exams. My final primary school results were excellent, I was the president of the science club in my school and I gained admission into a high-performing and competitive Secondary School.
When I got to secondary school, it was a different ball game. I was surprised at how far back I was. I was a top-set in primary school, but in secondary school, there were students that were miles ahead of me academically. Looking back, I now appreciate the lesson of ‘The Next Level.’ Becoming a Diamond Believer is a journey to the next level.
We live life on levels, and experience life in stages. The life I lived as a 6-year-old, is completely different from the life I lived as a 16-year-old, 26-year-old, and 36 year old.
For every level that we experience, or we aspire to, there is the ‘A-I-R’ principle for that next level. ‘A’ stands for authority, ‘I’ stands for influence, and ‘R’ stands for responsibility. God ensures that we are fully prepared in all these areas before moving us to the next level.

I have learnt that our human nature does not like criticism. Therefore we see critics as enemies and we want them to say far away from us. I have discovered that criticism in itself is not a bad thing, the issue is how we respond to criticism.
Someone once said that your critics and your fans are saying the same thing, they are just saying it in different ways. – Do you agree?
I personally see criticism like fish – you eat the juicy flesh and spit out the bones. You take what you want and get rid of the rest.
The fact is that, if we are honest with ourselves, some criticism does have an element of truth in it. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying that there is no smoke without fire.
However, the fact that there is criticism show that the person being criticised is making an impact, so much that they are worthy of attention.
What Am I saying? “I’m saying critics are not a bad thing in our lives" and we’ll learn more about it in today podcast as we focus on critics.

As I continued to do so with the help of God, people started coming up to me to thank me for being such a blessing to them …oh, I didn’t know that, then the next person and more feedback, wow… that really inspired me that I’m doing the right thing – who are these people, they are fans.
Their inspiration did play a part in my journey towards destiny fulfillment – even though they did not know.

I’ve discovered that everything in our lives involves people. Everything in our life will be affected by people, whether with good or bad intentions. We need to understand and appreciate that people will continue to play major roles in our lives towards destiny fulfillment.

Everyone that comes into our life has an impact. No contact is accidental; therefore, it is important to understand and appreciate the purpose of people in our lives. When we consider the lives of key biblical characters and compare them with our personal lives; the people we come across fall broadly into four categories - Coaches, Friends, Fans, and Critics.

Can I ask you a question? Why does a boat sink? Does a boat sink because the boat is in water or does a boat sink because water gets into the boat?
Whatever pressure of life you may be facing or whatever the storms of life that your boat may be experiencing remember you can choose not to sink but rise.
The purpose of every storm is to see how it can get water into you but as long as you decide in yourself that by the grace of God, you will not sink but you will rise.
Many pressures we face in life starts as external pressure, through our 5 senses, then if we are not careful, they become internal and that is the point where sinking could set it.
However, when we follow the 4 actions that the bible encourages us in doing regularly, we will notice that we are more fortified and whatever storms we face, indeed, we’ll notice that we are not sinking we are rising

As a matter of fact, there is nothing becomes precious without the ability to withstand pressure.
Just like a diamond that is made from Carbon, the same starting material as Coal that we use for our energy and led that we use for our pencil. Now if asked you which of them is the most precious one – Diamond, Coal or Led, which one would you choose – Diamond of course.

Two concepts of time When we come across the word ‘time’ in the New Testament, it is possible that they don’t all mean the same thing. There are two different Greek words translated as ‘time’ in English Bible. - Kairos Time and Kronos Time.

Have you ever come across the film called, The Terminal, starring Tom Hanks? Inspired by a true story, the film follows a gentleman from Eastern Europe, coming to America as a tourist. Whilst on his flight, war broke out in his country, and as a result, his tourist visa became invalid by the time he landed at JFK Airport in New York. He was therefore denied entry into the United States of America and could not be deported. So, he was stuck at the airport. It seemed as if one event turned everything against him. However, while there, he achieved a long-held dream to collect one last autograph from a musical hero.
The Bible makes it clear in Psalm 139:14-16, that God has written all the days of your life in his Book, even before there was one of them. I like the way the Message translation says it, "In your books were written all the days of my life, before there was even one of them." In other words, before you spent one day on this earth, God had already written every single day of your life so that his plan can be fulfilled in our life, including every event. Your life is like a script, and every event happening in your life is part of that script - the good, the bad, “the ugly,” the surprises - Everything! Nothing is coincidental.
One of the ways that you know you have been chosen by God to be a Diamond Believer, is the process that you go through; many of those processes will come through events. By recognising the will of God for your life, you are empowered to embrace His dealings and obey His instructions, pushing you toward your destiny fulfillment.
Philippians 2:13 says, "For it is God who works in you, both to will and to do of His good pleasure." Regardless of events you are facing right now, always know that none of them is coincidental, but a script, written by God for your life. Remember, you and I are here because God chose us like the carbon that becomes a diamond.
Why Am I sharing this audio with you today. Because I know so much that energy flows with attention goes. I know that whatever we pay attention to will give us direction.
I share my personal experience on how I overcame a very difficult period in my life using this concept and i know it will bless you too
Regarding of what you and I are going through, God is working everything together for our Good – Say it with me, It’s All working for my good.
Why I’m I sharing this with you: 3 reasons
1. Proper Perspective: Know that every challenge that I’m going through is all working for me Good gives me the proper perspective. As a matter of fact, it gives the Godly perspective in the situation
2. Inspiration for the Journey: It gives us inspiration for the journey. Sometimes, life can be though but guess what you have been designed to overcome the challenges of life because it’s working together for your good. I’m reminded of that popular saying that ‘tough times never last but tough people do’
3. Encouragement to others: There is nothing that we go through in life that is about us only. God will use your experience and how you’ve overcome your challenges to encourage others
So these are the 3 reasons why I believe God is inspiring me to share this with you today.
I want you to know that just like a diamond, you are going through a particular process, that will increase your value because God is making it all work together for your good according to Romans 8: 28

Imagine that you got a message from someone you trust, that the diamond vault in the city near you will be opened in 3 hours. Anyone that comes to the location will be given a portion of the diamond reserves to keep, with no strings attached. Just show up at the right location in 3 hours, and you will be a proud owner of many diamonds. What would be your initial response? Excitement? Skepticism? Curiosity? Whatever it is, you will have some level of interest. Why? You would be interested because of the value of diamonds.
This is the same with you. You are precious to God that is why you are here. There is an amazing future that God has for you, and like a diamond, the prerequisite is for you to go through certain processes that will increase your value so that you can be qualified for the future God has for you.
