Church of Pod: Recent Episodes

Gary, Paul & Steve

There's a great deal of political discord in the United States today and Christians are not immune from this reality. Is the Church a house divided without remedy or can believers unite around shared values? The first three episodes feature a conversation between conservative friends, Gary, Paul, and Steve who are from different backgrounds, experiences and places (Texas, New York, and Kentucky). They share their individual challenges as each attempts to navigate this heated environment. Guests then join the conversation to share differing perspectives about what's most important from a Biblical worldview. Is there common ground enough for everyone to remain standing together? The first three episodes of this podcast was titled "Church of Pod' as a reflection of the spiritual journey between three friends. Several more episodes were recorded, including promised interviews, but never published as tensions around the nation escalated. In 2022, the podcast was re-named "Left Right God" to reflect their journey as they came to understand the left/right struggle that defined so many disagreements between believers was drawing their attention away from what was most critical. Uniting around shared values is a virtuous goal, but what God is saying to the Church in the midst of this turmoil must remain a central focus within this pursuit. Stay tuned for new content.
