Bo Mitchell, Anthony Maggio and John Tuvey provide all you need to know on a week to week basis to win your fantasy football league.
Mount up! ... It means get on your horses.
The Fantasy Football Party-goers unleashed their final episode of the 2018 season on an unsuspecting holiday party in the Beer Hall at JL Beers, dropping knowledge like it was hot and providing a dedicated listener base with all the knowledge necessary to build stacks of cash and take down season-long leagues.
Yep. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
Sipping his traditional beverage, Bo reveled in his 50/50 win while reflecting on a season filled with Chubb and Smallwood.
Danny, I'm going to give you a little advice. There's a force in the universe that makes things happen; all you have to do is get in touch with it. Stop thinking...let things happen...and be...the ball.
Magsh twisted all the dials and knobs, rueing that his upcoming showdown with Bo in their shared dynasty league would be for third place and not a big shiny trophy. And he remembered to hit “record” so the news team didn’t have to mess with anything technical above their pay grade.
Yeah! The phone in the limo was busted. What is ya, ignorant?
Nattily attired in his dress Zubaz, 2V once again leaned heavily on the JL Beers staff—and not just as he staggered out to Santa’s sleigh. They delivered a pair of tasty beverages that were right in 2V’s wheelhouse of a warming, creamy mouthfeel—and well into the double-digits ABV-wise. And it didn’t affect his ability to dispense sage advice coherently. As least that’s what he’ll tell you.
Despite all the little problems it's fun isn't it? No. But with every new day there's fresh hope.
(Narrator: Bingo!)
Thanks for listening, and reading, and following on social media. Hopefully the Party-goers have done more good than harm, and you’ll track us down in 2019 for another fun-filled fantasy football extravaganza..
And if you've come this far, maybe you're willing to come a little further. We say that every week, and it’s more than just a line from “The Shawshank Redemption.” It’s an arduous journey, and we know many of you just aren’t willing to plow through this much prose. But rest assured, the payoff is worth it. What our show sponsors can do for you boggles the mind; check out these deals while you’re listening to the show, and we know you won’t be disappointed.

We really can't stay (Baby, it's cold outside)
Two weeks ’til we go away (Baby it's cold outside)
This evening has been (Been hoping that you'd drop in)
So very nice (On Joshua Allen we’ll roll the dice)
Our mothers will start to worry (Don’t start Latavious Murray)
Our fathers will be pacing the floor (Need a running back who can score)
(Narrator: So evidently not Frank Gore)
So really you’d better scurry (We’re toast if Packer fans are the jury)
Well maybe just a half a drink more (That JL Beers staff knows what to pour)
The listeners might think (Mitch Trubisky’s a Bear)
Order up one more drink? (Clay Matthews has pretty hair)
We wish we knew how (to quit Tre’Quan Smith—yeow!)
To break this spell (First Bo, then 2V… aw, hell! Another zero!)

At least we’re gonna say that we tried (even if we’re playing for pride)
We really can't stay (Janikowski had gout)
Baby it's cold outside
And with that the Fantasy Football Party-goers closed their song books and backed away from the front door of JL Beers, where they’d been caroling and carrying on for the better part of an hour.
(Narrator: The fine representatives of the police department had nothing to do with their departure. Mere coincidence.)
Yes, the penultimate episode of the FFP podcast is in the books, with all the news and views you need to set your DFS lineups and/or survive and advance in your season-long playoffs during this critical Week 15. You had Magsh running the board with aplomb (and opposable thumbs), Bo offering sage wisdom as the show’s own fuzzy Buddha, and 2V moving up in class to the 15% ABV beer which made him that much more interesting… to himself.
Beyond description, this week’s podcast—like each episode before it—must be experienced to be believed. Do so now, if you dare. ‘Cuz baby it’s cold outside.

