We have been discussing generosity in our lives, but how does that translate as a local church? How is Lineage rich in generosity? These are the questions that Pastor Ryan answered during the last installment of our Be Rich series as he prepared us to Reach, Connect, Go, and Grow this coming Sunday for our Serve Day, a day focused on serving our community through generosity.
When we live with an open hand and are willing to be obedient in sharing our wealth, we will experience joy and blessing in our lives. In this week's message, Pastor Ryan discusses the why behind our giving, the command to be willing to share, and the three types of giving outlined in the Bible.
The world encourages us to have a "mine" mentality, where we think everything— our time, our talent, our finances—belongs to us. However, true riches comes from living a life of contagious generosity. In the second part of our Be Rich series, guest speaker Tim DeTellis shares how to live generously with the resources that God has given us.
Jesus went through dry seasons but He knew how to drink from the right well. He declared "I'm thirsty" on the cross so you never have to search further than Him to find the Living Water.
In part 1 of our new series, 'Be Rich', Pastor Ryan shared with us how the generosity of God should inspire us to live a life of overflow and giving to others. Generosity isn't just a nice thing to do- it is a faith response to God's provision.
"Miracles are God's intervention on our behalf when we have a problem that we can't fix." This week, Pastor Ryan began a series called "Miracles," where he taught us how to strengthen our faith and trust in God when we need a miracle.
Prayer is an essential part of our walk with God. It reawakens your heart when you need it. Pastor Ryan walks us through a model of prayer you can use in your daily life.
This world can be challenging for those of us that call ourselves Christians, but we can live life as a champion! This week, Pastor Randy shared with us three points that can help us live with a champion's spirit, but also be the champions this hurting world needs.
We can take back control of our lives. Pastor David gives us simple steps to change our mindset and overcome everything trying to hold us back. Understanding the truths from God's Word, we can set ourselves up for emotional healing.
This week in SUMMERLAND, we hear a message from Pastor Josh Joines of Faith Family Church in Baytown, TX! Obeying God is the premise of seeing His promises fulfilled in our life. The blessing follows the obedience.
This week in SUMMERLAND, we hear from Pastor Peter Haas! In the Old Testament, God allowed Caleb to participate in a good number of miracles because he had a "different spirit." After doing a Bible study on this leader, we will consider the question: How can we acquire this same spirit of faith? And if we learn this lesson, we will never use the expression: "It's too late…"
This week in SUMMERLAND we have the privilege of hearing from Pastor Bryan Lamoureux, who leads Reverb Church in St Augustine, FL. He brought a message on revival, encouraging us to stay desperate for God, then watch how He will show up in our lives and our church.
In this week’s message, Pastor Randy shares about the beauty and joy of heaven while helping us set aside the misconceptions we may have about eternity.
People often have misconceptions about God, especially when He is referred to as Father. In this week's message, Pastor Randy explains how our relationships and ideas about our earthly fathers can influence our perception of the Heavenly Father and how we can transform our view of God and our relationship with Him.
We all live with a premise, which is our attitude towards life. Tim encourages us to let God surprise our assumptions by delivering the punchline!
Everything God says about you is true! In our new series, SUMMERLAND, Pastor Randy walks us through Romans 8 and how we can live free from our past and fully experience life the way God intended us to.
God knew effect that sin would have on us. Loneliness, isolation, vulnerability, and hopelessness. God created us to be in relationship with Him, and He created us to be in relationship with one another. God created our earthly family, and an eternal family: the Church.
All throughout the Psalms, we get a picture of how God likes to be worshipped. Pastor Ryan dives deeper into the Hebrew words for "praise" and how that provides a template for us to worship God.
After we experience the fresh life God has for us, we are called to go first, go quickly, and go far to introduce others to Jesus.
When it comes to forgiveness, Jesus encourages us to not keep score of the wrongs done against us, but lose count by pursuing forgiveness. Freedom is found on the other side of forgiveness.
Grace is a gift given to us, we can not earn it or buy it. Everyone that follows Jesus receives the gift of grace to fulfill a purpose and to make a difference in the world. Pastor Ryan outlines the process of discovering, embracing and using your gifts.
The resurrection power of God can impact our everyday lives. We don't have to wait until death to experience the fullness of God's life; we can encounter it right here and now on earth. Pastor Ryan's Sunday message is not just for Easter; it is relevant every day of the year.
In John 14, Jesus proclaims Himself to be the Way, the Truth, and the Life. What is the significance of each of these statements? Pastor Ryan walks through each of them, and shares what that means for our life on earth, and into eternity.
Jesus saves us by His grace, but His salvation is not only about our rescue from sin and death. He transforms our lives and gives us a new identity as His ambassadors, so we can share His message of love and redemption with others. Pastor Ryan teaches through 3 applications in Ephesians 2 that we can apply to our life as an ambassador for the Kingdom.
Jesus led people to salvation through faith with simple instructions. This week as we continue our “Jesus Saves” series we will learn about the simple steps that we can take to lead from a life of sin to a life of redemption and how to encourage others to follow Jesus.
