Yielding to God should be easier than what we sometimes make it. His Spirit is ever present in the lives of believers in order that He shines through to bring a greater light into a darkened lost world. We must yield to Him, so He can lead us, and in turn please Him. “God will continually revitalize you, implanting within you the passion to do what pleases him.”Philippians 2:13 TPT
“Since Christ, though innocent, suffered in his flesh for you, now you also must be a prepared soldier, having the same mind-set, for whoever has died in his body is done with sin. For you have already spent enough time doing what unbelievers love to do—living in debauchery, sensuality, partying, drunkenness, wild drinking parties, and the worship of demons.”1 Peter 4:1-3 TPT

Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless.“Galatians 5:22-23 TPTWhen we confess and receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit comes to live in us. He brings His glorious attributes of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control that help us grow up and mature in Him. For the fruit of the Spirit to grow in us, we must align our lives to His. We must know Him, love Him, remember Him and imitate Him.🙏🏽
This episode was inspired from the insightful article written by Matt Perman. In it we find six (6) core things that Christ accomplished for all of us. 1) Expiation - is removing our sin and guilt, 2) Propitiation - removing God’s wrath and giving us His favor, 3) Reconciliation - removing our alienation from God, 4) Redemption - releasing the power of sin by breaking its control over us, 5) defeating the power of darkness, and 6) Christ died as our substitute. May we never forget the incredible price Christ paid for us. He who knew no sin, became sin for us and made it possible to come to know God the Father in an intimate relationship. Because of Christ, we have an open invitation to come to personally know God for ourselves. 🙏🏽
True believers should never take the “freedom” that Christ afforded us by dying on the cross only to continue in habitual, sinful behaviors. He wants all of our heart, so that He can live fully through us as we learn to walk practically through Him. As the heart is surrendered and changed, so will our old lifestyles and behaviors.🙏🏼
”But when you yield to the life of the Spirit, you will no longer be living under the law, but soaring above it!“Galatians 5:18 TPTJesus died that we might live a victorious life through Him‼️🙏🏼
To live and walk with Christ by His Spirit brings us great freedom whereby we are no longer ruled under the tyranny of our sinful nature. Thank God that Jesus has set us free, and His ever present Spirit enables us to live free!🙏🏼

”So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One. For the “law” of the Spirit of life flowing through the anointing of Jesus has liberated us from the “law” of sin and death. For God achieved what the law was unable to accomplish, because the law was limited by the weakness of human nature. Yet God sent us his Son in human form to identify with human weakness. Clothed with humanity, God’s Son gave his body to be the sin-offering so that God could once and for all condemn the guilt and power of sin. For God did not send his Son into the world to be its judge, but to be its savior.“ Satan has tried to make us believe that God is unloving, unfair and unjust. He wants us to believe that Jesus came to sentence and judge us, but we have found out that this is not true. Jesus came to save, rescue and help the world! Jesus came to make God the Father known to the whole world, and to save it from its sin. John 3:16-17 GNT
”About judgment, because the ruler (evil genius, prince) of this world [Satan] is judged and condemned and sentence already is passed upon him.“John 16:11 AMPCGod the Holy Spirit exposes the real truth of sin, righteousness and judgment. Jesus’ first coming and objective was to reconcile mankind back to God. He paid for our sin and gave us His righteousness. With Him being lifted on the cross, He judged the enemy and rendered him powerless. Jesus is the Savior for the whole world - to anyone who will believe and receive Him. He came to dispel the darkness and lies of satan. God loves His creation and wants a relationship with each of us. He proved His love by dying in our place. Let’s tell the world about Him everywhere we go.🙏🏼
St John 16: 10 (GNT) says “… they are wrong about what is right, because I am going to the Father and you will not see me any more;”… Sadly, the world has been blinded to think that God doesn’t want them nor care to be approached by them because of how they live. This lie has been repeatedly spun by the enemy. God’s righteous, however, has nothing to do with us (whether right or wrong), but it does have everything to do with what Jesus did by coming and dying on the cross for mankind! Jesus, who is God in the flesh, came to right the wrong that Adam did. Jesus was the only perfect man, and, therefore, the only Righteous One. The Holy Spirit makes the non-believing world well aware of this lie. When we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, He gives us His righteousness and removes our unrighteousness. God desires to have an intimate relationship with all who accept His gift of salvation.🙏🏼
