Eph 5:11 says we shouldn't do the things that are associated with evil. When we open up the door and hand out tracts we are making it look like it's okay to participate in Halloween. A weak Christian will take it further. We must get away from anything to do it Halloween.
- Church is an example of what heaven will be like. If you love the world you'll stay in the world, if you love the things of God you'll go to His house, and get away from this world. 4. Jesus addresses the ANGELS of different churches in Revelation. Yes, there are God's Messengers attending church. 3. We are commanded to go! Do not forsake the assembly of people together . 2. We can Learn new things, ask and answer questions, as well as be around Godly people. 1. How can you tithe without going to church? God commands us to tithe and says He will bless is for it! 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. [From Matthew 16, King James Version Bible] Hell is prevailing against the world, but Jesus said it won't prevail against His church. Would you like to be in a place that protects you from hell? The church will protect you.
Across America Sabbath keeping churches are closing the doors across America due to inclement weather and holidays. I don't think it's God's will for us to make that decision. We need to try harder to keep our doors open as this as church is an important work.