On the uno dia de Navidad, the FF Party gave to me… a Stone Xocoveza from JL Beers.
On the dos dia de Navidad, the FF Party gave to me… dos Buffalo receivers kicked to the curb.
On the tres dia de Navidad, the FF Party gave to me… tres 50/50 lineups to help fill that gaping hole in your roster left by James Connor’s injury and Kareem Hunt’s stupidity.
On the quatro dia de Navidad, the FF Party gave to me… quarto active Ravens running backs, making the backfield a muddy quagmire for fantasy owners.
On the cinco dia de Navidad, the FF Party gave to me… cinco Golden Tates.
(Narrator: That was too easy. Try harder.)
On the seis dia de Navidad, the FF Party gave to me… seis Lamar Jackson fumbles. That’s a lot of el droppos for a running back, even if they’re disguised as a quarterback.
(Roberto McKenzie: This is too hard. Let’s skip ahead a couple days.)
On the nueve dia de Navidad, the FF Party gave to me… another bebe for Rios de Philipo.
On the dies dia de Navidad, the FF Party gave to me… a pair of Mitch Trubisky autographed Zubaz for our beloved Bears fan trapped so far from the Windy City.
On the once dia de Navidad, the FF Party gave to me… once Ebron receiving touchdowns.
(Narrator: Suck it, Magsh!)
On the doce dia de Navidad, the FF Party gave to me… a head coaching job, merely a formality for Number 12 in Green Bay. We’re not owners, don’t blame us for pink-slipping a husband and father so close to the holidays.
(Narrator: Wait, you’re not done? Please kill me now.)
On the trece dia de Navidad, the FF Party gave to me… trece players thrown under the bus, one for each of Ben Roethlisberger’s interceptions.
On the catorce dia de Navidad, the FF Party gave to me… a Week Catorce fantasy playoff win!
As Lili von Shtupp so famously sang, “I’m so tired.” Now, what are you waiting for? Press play and let the dulcet tones of Bo, Magsh, and 2V run down your earhole and pump your brain full of fantasy football goodness.

There’s a passage the Fantasy Football Party-goers have memorized. Ezekiel Elliott 25:17. “The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children.”
So we’re thinking: maybe James Connor is the evil man. And Baker Mayfield is the righteous man. And Mr. Jonnu Smith here… he’s the shepherd protecting our righteous asses in the valley of darkness.
Or it could mean Frank Gore is the righteous man and Anthony Miller is the shepherd and it’s Ricky Seals-Jones that’s evil and selfish. And we’d like that.
But that ain’t the truth. The truth is Wendell Smallwood is weak. And Nick Chubb is the tyranny of evil men. But he’s tryin’, Ringo. He’s tryin’ real hard to be the shepherd.
Flip open the suitcase and stare in slack-jawed awe as Bo unleashes his Samuel Jacksons stack on the 50/50. Dig into the bag and pull out a wallet that says “Bad Maggio” on it, then spend the extra DFS cash on Nyheim Hines.
You know, 2V’s getting kinda tired. Maybe from giving Alex Collins and Tre’Quan Smith foot massages.
If our answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions.
Yes, it was all there in an out-of-sequence fashion set to great 70s music: the immediate regrets, the game-by-game fantasy-relevant news, the dumpster-diving for budget DFS/season-long roster filler to salvage your season and set you on the path to the playoffs.
Plus 2V set a 50/50 lineup that made sewer rat taste like pumpkin pie, Magsh ain’t no country I’ve ever heard of, and…
BANG!
I'm sorry, did I break your concentration? I didn't mean to do that. Please, continue, you were saying something about best intentions. What's the matter? Oh, you were finished! Well, allow me to retort.
Bo’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.
And they will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy our brothers.
We happy?
(Narrator: Yeah, we happy.)