”When he comes, he’ll expose the error of the godless world’s view of sin, righteousness, and judgment: He’ll show them that their refusal to believe in me is their basic sin; …”John 16:8-9 MSGThe Holy Spirit reveals that the sin of not believing Him and not our wrongs are what keeps us from Him. He wants an intimate relationship with you and me, and therefore has done everything needed to make that possible!🙏🏼
The Holy Spirit does not keep away from an unbelieving world. On the contrary, He sheds light on and exposes the truth about what sin, righteousness and judgment really are. The Father draws or compels the unbeliever -who sincerely wants to know more - to Himself to be fully received and fully loved! God always shows forth His Amazing Grace🙏🏼
“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.“John 15:4-5 KJV. Jesus wants our lives to flourish and be in abundance, but that can only happen as we abide, remain, lodge, sojourn, dwell, and endure in HIM. No matter the circumstance or challenge, we must remain in HIM for our nourishment and survival. We will live our best lives when we abide in HIM. ”So you must remain in life-union with me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to mine. “I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless.“John 15:4-5 TPT. 🙏🏼
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The foundations of heaven and earth were laid by God. He is the Beginning and the End. As believers, we should purpose to enter into the year 2024, with an even greater determination to draw closer to Jesus. And for those who don’t know Him yet, I pray that you seek and receive Him as Lord and Savior. Who would best know how to lead and guide all of us than the One who created us? The One who was here in the beginning, who came before us and who knows the way. Start with JESUS!🙏🏼
”Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]“John 14:27 AMPCHis gift of Peace is greater than any present under a tree. May we seek Him with all our hearts. We will find He’s always been there and only asked that we invite Him in to stay!💕🙏🏼

And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.”John 14:26 AMPCGod the Holy Spirit was given by God the Father at the request of Jesus, God the Son, who sent Him to indwell in all believers. May you experience His intimate presence in and through your life as you seek to yield and obey His leading each day🙏🏼
“And I will ask the Father and he will give you another Savior, the Holy Spirit of Truth, who will be to you a friend just like me—and he will never leave you. [As Jesus is the Savior from the guilt of sin, the Holy Spirit is the Savior who saves us from the power of sin by living through us in fullness.] The world won’t receive him because they can’t see him or know him. But you know him intimately because he remains with you and will live inside you. I promise that I will never leave you helpless or abandon you as orphans—I will come back to you!”John 14:16-18 TPTMay we allow God the Holy Spirit to have free course in and through our lives, so we can be all we are meant to be!🙏🏼
Walking by faith and not by sight speaks to us that what is seen is no where near as important as what is not yet seen. It means to fix our eyes on what is eternal and not on the temporary. Life in the physical is only a minuscule part of who we are and it cannot go with us into eternity! The Holy Spirit is the guarantee of the greater and higher life who will usher us into the presence of God the Father. 🙏🏼
“But the just shall live by faith [My righteous servant shall live by his conviction respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, and holy fervor born of faith and conjoined with it]; Hebrews 10:38a AMPCOur faith is the substance for which Jesus the Christ provided by coming as a man, dying as the penalty for our sins on the cross which reconciled us back to God. He offers His gift of salvation to all who will believe in what He did for each of us. Now because of us receiving Him as our Lord and Savior, we are conjoined to Him and house His Holy Spirit within us Who leads, guides and directs us through our life’s journey. We do life together and not apart! There is no amount of work we could do to ever warrant our salvation or to even keep us saved. It is all because of what Christ did and Him alone!🙏🏼

We are Christ’s representatives wherever we may be. May we desire and spend those precious times in your Word and prayer, so we can touch the lives around us with your life-giving message. May they hear your heart through how we, Your children, live and share Your love with them.🙏🏼
“The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see.” Hebrews 11:1 MSGOur faith must totally rest on our trust in Jesus Christ. We know that what He says will come to pass at His appointed time.🙏🏼

He wants us to show more of Himself through us on the earth. May we pray each day to be more like Him and less like ourselves by the power He gives us to do so🙏🏼
