Zambian music videographer and artiste “Lanzee Cooper” took it to social media to express his displeasure with B-Flow & Camstar. The multi-talented act angrily went off at both musicians for allegedly discussing him in a WhatsApp group.
According to Cooper, B-Flow collected ZAM royalties from Bars, radio Stations, and squandered the money. This allegation might point to the time B-Flow was part of ZAM executive. He further went off at rapper Camstar and called him an upcoming artiste above all.
The feud seems to have been triggered by an Interview by rapper Starjons on Prime TV which B-Flow and others seem to endorse. However, Cooper doesn’t really point out what B-Flow and Camstar said from the WhatsApp group that could have triggered the whole drama. Check out screenshot below and above!

Introducing Chadzanso Mwenda aka Juvi, The Kabwe born Zambian international actress, Entrepreneur participating in this year’s African Monologue challenge
Chadzanso is set to represent Zambia on an international stage yet again after she represented Zambia in the Nigerian reality TV show dubbed ‘Being In Nollywood‘, a 26 episode show which aired on ROK channels. She has also be cast in Nollywood movies such as The Dare, Discreet affair, Different Strokes (currently airing on prime video world wide) while locally she has featured in Butuku, Love Games plus other local and international productions.
The Africa Monologue Challenge is a Competition set to build and Bridge Creatives especially Actors in Pan African Countries and this is the Second season running. Last year, the competition was held in Ghana and Zambia came up second after being being represented by Jeromy Mumba (Mpali actor). For this year, it will held in Uganda and after several months of Monologue entries through email and weeks of evictions from over 2000 entries they eventually got down to the top 15 and finally to the top 10.
Chadzanso is the only representative from Zambia In the Africa Monologue Challenge 2024.
The Africa Monologue Challenge is a good opportunity for actors to connect with international producers for potential casting opportunities outside of Zambia. The Africa Monologue Challenge is set for next month May 2024 in the pan African house in Kampala Uganda

Zambia’s renowned actor, director and filmmaker, Cassie Kabwita is this June expected to stand on a global stage of prestige to receive an honorary Ambassador’s award at The African Film Festival (TAFF) in Dallas Texas, USA. According to the letter received from the TAFF Director the fine looking Kabwita has been lauded for her dedication as Ambassador to TAFF representing Zambia since 2017.
The actor who does not compromise on dress code especially when she is bound for a public appearance is expected to also be one of the panelists for the Symposium on African Cinema during the festival. Kabwita the Zambian export is currently in Serengati National park Tanzania shooting a new AZAM TV exclusive Drama series titled MZANI WA MAHUSIANO, she is playing a lead role, supported by a number of renowned actors in Tanzania.
Producers and Directors of her series in Tanzania have already granted her leave from the shoot to travel to the USA to receive the award in person. They believe the additional award to the Multiple awards that Kabwita already has would add value to their new show and attract more viewership traffic once on air although the true bragging rights will belong to Zambia.

Multi-award winning artiste Yo Maps says he doesn’t have any beef with Chile One despite what social media speculate. The Kondwa Hitmaker said this while featuring on a Radio Interview hosted by Ken Dumbo & Chich Diasy on Kwithu FM.
Yo Maps who also dropped a brand new International hit song called “Confirmation” featuring Nigerian artiste “Iyanya” further emphasized Zambian music needs competition for its growth. He empathized that Artistes should allow their fans to make comparisons but there should be no beef amongst themselves. He also alluded to have met Chile One several times and the 2 are in books. According to him, he has no feud with him unless its one sided on Chile One’s end.
Both music acts have been caught in social media comparisons by fans since Chile One emerged into the limelight. Few weeks ago they both released music videos a day after the other, a move which even escalated the comparisons.
Elton Mulenga says he has helped a number of Zambian musicians to a point of even giving them his unreleased songs. His new song is set to hit more than 1 Million views within 24hrs on YouTube.

Renowned artiste and King of RnB Chanter “F-Jay” went on social media to vent about two artistes who were previously vocal about political issues . The Sundance Hit advert maker posted (See Picture below ) and music fans immediately figured out he was referring to Pilato and B-Flow.
Pilato who was a critic of the previous PF govt has gone mute since he became appointed as a Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youth and Sports, something which drew some criticism on the Bashi Tasila hitmaker. On the other hand, B-Flow was allegedly assaulted by suspected party Cadres few weeks ago something F-Jay seems to talk about in his post. The ‘King of RnB’ wonders which artistes(s) will now speak for the many Zambians since himself is an RnB artiste who cannot indulge in Social Political issues.
F-Jay‘s social media post immediately drew a response from B-Flow who is still recovering from the recent unfortunate assault incident. The “Touch & Go” hitmaker threw a jab of a question aiming at F Jay (See Pic Below). He claims that F Jay is mostly known for making Hit Adverts rather than creating those chart topping hits that everyone would love.