As we gather around the table to give thanks for a third NFL game on Turkey Day so we don’t have to actually interact with relatives, the Fantasy Football Party-goers also give thanks for you, the listener. And pumpkin pie.
Don’t ask us to prioritize.
Gathering a night early so that our respective families may enjoy the same juvenile humor you the listener are treated to on a weekly basis, the Party-goers dished out regrets from last week (John Harbaugh and his rotating backfield is banished to the kiddie table), passed the plate around a full slate of Week 12 games, and served up three 50/50 lineups so delicious we can guarantee there will be no leftovers.
Before you chow down on turkey, stuffing (not dressing), and sweet potatoes (preferably with marshmallows, no raisins please)—or after, we’re not the kind to judge—give a listen as Bo directed traffic to and around the turkey hole, 2V tested the limits of both his Zubaz waistband and the PC tolerance of nearby tables, and Magsh conducted the FFP’s first annual turkey drop in the JL Beers parking lot.
(Narrator: As God is my witness, he thought turkeys could fly.)
Of course, you’ll still get plenty of bullet-point material to drop at the dinner table when Crazy Uncle Ned asks how your fantasy team is doing; multiple helpings of players available in plenty of leagues who could pull your proverbial drumstick out of the fire this week; and a steaming pile of Duke Johnson discussion into which we didn’t even bother to insert Chubb or Smallwood.
(Narrator: Be thankful this holiday only comes around once a year.)

In a way, all of us has an El Guapo to face. For some, shyness might be their El Guapo. For others, a lack of education might be their El Guapo. For us, El Guapo is a big, dangerous man who wants to kill us. But as sure as our names are Lucky Day, Ned Nederlander, and Dusty Bottoms… uh, Anthony Maggio, Bo Mitchell, and John Tuvey, the people of Santa Poco—and anyone anywhere who hears our podcast—can conquer their own personal El Guapo, who also happens to be the actual El Guapo!
No one was more excited for Mexico to host a real live NFL game than the Spanish-speaking—or at least the Mexican food-loving—hosts of the Fantasy Football Party podcast. We had our Spanish sounders queued up, our guacamole ready to spread… and then the NFL goes and moves the game to the City of Angels because the field looked like a Bea Arthur Brazilian gone horribly awry.
Still, we persevered.
(Narrator: Way to gut it out, hombres).
There were the usual… what’s Spanish for shenanigans? El shenanigans? Los shenanigans? In any event, there were the usual shenanigans, with mucho regrets and bueno information and… okay, burrito is the only other Spanish word I know and it doesn’t really fit here. But it would be filling.
But we digress.
Highlights of the positively en fuego podcast included Bo reveling in his listener league win and talking about creating a double or even triple entry Pump N Go tournament; Mash reveling in his 50/50 win (again) and vouching for Anthony M’s everywhere; and 2V reveling in the high ABV of his Lift Bridge snifters while bemoaning the fact he was stuck playing in the Wrist Shot nightly.
Celebrate the catorce of the month with the vigor the Party-goers clearly did as you enjoy the Week 11 podcast and everything that goes along with it.

America needs a podcast like the Fantasy Football Party.
Other podcasts are made by people who came here illegally from other planets, beat puppies with wet noodles and metal tubing, and are beholden to the kicker lobbyists for lineup information. We’re almost 100 percent sure that’s true. And if it’s not, who cares?
Health care industry lobbyists injured your players on purpose. They’re passing legislation that will prevent you from starting players with pre-existing conditions, even if they’re not on the injury report.
And don’t even get us started about incompletions without representation.
As the country pulls itself together following the latest round of divisive elections, there’s no better time to turn to the Fantasy Football Party to put a turkey hole on every table and a Chubb in every lineup.
Thankfully, the political attack ads are behind us for at least a week or so, allowing us to turn our full attention to the fantasy football homestretch. And along those lines, the Party-goers were pleased to bring their unique brand of wit and wisdom to the Week 10 table. There were the usual suspects: death, taxes, and immediate regrets; a run-through of all the relevant news pertaining to this week’s slate of games; and lineups consisting of the dregs of fantasy football—or at least players at least half of you are actively ignoring.
(Narrator: Actively ignoring?)
(Narrator’s Intern: Forget it, he’s rolling.)
And of course you had Bo swearing off the temptation of the devil’s beverage to make a Duke reference so jaw-dropping it warranted a rim shot; Magsh pouring one out for all the Farm Girls he’s loved before—bravely, too, with his wife less than a frying pan’s length away; and 2V reasserting through actions and words that not only should he never run for public office, but that public officials should actively run from anything resembling his endorsement.
All of this was witnessed, much to her chagrin, by Magsh’s wife. The phrase, “outkicked his coverage” doesn’t do her justice.
We’re the Fantasy Football Party-goers, and we approved this message. Without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, your Week 10 edition of the Fantasy Football Party podcast. God bless America.