“But if we freely admit our sins when his light uncovers them, he will be faithful to forgive us every time. God is just to forgive us our sins because of Christ, and he will continue to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 TPT🙏🏼Forgiveness must first start with confession🌷
“Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. This is our part 3 and concluding episode of Colossians 1:15 NLT, “Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation.” God had to come as a man and undo and repair the breach that the first man Adam caused. We are very thankful He came to earth to reclaim us and for doing all that it took to put us back in right standing with God. 🙏🏼
Jesus Christ is the very image of the invisible God, according to Colossians 1:15 (NIV) He is the only one to ever gaze upon the full splendor of God! Since He came into the world, He unfolded the full explanation of who God truly is (John 1:18 TPT) He came to resolve the sin issue once and for all, and gave us a better understanding of God’s love for all of mankind.🙏🏼
Jesus Christ is the very image of the invisible God. He is God in the flesh. Isaiah 9:6 prophesied that a child would be born. He had two names named that specifically identified Him as having always been, Mighty God and Everlasting Father. John 1:1 declares that the Word was God and became flesh in verse 14. God gave Himself a body to ensure mankind’s restoration back to Himself!🙏🏼
Colossians 1:19 TPT “For God is satisfied to have all his fullness dwelling in Christ.”AMPC “For it has pleased [the Father] that all the divine fullness (the sum total of the divine perfection, powers, and attributes) should dwell in Him permanently.”JESUS CHRIST is GOD in the flesh. He is the image of the invisible God in bodily form. Because of His death on the cross and being raised from the dead, Jesus Christ has completely removed all barriers to get to God. Christ did ALL that needed to be done to make the way clear for us. We only need to accept His wonderfully gracious gift of salvation, and then walk totally surrendered to Him each day.🙏🏼
Philippians 2:13 AMPC “Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.” Once we become vitally in union with Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are completely equipped with everything we need to do His will and please Him. He does it all! 🙏🏼
In Matt 11:28 -30, Jesus says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” For those of us bound and weighted down by sin and the law, Jesus offers Himself to us. He has broken sin’s dominion over mankind, so He gives a standing invitation to anyone who asks Him into their lives by His Spirit. Thus, we become yoked with Him. and He willingly shoulders the greater burdens, challenges and weights we will face in this life. Come to Jesus today, learn of Him, and let Him lead you all the way🙏🏼
Matt. 10:26 (TPT) tells us to not be afraid or intimidated by others because God will bring everything out in the open and every secret will be revealed. God forewarned His disciples not to be surprised by opposers and those who would seek to persecute them. We must keep our focus on Jesus and stay true to Him. For He will uncover and correct every wrong done against His own in His time🙏🏼
Luke 9:23,24 let’s us know that in order to be with Jesus, we must deny ourselves and take up our cross daily. Jesus bought our salvation by dying on the cross for our sins. In turn we must die to ourselves each day to be with Him. Since He died for us, let us purpose to “live” for Him🙏🏼
The Holy Spirit is super intelligent! He wants to pray through every believer God’s perfect will for them and other believers. We are so blessed that God has so equipped us to not only defeat the enemy, but to speak with Him directly and perfectly every time🙏🏼
Ephesians 6:16-17, tells us to take up the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God! Who is our faith in? JESUS Who gifted us with salvation???? JESUS Who is the Living Word????? JESUS JESUS is our armor that we daily clothe ourselves with by His Spirit, who empowers us to live right for HIM🙏🏼
Ephesians 6:14-15 tells us we can stand our ground as we put on the belt of truth and the breastplate or the body armor of righteousness. Who is truth??? Jesus. Who is righteous??? Jesus Who or what is the Good News and brings us peace??? Jesus. Put on Jesus and allow Him to be fully Himself in you🙏🏼
Ephesians 6:12-13 tells us that our real fight is with supernatural evil opponents who wish to keep us from God’s appointed destinies! We must be fully prepared and equipped with God’s armor to successfully withstand the enemy’s attempts. He will try to stop us, but He cannot supersede God’s power or might. He knows he cannot win, but he hopes we don’t know that‼️🙏🏼
Ephesians 6:11 admonishes us to put on God’s complete armor, so we may be fully clothed for the devil’s plots and schemes. The enemy will attack, so be ready with what you need to fight to win God’s way🙏🏼