Salvation is God's grace received through faith. The primary vehicle God designed for humanity to experience salvation is through His Church! Pastor Ryan shares 5 things that we- as the Church- should be doing to remain faithful and fruitful.
“Jesus saves” is a phrase we often hear, but did you know that His salvation is not just for our eternal benefit, but also for the purpose of serving others? Jesus showed us how to be humble servants, to sit with the marginalized, and to demonstrate compassion towards those in need. Through serving, we gain a unique perspective on life that no one else has.
Tithing is a principle established in the Bible from the Old Testament to the New Testament. Giving God ten percent of our income before paying bills, buying groceries, or having fun with friends and family demonstrates that God is our top priority. Tithing is not about the money but trusting God to provide for all our needs.
There is a fight for our finances, and we must choose which side we will be on. Will we be on God’s side, allowing His influence to back us and help us succeed? Or will we choose the side that sells us the lies that money is evil or that if we had more money, we could do more and be happier? Pastor Ryan’s message shows us how we can win the battle of our finances with God’s help.
God put you on earth to learn how to LOVE! Pastor Randy extracts a few principles from the life of Jesus to show us how to love others well.
In a world full of confusion, God does not desire to leave you senseless. To kick off our series, Dollars and Sense, Pastor Ryan takes us to Proverbs to learn about the patterns of prosperity. God wants you to prosper!
Your job in God's family is to invite others to join us! Pastor Ryan shares some spiritual insight and practical ways to share the hope you have in Jesus with those in your life.
God hasn't asked us to do something hard, He has invited us to do something impossible. Something that can only be accomplished through the power of prayer. Ryan urges us to pray consistently, undistracted, and persistently-- and watch how God will respond.
If we worry for a second, we've worried too long. Our friend Tim DeTellis encourages us to live a life in constant prayer by surrendering our worries to God.
Pastor Ryan continues the conversation on the power of prayer and fasting. By looking into the stories of Caleb, Nehemiah, and Isaiah we learn that the right perspective builds the right faith, the right discipline builds the right strength, and putting those things together builds the right reward.
Prayer connects us to God. Fasting disconnects us from the world. To kick off the Pray First series, Pastor Ryan talks about the spiritual and physical benefits of fasting, and shows us the different types of fasts found in the Bible.
Welcome to Church At Home 2023! We're glad you're tuning in as Pastor Ryan recaps the year, and gives some encouragement from Colossians 1 as we head into the new year.
We don't just have a gracious Father beyond the stars, we have Emmanuel; God with us. Jesus embraced humanity so that He might relate to everything you experience on earth. He is with you in your work, your relationships, your struggles, and your suffering.
The power of an invitation can have tremendous impact on your life. Depending on the situation an invite has the power to shape relationships, expose your life to new experiences and even set the trajectory of your family tree. Throughout scripture, we read of many people included and excluded from invitations. These situations shaped their faith and have given us an insight into God’s character.
What God commands you to do, He equips you to do. God gives a promise, that when you are generous with your money, time, and talents, your world and your portion will grow larger. He responds to your generosity with blessing!
God has deposited glory inside of each of us, and we have an opportunity to give that glory back to Him. This looks like giving God your best, your attention, and your strength. We can sabotage the full potential of God's glory being displayed when we withhold areas of our life from Him. Where does God need access?
In order to make the most of every opportunity (Ephesians 5), we must understand the times in which we live. Pastor Ryan shares 3 things that a church with purpose- who understands the times- does that you can prioritize in your daily life.
Ephesians 5 charges us to imitate God in everything we do, making the most of every opportunity in this life. In part 1 of our series, Pastor Ryan shares 3 ways to make it count.
Pastor Randy gives a Biblical perspective on current events in Israel and the Middle East.
Too often, we fall into the lie of thinking God could never use us for extraordinary things. The Bible is filled with stories of ordinary people yielding to the Holy Spirit, and watching the miraculous come forth in their life. The Holy Spirit wants to bring into your life His supernatural power, a change of perception and transform you to reflect the character of Christ.
There's more for you to experience beyond water baptism... The Holy Spirit wants to baptize you in His refining fire. Just like gold is melted down to remove all its impurities, The Holy Spirit baptizes us in fire to remove all our impurities. But He doesn't leave you in the fire alone, He ministers to you there through rest, reshaping your character, and empowering you with gifts.
Have you ever come to a moment where you realized you needed a change? The Holy Spirit desires to be a change agent in your life; transforming your unrighteousness to His righteousness, natural living to supernatural living, and your wandering into purpose.
"You do not receive Him, because you do not behold Him." -Jesus
God wants to interact with you as Father, Son, and Spirit! The Holy Spirit is not unreachable; He wants to be in an intimate relationship with you so you can recognize His voice, experience HIs presence, and thrive in the life He has planned for you.
Because you've been entrusted, does not mean you've been entitled. Pastor Randy teaches out of the life of King David, giving us 3 key ways to avoid the entitlement trap.