Bo was checking FantasyLabs late one night
When his eyes beheld an eerie sight
It wasn’t 2V gulping down fries
Instead he got a big surprise
He lost to Magsh
He lost 50/50 to Magsh
That bastard Magsh
Part of the FFP menage
Four wins for Magsh
It’s a fact we can’t dodge
All hail to Magsh
He’s the king of the lodge
Yes, your beloved Fantasy Football Party-goers cashed in their trick-or-treating candy early enough to make it to JL Beers in Burnsville to record the Week 9 podcast. The combination of tasty beverages, the sugar high, and a combined century-plus of juvenile humor led to a show that has been recorded for posterity. You’ll be party to history just listening to it.
Even with six teams on the bye the Party-goers found plenty to talk about, from a double regret stemming from placing opportunity above talent to half-owned guys you can use to fully own your league to a complete breakdown of all the fantasy-relevant news from this week’s games—and plenty of non-relevant detours down a road best marked NC-17.
Plus Magsh showed up as Saved by the Bell’s Principal Belding… wait, we’re being told he was Hogwarts maintenance engineer Haggard; 2V turned his weekly Zubaz into a poor imitation of the Road Warriors; and Bo took home the costume contest with his lifelike rendition of Richfield society icon Robert Mitchell.
(Narrator: At least he wore pants.)
And of course you had 2V spanning the globe of references from Mike Tyson’s Punch Out to DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince—and somehow bringing it all back to at least the neighborhood of fantasy football relevancy; Magsh wondering how the Lions’ offensive coordinator might adjust the length of Matthew Stafford’s pass attempts in the wake of Golden Tate’s departure—if only to be able to say “Cooter” and “dink” in close proximity; and Bo running up a nice 50/50 total while inserting his Chubb into lineup after lineup with blatant disregard for the consequences.
(Narrator: Thank the deity you choose to support this holiday only happens once a year.)

The Fantasy Football Party is a safe place. A place where we can feel free sharing our feelings. Think of our office in the beer hall at JL Beers in Burnsville as a nest in a tree of trust and understanding. We can say anything here.
Anything? Well, uh, I guess Bo, deep down, is feeling a little confused. I mean, suddenly, you set a 50/50 record and you’re supposed to be this entirely different guy. But he doesn’t feel different. I mean, take yesterday for example. We were out at the Olive Garden for a show meeting, which was lovely. And, uh, Bo happens to look over at a certain point during the meal and see Nick Chubb, and he found himself wondering what color his Under Armour might be. Uh, odds are they are probably basic white, cotton Under Armour. But he sort of thinks, well, maybe they’re spandex, maybe it’s blaze orange. Maybe it’s something really cool that we don’t even know about, you know, and uh, he started feeling… what?
Wait, I thought we were in the trust tree in the nest, were we not?
(Narrator: We were not, in fact, in the trust tree.)
Despite Bo’s confusion the Party-goers managed to string together enough cognizant thoughts to fill an hour-plus of podcasting. There were the usual suspects, like immediate regrets and news you can use and a brand spanking new batch of ragtag 50/50 lineups chasing Bo’s behemoth score. There were the usual Smallwood and Chubb references, along with a gaggle of other juvenile humor sprinkled amongst the actionable fantasy intel.
And then you had Bo knocking over his rare craft-brewed in New Ulm malted beverage, 2V polishing off a fistful of chicken fingers right in your ear, and Magsh desperately trying to keep this spinning vortex of a podcast at least in the same zip code as the rails it veers wildly from.
One more thing: we’re going streaking!!!! We’re going streaking through the quad and into the gymnasium! Come on everybody!