Beginning with this lesson, we will share about putting on God’s full armor. Beginning with Ephesians 6;10, we are instructed to “be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might.” Ephesians 6:10 AMP The empowerment that we’ll need for this life can and will only come because of our relationship with Christ. His strength becomes our own when we stay united with Him. 🙏🏼
If you are a child of God, He wants us as His children to pray to Him frequently. He desires to be respected and worshiped for who He is and praised for what He’s done. As we pray, may we be faithfully persistent and know that God will lovingly respond with what’s best for each of us!!🙏🏼
As a believer, we need to know and understand that only the works we wholly commit to God will prosper. When we don’t, what may look like success is only temporary and short-lived. It’s more important to fully entrust to God all our plans and work, in order that the greatest productivity can come from it and affect lives well beyond our own. In my estimation - that’s true success‼️🙏🏼
The prodigal son in Luke chapter 15 is a representation of mankind. We walked away from our loving Heavenly Father, much like this young man walked away from his. God has outstretched arms patiently waiting for our return. This young man finally came to himself, will we? 🙏🏼
From the Sermon on the Mount found in Matthew chapter 5, we find numerous examples of God’s kingdom which directly contrasts with the world’s system. In Matt 5:11-12, we even see where believers respond to trials and persecution differently. It’s because of our association with Christ, that we have exceeding joy even through insults and when being falsely accused. Why is this??? B/c we know our reward in heaven is absolutely inexhaustible! Other believers in past generations have experienced varied difficulties too, and their reward for enduring is just as great as ours. May our prayer be that the trials God allows will bring out the gold in us for His glory! 🙏🏼
II Chronicles 7:14 clearly states that if God’s people humble themselves, pray and seek the Father’s face and turn from their wicked ways, He would hear them, forgive their sin and heal their land. May we yield to God’s Spirit, who lives in us and empowers us to live lives that will please Him. It’s incumbent upon God’s people, not those in the world, to make a difference for God’s glory!🙏🏼
In John 17:21, we learn that God and Jesus share a oneness with each other! In this prayer of Jesus, He also wants us to be one with Him and the Father, so the world will be convinced that He was given as a gift to it from God.
Jesus declares in John 15:5 that He is the true vine. God (the gardener) wants us to be attached directly to His son (the true vine). Our nourishment comes only from Him; whereby we may bear much fruit after God prunes us. May our lives reflect our intimacy with Jesus through our faithful and fruitful walk with Him.🙏🏼
Jesus said in John 11:25, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” This verse follows perhaps the greatest miracle Jesus performed - specifically that of raising Lazarus from the dead! Although Jesus purposefully waited two more days after hearing of Lazarus’ sickness, He did so to bring glory and praise to God! This will reveal the greatness of the Son of God by what takes place. Jesus is the Lord over death and the giver of life. Jesus is God in the flesh! Hallelujah!!!🙏🏼
Jesus is our good shepherd and cares for our every need. In John 10:11, we find that as our good shepherd, he willingly gave his life for us. He died that we might live. A hireling does not care for the sheep, and will run for cover when danger threatens. He seeks only to protect himself. Jesus, however, as our good shepherd, knows each of us by name, and desires for us to know and experience Him more deeply.🙏🏼
St John 8:12, says Jesus spoke to the people and said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” When we accept and receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He comes in to live His life through us, and His life lights our way and shines through us to bring light to dark places! He is ever present and always shining. May we light the world with His grace and love.🙏🏼
Jesus declares in John 6:35 that He is the bread of life. Physical bread can sustain the physical body only temporarily, but receiving Jesus as our “bread of life” remains with us forever! Only JESUS gives eternal life🙏🏼
Jesus had to suffer and die on the cross not only to cleanse us of sin, but to fulfill all the prophecies about Himself! The disciples became absolutely convinced that Jesus was raised from the dead in complete and total victory over sin and the grave. Nothing now could deter them from teaching and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ - not even threats, accusations or death itself. They knew that their Redeemer was alive! He would be with them wherever they would go. They were sold out to Jesus! 🙏🏼
Jesus was resurrected from the grave to forever break sin’s dominion and death’s grip from off our lives. His victory is our victory. Because of Him we can live in complete assurance that our sins are forgiven and we will one day be raised from the grave just like HIM!🙏🏼JESUS LIVES‼️
