hey everyone, new podcast episode up now, please let us know what you think (we have intro music now)

this time I'm not going to do a whole "works cited" thing as we tried to be a little less pretentious on this one and be more concerned with exchanging ideas about an actual problem facing the left: whether or not to vote or support social democrats.

I hope this is only the first of many such episodes we do. in this one, JD defends voting for Bernie Sanders and gives some of his reasons why (he also goes off on a couple tangents, it's a fun time). then I talk for a bit about what it's actually like to get your wish and put a socdem in office (with the obvious caveats of us being in very different contexts and so on) in relation to the case of #SamirFlores #JusticiaParaSamir #CancelenLaConsulta

sadly, I haven't found sources on Samir's case in english just yet. I'll keep a lookout and post them here when they're available.

cheers.

BACK FOR THE NEW YEAR, BABYYY

on this episode we attempt to address the very serious unfolding political crisis in Venezuela

then, as usual, we get sidetracked and talk about all sorts of shit, like Joseph Ratzinger, Fallout 4, Bolsonaro (and how his government is an open guardian of patriarchy), and so on

We do however give a quick look at the history of Venezuela. Not nearly a thorough as I would like but, still, a good start for us to get back to.

new ep out and we're hitting our stride

this one turned out to be very much focused on France: present, past (we go into 1968 although taking a detour by way of the lead up to it after WWII) and different takes on it and what it might mean in the context of recent developments in the Americas

next year we'll have a regular upload schedule we swear