It’s October, which means many things to many people. The leaves are changing colors, the fantasy football season is reaching its midpoint, and Oktoberfest celebrations bring ales of many flavors to great beer halls like the one at JL Beers in Burnsville.
It’s also the official “Cancer is Bad” month in the NFL, which is a serious event indeed… though the Fantasy Football Party-goers, in their own inimitable way, managed to find a silly side to Bo’s visit to Dr. Jellyfinger.
(Narrator: Well, it is. Bad. Cancer, I mean)
But before things spiraled completely out of control—the show, not the outpatient procedure—the Party-goers managed to break down a slate of games with four teams on the bye, drafted a lineup of players at least half of you apparently hate, and opened up about their immediate regrets. Let’s just say Bo’s involved the dearth of lubricants in the medical profession and leasing rubber gloves with an option to buy.
(Narrator: Bo doesn’t have any. Elephant books.)
Plus there was a raucous crowd knocking back drafts like the tap was stuck on turbo, which led to Bo leading the entire bar in a show-stopping rendition of “Moon River”. Then you had 2V making more Brock Osweiler puns (Brock Brock. Who’s there? Bears defense. Bears’ defense who? I know, right?), Magsh saving a fruit fly from drowning in his beer before crushing it like a Browns’ fan’s dreams on his show script, and Bo… well, after recovering from his Smallwood/Chubb stack, Bo dropped some sage advice about acquiring all the Alvin Kamaras you can get.
(Narrator: Breathe easy. Ever serve time?)
After all, the best way to avoid cancer is to not get it.
(Narrator: What the hell just happened?)

Once upon a time… not so long ago…
Tuvey used to work on the docks, Magsh has been on strike, Bo’s down on his luck… it’s tough, so tough.
Ajayi won’t be able to play, Clement is Bo’s man but for Smallwood Magsh pays… for love, for love.
We say you’ve got to listen to have a shot, it doesn’t make a difference if it’s redraft or not. We’ve got DFS and that’s a lot to love. So you should give it a thought.
Woah, we’re half way there!
Woah, with info to share!
Download this pod, you’ll love it we swear!
Woah, Trubisky’s a Bear.
Wait… what?
This episode of The Fantasy Football Party podcast marks the halfway point in our season of shows, so excuse us if we’re calling on Jon Bon Jovi to help us celebrate. After all, we had Big Ten volleyball on the TVs at JL Beers, a City Lights Coconut Porter to die for, and Bo claimed his first 50/50 win of the season thanks in no small part to his unflagging faith in Ryan Succop and the Smallwood/Chubb total package.
The Party-goers also discussed whether Russell Wilson and David Johnson would be there for you this season, whether Alex Smith gives fantasy quarterbacks a bad name, and how you should never say goodbye to Eric Ebron—especially with Jack Doyle out another week. Plus Bo tabled the turns on a sneaky Michael Scott reference, Magsh staunchly refused to mix audio drops into the show, and 2V broke character to deliver a poignant take on the passing of his college football coach and honoring his high school coach for going into the school’s Hall of Fame.
Bet you didn’t see that coming. Yep, it was that kind of show. Don’t be a little runaway, hit play and let the dulcet tones of the Party-goers soothe your senses and bulk up your fantasy knowledge.

You knew it was going to be one of those nights when Bo grabbed Smallwood, then talked up the need for giving Chubb more touches.
Yes, the Fantasy Football Party-goers have the collective juvenile mindset of prepubescent teenage boys, but at least they refrained from making a Curtis Enis joke.
(Narrator: They didn’t.)
But double-entendres aside, the FFP podcast is chock full of everything you could possibly need to school your fantasy league and fill your DFS coffers with lots and lots of do-re-mi. In this episode alone you had our personal regrets from Week 5, all the news that matters to your fantasy-addled brain, and 50/50 teams that allow the Party-goers some friendly competition while cluing you in on players who might be available to adequately fill a bye-week hole or otherwise fix a busted lineup.
And then there was Magsh bearing down in the face of a Cubs collapse and a Bears bye; 2V pontificating on the proliferation of points and how it should (or—spoiler alert—shouldn’t) affect your future plans; and Bo battling through the fit of giggles and a bevy of stiff drinks to go hard after his Smallwood/Chubb stack while packaging a bunch of junk together to combat the lightning rod of… well, you know where this is going and it will only end poorly.
As Anthony Weiner once said, “I’ll text it to you.”