Jesus death must be viewed personally by each one of us. We often hear how Jesus died for the world or for sinners, and that is true. He did die for us all, but Jesus died in our place - in my place as well as yours. Remember that sin pays a wage, and will always come to collect! It pays in death. We each had a debt to sin because of Adam that we could not pay. Jesus willfully became our substitute and died in our place, thereby removing the debt! Jesus died on the cross for us as us!🙏🏼 🌷
The account of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane found in Matthew 26:36-50, describes the agony and intense sorrow Jesus felt during prayer. He asked God if it were possible for the cup of suffering and death be taken away? Jesus resigned Himself to the fact that what He was asking three times for was not as important as finishing the work of man’s redemption on the cross at Calvary. We should be grateful and overjoyed that He thought we were worth saving and dying for. He submitted totally to the will of God the Father and chose to die in our place!😔🙏🏼
The firm foundation of our faith is that Jesus is God in the flesh. God’s plan was that in the fullness of time, He would give Himself a body and come into the world to die for all mankind. Jesus came to be our substitute and die for our sins. Without us Not believing in Jesus, we are already condemned because, we stand before God apart from Jesus. Only Jesus can resolve the sin issue and reconcile us back to the Father. We are unable and unfit to do it for ourselves. Thank God for Jesus and what He has already done for all of us - now all we must do is: A- admit we’re a sinner, B- believe that Jesus came to right our wrong and C- confess Him as our Savior and Lord! 🙏🏼💕
Matt 4:4 clearly shows us how Jesus from the beginning addresses the devil only with the Word of God. No matter the circumstance, God’s Word will always be our best defense in stabilizing any situation we might find ourselves facing. Follow the example of Jesus and stay with the Word of God🙏🏼
God showed His infinite love for us by sending His Son to come and die in our place. Romans 5:8
These verses clearly state that there is not a single one righteous before God apart from Jesus, His Son! Only through a personal relationship with Jesus can we be in right standing with God. Only when we accept by faith what Jesus did for us and receive Him as our Lord and Savior can we be justified before God.🙏🏼
Sin always comes with a price, and physical death cannot be escaped. It comes to each of us, but to the one who has accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior it cannot spiritually separate us from our Lord. He has forever removed death’s sting and victory over us. Because of His death on the cross and resurrection from the grave, He has utterly defeated our common enemy, death, once and for all. Today you can accept Him ad your Lord and know that your eternity with Him is secured. 🙏🏼
God knew the right time to send Jesus to pay for the sins of mankind. He did what no one else was capable of doing. He being the perfect lamb of God died for the ungodly. Praise God that He did it!!!🙏🏼
God allows trials to come into our lives to help produce endurance and maturity. We should ask God for His wisdom to guide, strengthen and develop us through the things that we suffer🙏🏼
When we confess and receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are placed into His body by the Holy Spirit. We are all vital members of His body, and He expects us to live our lives for His glory and work together to represent Him to a lost world! May our lives reflect His love, and draw souls to Jesus to change the world🙏🏼
Jesus is both, God the Son and son of David. Jesus is God in the flesh, who came as as a man - born from the lineage of King David just as promised. Jesus allows us to know Him when we are open and accept Him for who He is - GOD‼️
God wants us to love Him with every passion of our heart, with all the energy of our being, and with every thought that is within us. The Holy Spirit, who is the greatest teacher, can show us how to love in a way that pleases Him! As we fall more and more in love with our LORD, we will find it increasingly easier to love our neighbor as ourselves. His love can and will fill all in all!🙏🏼
“Timing is the Father’s business.” (Acts 1:7 Mssg Bible). I believe as I have asked the Father each year for “one” Word from Him, to help me better focus for the year, He has always provided one. For 2023, the word is “Timing”. God who is eternal, involves Himself in our “chronos” time (i.e. everyday living, our daily life routines lived out in days, months, years). His “kairos” time is God’s appointed hour for Him to impact us within our “chronos” moments of life. Now the question is - “will we be faithful to do what He asks of us in our daily living while waiting for Him to supernaturally intersect in our everyday moments? When He comes is the Father’s business, but He will surely come! What is man that He is mindful of us or the son of man that He would visit us? Our God is AMAZING‼️🙏🏼
