The timekeepers of timeline is a popular theme in television series meant to keep us entertained. You must have heard the phrase WHEEL OF TIME. It is a popular TV series and an excellent series of books as well. Today we talk about the Vedic wheel of time. In science, we perceive time to move in a linear direction, however, according to Vedic literature-time moves in a circular direction. This means it returns to the beginning. Time is a chakra (wheel). We call it the kāla (long A as in tart, smart) or kāla cakra. In this interesting podcast, we talk with Pandit Atul our resident Vedic philosopher about the qualities of time, the four yugas, time being a destroyer and creator, and instances from the Bhagavad Gita and pop culture.

Samskaras are deep impressions in our mind, that have been imprinted in our mind, consciousness. This is a class discussion with Ayurveda Counselor Students. We talk about how we tried to form new habits, what worked and what didnt.