The FF Party hosts are nothing if not able to take a misheard report and run amok with it. They can also take a nothing day and make it all seem worthwhile, but that’s a theme for another set of show notes. This week it was John Brown practicing without pants (Pants? You mean “pads”? Forget it, he’s rolling) that captivated the crew, who themselves dropped Zubaz-themed trou in syncronicity with the Ravens receiver, accuracy be damned.
But that’s a visual cue; you’ll be listening to the audio portion of the program, so get that image of Bo in his boxers, Magsh in his tightie whities, and 2V in something unusual you may not have even heard of right out of your mind; we’ve got a show to pitch.
As per usual, the boys unleashed a flurry of regrets from Week 3 before breaking down the key fantasy facets of every game on the Week 4 slate and standing back while each Party-goer unrolled their 50/50 squad. Plus, Bo stuck by his beloved Corey Clement while refusing to grab Smallwood, Magsh lamented the lack of a cure for the rash of Cat Scratch Fever that claimed Mike Nugent’s wang dang sweet season, and 2V bemoaned the performance of Latavious Murray and the local squad, which left a state-wide stench resembling a used diaper filled with expired Indian food.
Can we get a collective “huh”? Yep, it’s the Week 4 edition of the Fantasy Football Party podcast, and it must be heard to be believed. Just press play!

Maybe it was the temporary new location (JL Beers, of course, but this one in Nordeast Minneapolis). Maybe it was the raucous crowd or the lack of a Beer Hall for recording purposes. Or maybe it was Bo’s bushy mane of chest hair bursting forth from his half-zipped Zubaz track jacket, only partially hidden by DeSean Jackson’s jewelry—which, apparently, doubles as a hood ornament for a gold-plated semi.
Bo’s chest jungle aside, the Week 3 edition of the Fantasy Football Party was once again jam-packed with all the news you give a (potty word) about, as well as regrets that made our Week 2 just a little south of perfect and 50/50 lineups that help you identify spot-start season-long targets as well as shoehorn all the big boppers into your DFS lineups.
Plus, Bo flushed the latrine and hopped off the Browns bandwagon—and right into the awkward embrace of Corey Clement; Magsh shook off the fog of Seattle—where pot is legal and DFS isn’t—to work the board like Zedd (trust me, your kids will get the reference); and 2V was finally—finally!—able to down his dinner before it cooled well below room temperature during yet another marathon gabfest of an FF Party. Amazing what actually using silverware can do.
So pour a tall beverage, gimme somethin’ to write on (man), and prepare yourself for all the fantasy football wisdom and smart-assery that is the Week 3 edition of the Fantasy Football Party.

For a moment, it felt as if the 2018 season of the Fantasy Football Party podcast was over. Magsh lay supine on the floor, as close to the afterworld as one could possibly be without crossing over. Was this it? Would he ever walk again? Would we have to turn to Deshone Kizer to cohost the show the rest of the way?
Nah. Magsh isn't a spineless drama princess. He got up, dusted himself off, and the show went on.
That means these gritty, gutty troopers brought you news on every game being played this weekend, shared their fantasy-football related regrets, and broke down the who's and why's of another round of 50/50 teams. Plus, 2V once again salivated over a tasty burger while trying to make it through the show without chewing into the microphone; Magsh scraped himself up off the Lambeau Field tundra, frozen only as much as Kyle Fuller's hands and the hearts of Packer co-owners, to once again seamlessly helm the show; and Bo... well, Bo drafted Corey Clement and the Browns. Again. And again.
It's a show for the ages, or at least for Week 2. Enjoy in moderation.