All Scripture is God- breathed (i.e. given by His inspiration and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience and for training in righteousness. God gives us His word so we may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work. God has provided what we need for success His way!🙏🏼
God has given us everything through His Son, Jesus, to make our walk with Him successful. Unconfessed sin will darken our path and keep us distant from God. When we confess our sins, He’s faithful and just to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. God forgives the sins we confess.🙏🏼
Wherever any of us may stand - either for, against or in the middle about Christmas, one thing is certain, Jesus Christ came as the greatest gift to the world. He brought His grace of salvation to humankind without cost! Jesus Christ is undisputedly, God’s love gift to all who will receive HIM. If you haven’t already, would you accept HIM now by faith as your Lord and Savior? 🙏🏼
Jesus is the completion - in full - of the Godhead in human, bodily form. He is God in the flesh. And just as Jesus is the fullness of God, in like manner, we the Church, are the fullness of Christ on earth! Let us daily seek to be like HIM🙏🏼
As we learn to pray about everything with thanksgiving to God, He in turn fortifies us with His peace. So much so, that the things that would have tried to make us anxious and fearful are now in God’s crosshairs. He will guide us around or in some cases through them victoriously. This peace He gives - sets us up to think right, and with practice we’ll begin to think more like Him and less like the world.🙏🏼🌷
It is a comfort to know that upon Christ’s return, He will come for both those who died believing in Him as well as believers who are alive on earth at His return! While we yet live here, we have the privilege to choose where our forever home will be. The greatest joy we can give our Heavenly Father, is to choose to be with Him forever!🙏🏼🌷
With God, all things are possible. So the antithesis is, without God, ALL things ARE NOT possible. It takes a life fully persuaded that God can and will do whatever He says, and not get “bogged down” with appearances. God supersedes any and all natural occurrences and does what HE does best - and that is - be GOD!🙏🏼
When you and I pray, we should not focus or stress over when the prayer will be answered, but rather focus on what God expects of me in the “waiting.” I believe we should be “actively waiting” by doing the work He’s assigned us. That part never changes even though we may be believing for something else from Him. Remember we don’t get to know the time, that’s His business!🙏🏼
Jesus is our High Priest. He understands all that we go through b/c He has experienced the same, yet He did not sin. In spite of what He went through, He chose to keep His total confidence and focus on our Heavenly Father, who brought Him through each and every trial victoriously! May we follow His example as we are empowered by His Spirit to do the same.🌷🙏🏼
In this passage, Jesus prayed for even those in the future, namely us and all who would ever come to know, trust and follow Him. Jesus loved all of us so much that He made a point of praying for us before facing His arrest and the terrible death of the cross. We are truly loved and blessed‼️🙏🏼🌷
We have been intricately and exquisitely made by our Creator and loving Father! We are constantly in God’s thoughts and He desires you and I to be in an intimate relationship with Him🙏🏼
Blessings can and do come in all shapes and sizes. Don’t be neglectful of any, but be thankful to our Heavenly Father for each and every one of them‼️🙌🏼🙌🏼🫶🏽
God is all knowing, all powerful and everywhere all at the same time. He intimately knows and cares for each of us, even before we were born! How could we ever turn away from such a love like that?💕
Because we have chosen to dwell in the shelter of the most High, and love Him, He has promised to always be where we are. He will deliver us from trouble, rescue and honor us with a long and satisfying life. God is determined to bless us to the “nth” degree🙏🏼
God knows the plans He has for us, and they don’t change even when we disobey Him. Even then He wants to prosper and not harm us -to give us hope and a future.🌷
God’s Word is perfect in every way. It makes us joyful and challenges us to keep close to His heart! The rarest treasures of life are found in God’s Word. May the words of our mouths and every movement of our hearts be pleasing, acceptable and pure before HIM🌷
For the believer, the death of the natural body makes way for the new and imperishable spiritual body. Death has no victory nor sting of sin for the believer because of our Lord Jesus Christ!🌷
Christ proved His supreme and indisputable sovereignty by being resurrected from the dead. His completed assignment of dying for man’s sin and being raised from death guarantees those of us who belong to Him will be raised as well. There’s more life- in fact a greater life- on the other side of this one🌷
