There is a skill that some of the most experienced coaches work at developing and refining.

What skill you ask? It is to be an intuitive coach.  I knowing in the middle of a session where you are in tune with a client and what they are not saying.  Feeling their energy, their anxiety, their hedging.  This is an important muscle to develop because this can give you insight into how you show up for your client and keep you locked in to be what they need.

In this episode, we have Terrie Christine who uses her superpowers of intuition to help her clients get in touch with their true selves and show up no matter the circumstance.  Terrie describes how she masterfully acknowledges and validates her clients helping them to see where patterns show up in their lives so they can breakthrough to what they need in their lives.

Before we can talk equality we have to know if you are willing to put your money where your mouth is.  Equity is the difference between an Diversity and Inclusion program and a Talent Strategy.

In today's environments organizations need to show up or their employees by building something that out lives the posters on the walls.  When there is mental acknowledgement from the top of an organization that something different needs to be done it builds in staying power.

DeAnnah helps us understand what having a strategy really looks like.

She is an expert at helping organizations and its leaders see how to be better together by having inclusive dialogue that can stand the test of time.

Enjoy the episode.

Her insights and intuition are a gift from above.

In this world of ours we rarely take  the time to see the world as others do, instead we settle and see the world as we are.  The danger with that is if we are not careful we could find ourselves trying to help someone rationalize their reality.

How insensitive is that!?  Can you imagine trying to convince someone who just lost a family member that its not that bad or relegate their emotions and feelings by saying "It could be worse".

You wouldn't dare would you?  Then why is it okay to attempt to do it when it comes to social issues? I am done explaining away my humanity to help others be okay with me not being okay.

Enough is enough we must talk about our world as it IS not as we wish it to be.  When we stay present for what is we an then put words and feet to actively move the needle forward.

I brought my brother in once again to talk through this with me.

This one is a bit raw and full of emotion, so, as always let me know what you think and how we can continue to make the show better.

It's time that we start to have the necessary conversation about race.

To say you don't see color is to say you don't see what/who someone is.

In this episode, my brother and TEDx Speaker on the topic Kenston Henderson dive into a longer than usual segment to help people understand it's only uncomfortable if you treat necessary conversations as only needing to happen when something has happened.

It's time we play offense and stop being offended when it's time to talk things out.

What are we here for?

Does my life have meaning?

Has anyone ever ask themselves any of those questions?

I know I did at one point in my life, but today I am very clear about who and what I am supposed to be.  In this episode, I brought along my brother Thierry Myrthil to discuss Purpose and how we intentionally live it out every day.

Let's go.

In this week's episode we have the opportunity to interview Business and Leadership Coach Jason Young.

We will be talking through what it takes to identify, name, and address things in your life that may be seen as obstacles.

It is important that we all understand we need to see this as taking one step at a time, "Rome wasn't built in a day" and you can only "eat an elephant, one bite at a time"

We all need it, but what type of friend are you being in this new reality?

People come into our lives for a reason, a  season, or a lifetime.

We need to be a help, an encouragement, and hold each other accountable to how we show up.

Life, career, and the community were meant to collide into this beautiful reality.  But only when we all are in a position to do what we were purposed to do.  When did "doing what I have to do" become some badge of honor? What if, we all took on this mantra to be, know, and do what we were born to do.  What would the world look like?  It is not a fantasy to think it can happen today.

Take a listen to this to hear Speaker, Coach, and Trainer Kenston Henderson discuss what this looks like.

In a world full of anxiety and people tiptoeing around topics the last thing we need to do is not address the proverbial elephant in the room.  Unconscious Bias, Implicit Bias, Implicit Social Cognition or whatever the topic is nowadays one thing is clear we all have a bias.

The keys to success are to manage and be aware of what they are so we can have meaningful and useful discussions about how to move forward together.

Whether you are developing in a leadership role or developing as an individual contributor we must get comfortable with communicating boundaries.  Why we believe this is hard is because we feel if we somehow let others know what they can expect from us that somehow makes us rigid and not a very good teammate.

But it is quite the contrary.  Being a great teammate is all about communicating and showing the team who and what you are.  We train people how to treat us.
