Even though popcorn cooks under similar conditions, same pan, same oil, same heat the kernels pop at different times, different sizes. It's a process that's unique to each kernel not comparing to those around it but allowing individuality to help benefit the group. Stop rushing or comparing your process and pop when it's your time.

Sometimes you can't ask the question if you don't know what question to even ask. Mentorship helps pass on knowledge and wisdom from someone who has the experiences and they can help you progress without making the same mistakes. If we can find the missing link of mentorship we can become better as an individual and as a community.
We each have our own purpose and process, our own masterpiece to create. Our success and growth isn't based on how quickly someone else completes their puzzle, but how efficiently and correctly we build ours. Make 2021 something special, you are the difference, don't get distracted, and focus on putting your puzzle together.

Times of transition can be difficult and uncomfortable, but they can be beautiful and rewarding as well. We all have things that we need to let fall, like leaves from a tree, so we can transition into the fullness of our purpose.
This may come as a surprise, but you really don't have to have everything figured out. Oftentimes things don't workout quite how we envisioned them to, but we still reach the destination. It's ok if you don't have everything figured out, if you are a little hesitant about your plan, because you don't have to have all the answers, just keep pressing forward.

Where we hear someone say that they "kicked me while I was down" we generally immediately go to a negative thought process. This isn't always the case as we can learn a lesson from a giraffe even lol...sometimes when they kick us while we're down, it's just a little bit of tough love to help us get going and overcome.
We oftentimes fill our schedules, our lives up just to feel like we're doing something but never knowing true satisfaction, true fulfillment. We have become satisfied with the mana given to temporarily sustain us through the process and have spoiled our dinner if you will, not allowing ourselves to truly eat of the promise and walk in fulfillment. Don't spoil your dinner, walk in your purpose and the fulfillment of that purpose.
Why do people have a tainted view of the church? What is our motivation? Have we lost our passion and simply focus on the business of church, prostituting the pulpit? Let's get back to the passionate preachers who are truly wanting to make a difference in people's lives
The gospel faces several "enemies" or obstacles if you would. But has the church become one of those enemies? Has it become too business minded, transactional, or just disconnected from the people it's meant to love and support? Join as Dr. Harvey shares his heart and unpacks this topic.
Oftentimes the word failure carries a negative connotation, we actively avoid failure. However, failure is necessary for our growth and if approached correctly can launch us into success.
We all have things we want to do, but when opportunity presents itself are we available? Have we prepared for the opportunity? Can we stay committed to the availability? We can have such an impact if we can be available!
Taking care of yourself isn't selfish, it's a necessity. You can't keep pouring from the same vessel without refilling it, eventually it will run out. Make sure that you take care of you consistently don't become desperate for self care but be proactive and recharge often!
Life isn't always fair or fun, sometimes things happen and we get hurt by people and we develop grudges. Just like constantly carrying a bag of garbage, holding all that negativity can prevent us from picking up positive things, the foul stench of rotten garbage prevents people from being drawn to the cologne of our character. Grudges are garbage, toss them! So you can grow and progress positively in life.
We're not done yet. Where did you go? Did you get tired? Did you get involved because you thought it was the popular thing to do? Some companies make a #BLM statement for a few days and you think things changed? There is still so much work to be done to create and ensure real change and the dismantling of systemic racism...we can't "grow weary in well doing"...tonight's episode won't be the most comfortable but it is necessary...so I'll ask again, where did you go?

"Transparency: What's really behind the mask?"...especially in today's world it's difficult to be transparent, to not hide behind a mask...with everyone wearing masks physically, far too many of us are wearing masks spiritually and emotionally, hiding our real and current state...in order to grow, in order to heal we have to be able to get out from behind our masks and live as our true selves...we will be unpacking this tonight...