As we commit our thoughts fully to the Lord, He will then cause our thoughts to come into agreement with His will, and so shall our plans be established and succeed. It is only in those ways that we give fully to Him that He will direct. What we keep for ourselves, He lets us direct! Who knows this life better than God, so let us take wholeheartedly our directions from Him alone!🌷
If we have a small living faith, as that of a grain of mustard seed, we will see much accomplished for the kingdom. It’s because we put our small faith in our “Big” God, who can do anything but fail🌷🙏🏼
One of my favorite scriptures. Here Paul, while in prison, joyously declares that God abundantly supplies every need whether it be spiritual or material to us all b/c of Christ Jesus!🌷
John 16:33- Jesus has already conquered the world. So when hard times, troubles and sorrows come in life, take heart. Jesus’ Spirit lives in us to encourage and assure us that He’s already conquered everything we may ever face, and He’ll see us through any adversity!🌷
Romans 8:35-39 is absolute in stating that nothing in the universe can ever separate us from God’s love. His love for us is permanent and everlasting‼️🙏🏼
Romans 8:30-34 God has both called and justified us. He didn’t withhold His best from us, and He will graciously give us other good things as well. No one or no thing can separate us from the love of God! His love for us is forever🙏🏼💕
The Holy Spirit is here to assist us and bears us up when we are weak! He will pray God’s perfect will for our lives because He can. He is God the Holy Spirit in us‼️🙏🏼
Our spiritual debt to the sinful flesh has been paid in full by Jesus Christ. Therefore, we are no longer obligated to live under its dominion. We should grow and live fully for Christ. Our daily lives should reflect how much we love God through our obedience to Him.🌷
The Spirit of Christ empowers your life. You’re no longer dominated by the flesh, but rather by God’s Spirit. Christ lives His life in you!🌷
When we accept Christ’s payment for our sins by receiving Him as Lord and Savior, He assures us His Spirit will be present to help. The indwelling Holy Spirit will empower us to deny the flesh and walk successfully in the Spirit.🌷
Adam’s disobedience brought all of us under sin. We didn’t have a choice. However through Jesus’ obedience, many shall be made righteous. With what Jesus did, we’re given the choice to choose grace over sin. His grace affords us righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord!🙏🏼
Adam’s sin brought death to all men, but Jesus Christ’s gracious gift leaves us free from our many failures. Jesus brings us into the perfect righteousness of God. We are declared acquitted- “Not Guilty.”
Because of Adam’s sin, death came into the world and reigned as king. Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, came and defeated sin, reconciling us back to God and forever settling the power of sin over man once and for all‼️
For it is through the blood of Jesus we have heard the powerful declaration, “You are now righteous in my sight.” Thank God for Jesus’ ultimate and complete sacrifice. He paid it ALL for us. Our having peace with God was most important to Him🙏🏼
When we finally realize that as a child of God, we are completely loved and never alone, then we can better understand that trials can never separate us from Him either. I believe troubles give God more opportunities to show the world to what extent He takes to help His children advance and become more like Him! There is no failure in God🙏🏼
God uses the troubles and trials of this life to help His children develop patient endurance! Heat is to gold like pressure is to our lives. Both bring out impurities and help us look more like the one doing the refining. God wants us to mature and become more like HIM🌷🙏🏼
B/c of our faith, Christ has brought us into the highest place of privilege where we now stand enjoying God’s grace and glory. That’s why when we run into trials and troubles in life, we know they are good for us and help us to be more like HIM!!!🌷
Romans 5:1-2 introduces us into the wonderful peace we gain from God due to us being justified by faith. Because of Christ, He has afforded us access by faith into His wonderful grace! We can, as a result, rejoice in knowing that what we desired from God (His peace) and what He desired to give us all along was one and the same- His peace.🌷
I know we might think we must do something to earn God’s love and approval. But that is not the case in today’s episode. Christ did what no one else was capable of doing! He canceled our debt to sin, and nailed our sins to the cross. He freely died for us so that we can freely live for Him‼️🙏🏼
Christ has rendered powerless our sinful nature. So, it no longer has dominion over us, but rather He’s empowered us to have victory over it. The new life in Christ, as symbolized by baptism, is one that has been raised with Him through our faith in the power of God! We belong to God and no longer to the sin nature‼️
Jesus Christ our Lord has given us the great gift of freedom to be like our Creator. We are no longer confined to live based upon worldly standards, but to live far beyond the world’s limited view and be like Jesus!