The 4th pillar of our church vision is to GO! Pastor Randy encourages us to surrender our lives to the will of God, and watch where He will lead you and what He will do through you.
God has given you unique gifts and abilities to build His Church, and each gift is important! The grace always proceeds the gift. Willie challenges us to USE our spiritual gifts; first at Lineage, and then beyond.
Wondering what your spiritual gifts are? We'd love to help you discover them! Follow the link below to take our Lineage 101 course.
In the book of Acts, we see over and over again that Jesus calls us to be His witnesses, stepping outside of our comfort zone to reach people for Christ. Jesus modeled this for His disciples and for us: You'll never take the Gospel to the wrong person.
God doesn't want something FROM you, He wants YOU! Pastor Ryan unpacks the first part of our vision, REACH, in our series Lineage 101.
It's the worst of times, and the best of times, all at the same time. In the finale of Asking for a Friend, Pastor Ryan talks about the 4th most requested topic of the end times. The bottom line? Don't panic. Jesus gives us everything we need so we can be ready for His return.
The third most requested topic over the summer was spiritual warfare! The reality is, we are no match for the devil; but the devil is no match for our God. Pastor Ryan exposes the strategies of the devil and shares weapons of warfare found in Scripture.
Pastor Randy teaches on the 2nd most requested topic this summer... Marriage! Marriage is created by God to be a reflection of His image to the world around you. Watch/listen to learn why your marriage is worth fighting for.
The MOST REQUESTED topic from our church-wide survey was Holy Spirit! Pastor Ryan answers the questions: Who is the Holy Spirit? Why is there controversy surrounding Him? Why do I need Holy Spirit? How do I pray to know the person of the Holy Spirit better?
We must remain hungry for God's vision and thirsty for God's favor on our lives. Tim encourages us with the reminder that when we stand in the peace of Christ, He promises to fight for us.
There are over 600 warnings in your Bible about Hell... either the people who penned the Bible over a couple millennia were all crazy enough to believe the same lie, or its the truth. Pastor Randy presents a case for why he doesn't want to go to Hell, and why you shouldn't either.

Because you have Jesus, you will have influence wherever you go. Pastor Randy shares a message on being salt and light in your world, and Pastor Ryan shares the strategy behind Easter at Lineage this year.
The person of Jesus is what happens when light slows down and takes on mass; He becomes the corrective lens to show us what life should look like. Jesus takes us from being formless to formed, empty to fulfilled, and from darkness to light.
What do you have in your hand? Like we see in John 6, Jesus can use even a little (5 loaves of bread and 2 fish) to bless thousands of people. God wants to use what's in your hand to fill spiritual deficiencies in your world.

This week, Pastor Ryan shared Part 2 of the “All That Matters” series to help us re-center our hearts on the value of connection. God never intended for us to walk through life alone, and He’s given all of us the desire and need for meaningful relationships. Life Groups give us the opportunity to go deeper in our relationships, to be honest, to identify our blind spots, and to realize our God- given potential. It is in this kind of godly, relational environment that we can experience real life change and real healing.
If God answered all of your prayers, would it change the world or just change you? In part 1 of All That Matters, Pastor Ryan unpacks what it looks like to be on assignment to reach people for Jesus.
This week, Pastor Ryan concluded "The Daniel Dilemma" series by teaching us how to love well in today’s culture. A key part of living like Jesus is loving those around us. Without love, nothing we say or do can have the long-term, positive impact we desire. So, how do we love those around us when our culture and beliefs look so different?
This week, Pastor Ryan walked us through Daniel chapters 3 & 6. There we discover the value of standing firm in our worship. Thankfully, the enemy Satan has not changed his strategy and therefore it is easy to see when he is working against us. His goal is to shape our worship or prevent it all together. With that insight we take a cue from Daniel and his friends in remaining firm in the worship of our God.
This week Pastor Ryan introduced the "Babylon Mentality." Babylon is the physical setting for the book of Daniel, but it is also a mindset. So, how do we restore order and sanity in our lives? We lift up God, acknowledge His grace and authority, and humble ourselves before Him.
As we walk through our daily lives, it can feel like we are constantly battered with competing messages through our televisions, radios, social media, and even our friends and family. So how do we navigate a culture that is constantly shifting its core values? Through Daniel, we learn that when culture shifts, we need to know who we are, reaffirm our convictions, and respond.

Equipped with this understanding of God-given influence, we will all begin to make a difference and find a new level of fulfillment.
In part 3 of "Somehow I Manage", Pastor Ryan teaches we should aim to connect with our God-given purpose that He had in mind for us before we were created. With this in mind, we need to live by design, not by default. Our time on earth is short, and there is competition for our time and attention, so we need to live our lives on purpose.
When we look at finances as purely numbers, we see five basic laws of sound money management: earning, spending, saving, investing and giving. But to find hope and freedom in our finances, we need to understand that God sees beyond the numbers.

True freedom comes from true surrender.