Productive Protests or Calculated Chaos? Are we staying focused? With everything that's going on we cannot allow our vigilance to falter. We need to ensure that we stay focused and not get distracted by people who are trying to capitalize on a moment and push their own agendas. We must stay focused, productive pushing forward with purpose to ensure that these social injustices are dealt with and real change happens. Will you still be riding for what's right when it isn't trending? We're just getting started.
Defund the police - what's that mean? There's a big misunderstanding as to what that really means, it doesn't mean we eliminate Law Enforcement, but does mean we reevaluate and restructure the current system. Join us on this episode as we just scratch the surface on what this cry is about and maybe share some understanding. And ask ourselves, where do we can from here?
A soldier is taught to kill to eliminate their enemies. A police officer is taught to serve and protect, to keep the peace. Yet if a soldier kills a civilian they are held to a much higher level of accountability than law enforcement why is this the case, especially when the officer should respond much differently than with excessive force and brutality? To truly have change their must be accountability.
Here it is the year 2020 and we are still dealing with a disgraceful systematic racism. One where the color of a person's skin dictates their treatment. When a murder can be recorded and because the victim is black there are excuses made and attempts to justify. If one cannot even acknowledge the racism, and at the very least be a voice against it I ask the question, have you blacklisted black america?
As we go through life there are times and season when we need to prune the garden of our lives. Just like with natural plants in order to promote growth and healing, to allow the plant to flourish you need to prune, remove, and shape the plant. This is something that we have to periodically do in our own lives to truly reach our potential.
Many times when someone tries to give us guidance or direction we feel that they are trying to micromanage us, that they don't have faith in our abilities. But none of that is true, they are just trying to share their experiences hopefully making things easier for us.
Especially now during these times we need real leaders, politically, spiritually, and in our communities. People who are not in it for personal gain or to be a boss, but who truly care. People who don't say "go", but say "let's go". Real leaders who lead by example and walk the process out with you.
On this week's episode we welcome the author of "Destiny's Journey", Miss Destiny Hill. We will get to know her as we discuss her testimony and how God is using her today, her book, and plans for the future.

With everything going on, are we giving up our rights under the guise of "flatten the curve"? Liquor is essential, seeds are not? Are we giving into fear or trying to make the best decisions? Join me as we talk through some of these topics tonight.
With the quarantine and the seemingly ensuing chaos, have we learned anything? Have we taken a minute as life has slowed down to change our perspective and learn something from all of this to progress into the future with? What have you learned?
Now more than ever we need real ministry. No gimmicks, no marketing, just a church reaching out and trying to meet the needs of the community. In this episode we discuss some ways that the church can evolve and practically reach out with real ministry.
Let's take a minute and chat, I'm going to take just a moment to share my heart, encourage, and just have a conversation with you about current events.
We are facing trying times, social distance is being encouraged. However, this doesn't mean we should disconnect, we have an opportunity to re-establish a human connection that has been lost. A brother is born from adversity, we can help each other grow during these difficult times and come out with some positives
Oftentimes we can be so focused on a circumstance or situation that we only pay attention to the "facts" that are presented instead of the whole truth. If you seek out the whole truth you won't allow fear to paralyze you.
Sometimes in life we hit detours that cause a course correction, cause us to travel an uncomfortable route, delaying us from our destination. But it's not a stop sign, if we can trust the sign maker we will continue to move forward and arrive at our destination.
Sometimes it's hard to be optimistic, it takes more than a positive mental attitude, but even during times of devastation we can still find a positive to focus on and rejoice!
We all face setbacks, struggles, disappointments, but are these blessings in disguise? Let's make the best of a bad situation, let's make a gourmet meal from leftovers.
We all face struggles, failures, and battles in our every day life. Sometimes we face them other times we may try to avoid them, regardless of of the motivation that drives our focus, if we have hit rock bottom or come out on top, the focus of our hope is pinpointed. The battles we face put us in a position to grow and help others.
Oftentimes we feel like we have to convince or push people towards our thought process and we do more harm than good. If you can just be good to people you will truly make an impact.
You might say, "Well, I don't think God's ever going to launch me out. I've had a lot of bad breaks. I've gone through a lot of disappointments in life." Think of it like this: When you have a bow and arrow, the more you pull the arrow back, the further it's going to shoot. If you just pull it back a little ways, if there's no pressure, no tension, it's not going to go very far. God has allowed you to be pulled back because He's about to shoot you further than you have ever imagined! You will advance, coming on like a storm..." (Ezekiel 38:9, ESV)
Sometimes our environment is seemingly hazardous and that thing God has given us seems to far of a longshot, but God will make your feet like the hinds feet. He will make you the goat giving you sure footing, so what are you waiting for? Just Jump!