Romans 4: 23-25 concludes our discussion on God crediting us as righteous as He did Abraham. When we fully believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead, God credits us as righteous! It was Jesus and not us who died for our sins. Jesus alone was raised to life for our justification‼️🙏🏼
Be fully persuaded about God’s Word and not the circumstances around you. God’s Word will always prevail🙏🏼
Facts change, but Truth never does. God is Truth and He can be relied upon to do just what He says!
Believing God oftentimes will appear to be the opposite of what we might be seeing at the time. Just know that God is greater than facts!!! HE is TRUTH in every way, so trust in HIM no matter what.‼️🌷
Any weaknesses given to God (placed under His control) releases God’s power in our lives. It allows us to keep our focus and continue to move forward w/our assignment(s) from Him! God’s grace is all sufficient to keep and sustain us in and through any circumstance.
The greatest thing we need from God is probably the least thing most of us experience - Intimacy!
The depth of God’s love and provision are far beyond what we can dare ask or even think. Oh, how He loves us💕
Let God strengthen you to do the things He’s called you to do! He can and wants to take you places you’ve never been. Will you let Him?🙏🏼
God is our protector and our champion‼️Who should we fear, with God on our side? Wait on the Lord and He’ll always come through for you🙏🏼
God’s call to Abraham and His promise to make him “the father of many nations” includes us too. We are blessed by God and receive the same promises as given to Abraham and his seed because of our faith in Jesus.
Ps 119: 129-136 are verses filled with more rich and precious promises from our Heavenly Father. He wants us to know Him in such a personal way that we are confident in knowing our paths are ordered by Him. We can know we are where we’re suppose to be✝️
Keeping your eyes on Jesus is extremely important especially when it seems everything else around you is failing and not going as planned‼️ God asks us to trust Him, believing He’s able to handle any situation. So don’t lose heart and faint, but rather trust Him to help you. You will reap, if you don’t faint🌷
When the disciples saw Jesus walking on water toward them during a sudden storm on the Sea of Galilee, they were both terrified of their fate & the idea that Jesus may have been a ghost. However, they were instantly assured by Him that He was the great I AM! When we keep our focus on Jesus we won’t sink & He takes the threat out of any storm or circumstance!
Since Christ has the power over death, He certainly has the power over our troubles, trials & sufferings. Let’s purpose, therefore, to see the challenges in life as a means for God to develop & mature us in Him! He can handle it!
Rom 5:1 is a verse filled w/rich promises for all believers to partake! Since Christ has paid our debt in full, let us gratefully take hold and enjoy our peace with God which is our “thank you” to Him🙏🏼
Abraham was a man of many faults, but God deemed him as a faithful friend! Abraham chose to trust in the promises of God concerning him. He refused to waver, doubt or mistrust His God! Although those opportunities presented themselves to him, he chose rather to believe God. For God had proven Himself to Abraham. God doesn’t look for the perfect ones (for there are none anyway), but for the ones who will trust & obey their Heavenly Father in spite of how things may appear🌷
Having a partnership W/the Almighty God is crucial in causing all things to work together for us. Life happens to everyone, but when it does - having a committed/submitted relationship w/Almighty God assures us everything must work out in the end for our good‼️
As our Heavenly Father, God wants us to have confidence in His ability to fully care for us.