Oh, hi, didn't see you there listening. The whole Huey Lewis bit started last year when Magsh booted up our show and accidentally queued up a Huey tune instead. So we've beaten that bad boy into the ground--much like Bo's love for the Cleveland Browns, which is spelled out ad nausem in this episode. Plus, we kick off the regular season with our 50/50 teams, run through all the important news from every game, and regret the mistakes we've made this preseason. As an added bonus, media supernova Dave Bergren sat in with the show and pondered to trade or not trade Le'Veon Bell. No worries, 2V showed up as well; he's just recovering from the JLpeno sandwich that set his mouth on fire. It's all that and more, wrapped up in our longest podcast of the year--just in time to set your course for Week 1 of the 2018 fantasy season!

The final FF Party preseason podcast was predictably prescient--and if you're anything like 2V you're probably pronouncing that poorly. Bo amazed the audience with all his awesome alliteration, Magsh bounced back and forth between bits of breaking news and bashing the 'Boys' bad receivers, and 2V trashed a trendy quarterback while touting a terrific tiny pass-catcher and tossing back two tasty beverages.
Plus, the Party-goers presented parting thoughts, posted pretty yet pertinent pictures, and polished off plenty of libations while parting ways with the NFL preseason. Hop off the bus, Gus; it ain't rhymin' Simon but the boys are too hip to be square. Make no sense at all? Who cares? The regular season is almost here, and everything you need to treat your league like Mychal Kendricks treats a stock tip can be found by simply pressing "play".

Longtime friend of the Fantasy Football Party Huey Lewis once sang he finally found a home, and the FFP crew did the same as Episode 3 of the podcast landed, for the entirety of the 2018 season, at JL Beers in Burnsville.
Comfortably ensconced in the friendly confines of the Beer Hall, our suds-soaked warriors sampled JL Beers' 48 taps and their outstanding array of delicacies; in between sips, discussion centered around players we love more than perhaps is socially acceptable, offensive lines porous enough to make Sponge Bob envious, and all the news you need to know to treat your league like Bryce Mitchell treats the family jewels.
Plus, Bo dropped some inside statistical knowledge, Magsh tried to digest a jalapeño without benefit of chewing, and 2V mixed the Faribault Moon Boots with the Grain Belt Blu to create the tastiest PB&J you'll ever drink. And as an added bonus, Zone Coverage's Ben Remington joined the show to explain what exactly a lower body injury entails.
It was raw, it was risky... dare we say it was both raw AND risky! Your draft and/or auction is almost upon you, so set yourself up for success by drinking in the hop-encrusted knowledge provided by this week's Fantasy Football Party podcast!

Sundays are for football, and with the Fantasy Football Party 2018 slate starting a little later than anticipated our trio of heroes took full advantage with a very special edition of the show. There was, of course, all the news you need to know, as well as discussion of the fantasy prospects -- both dynasty and redraft -- for rookie quarterbacks and tight ends. Then the lads broke down auction strategy for both newbies and veterans alike, wrapping up the show with an elite-level breakdown of the league's top offensive lines and how you can spin that information to assist your fantasy preparations. Plus Bo did this, Magsh did that, and 2V did the other thing -- because, why wouldn't they? Are you still reading the show notes? What the heck for? Plug in your podcast machine and kick off your week with the unexpected aural treat provided by this very special edition of the Fantasy Football Party.

Oh yeah, Party people, here we go!
It’s a new host—thanks, Zone Coverage!—and a venue to be determined, but the Fantasy Football Party podcast is back in all its raging glory. In our first show of 2018 we covered all the news you need to care about, broke down the first round of a typical redraft, highlighted the fantasy prospects of rookie running backs and wide receivers, and gave you a peek behind the curtain into our draft strategy as you prepare for your own upcoming player dispersal event. Plus, Magsh worked his new equipment, Bo kept the show from veering wildly off course, and 2V took full advantage of the stretchiness of the Zubaz waistband by putting away a full pound of Potato Olés. If, like Baxter, you don’t speak Spanish… how about some French, as we went oui oui with Ballage-e-trois; yes, the FFP innuendo game was in midseason form—and that includes backs with benefits and handcuffs, both fuzzy and otherwise. We’re happy you made an effort to follow the FF Party as we break new ground (and some wind as well).
Now… please return your seats and tray tables to their locked and upright position, and strap yourself in for the ride. Party people, rock the house!