Jackson Demus Phiri popularly known as DJ Showstar is an award winning Zambian media personality, born on 20th September in a family of seven as a third child.
DJ Showstar did his junior secondary education at Northmead basic and Senior Secondary at City Education centre, he went further to study Public Relations at Evelyn Hone college which he finished in 2008, then studied Business Management at Evelyn Hone again for two years, he is currently at Information Communications University in third year pursuing Development Studies. He is also doing Accounts part time with the University of Zambia.
His passion for presenting was drawn from his love for television and radio, he got inspired by the presenters he constantly followed and hang out with.
He joined the media with the name Dj Showstar which describes him as the star of the show and center of attraction. Dj Showstar’s radio journey began at Hone FM where he was picked after an audition for a night show which he hosted for over 3 years, then he was later given the breakfast show and a weekend count down show.
Later in 2016 he joined Q FM where he is currently hosting the breakfast show, he has hosted the breakfast show for 7 years now. For years he also hosted a television show called HI-5 where he featured various artists, now he is currently hosting a TV show called Showstar’s House which combines current affairs, social issues, entertainment among other things.
In 2016 he won a Zambian music award for best male radio DJ, he recently won a D’Cue Award and got nominated for the Ngoma awards for best music promoter.
Away from presenting and promoting artists DJ Showstar also opened up a media house last year focused on different aspects of media like branding, content production among other services.

Multi-Award winning singer and vocalist “Chile One Zambia” has revealed he is planning to fill up Levy Mwanawasa Stadium. The singer posted his intention on Facebook which was later received with mixed feelings.
Many people feel the singer is trying to compete with his purported nemesis Yo Maps who has a fill up concert at Heroes Stadium on 27th May, 2027. Chile One hasn’t revealed the roadmap and timeline for the same concert but dropped a snippet of a song to be used as the theme for the event.
Some of his fans however, feel his limited music catalog will make the event unsuccessful and he should first release an album before the event. Yo Maps is set to be the first Zambia artiste to fill up a 60 000 seater stadium and currently, the K50 tickets for the event have already sold out.

Zambia’ hit TV Shows, King Bugar and Mpali have scooped awards at this year’s African Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards. The award Ceremonies which were held in Lagos, Nigeria saw both TV shows become the first Zambian TV shows to bag awards on such Platform.

Zambia’s biggest music act “Yo Maps” has announced the release of his forthcoming album called “Try Again”. The record which will serve as his sophomore album will be launched in Heroes stadium, Lusaka according to the singer.
Yo Maps who has essentially become an instant hitmaker will become the first Zambian artiste to Launch an album at heroes Stadium and thereby taking up South African rapper “Cassper Nyovest‘s ‘fill up’ initiative. The album called “Try Again” will be launched on 27th May, 2023 and hence much details album this project remain to be unveiled.

Zambian hip hop artist Umusepela Crown successfully hosted a listening party for his debut album Lesa Pantashi. The party was hosted in Lusaka at Riders Lounge on Friday 16th December 2022.
The listening party was graced by Umusepela Crown fans and other artists like Macky2, Chef187, Jae Cash, Dizmo, Kalu Vybez Tiye P, Ninebo Chileshe just to name a few. Speaking in an interview, Crown described his album as a story board about his journey in life with every song connected and significant to the story. Crown further added that he decided to work with other new wave artists on this studio project because he believes that the more new wave artists work together the more they put each other out there. He emphasized that this album is all about God because his career has been highly dependent on him.
Umusepela Crown released his 24 track album titled Lesa Pantashi on 28th November 2022, making it his first studio album. However, prior to this album Crown also released some singles which came along with visuals.

South African HipHop artiste Nasty C was in Zambia for a show over the weekend and stirred some social media buzz for what he said in an Interview. The rapper who was performing at East Park Mall was asked backstage by Power TV Presenter “Edna” if he has ever heard of Macky 2 of which he denied with astonishment.
This part of the interview clip has since gone viral with many people throwing shade at Dj Bugar’s popularity. This prompted Chef 187 to come to the aid of his big brother in an attempt to save the day.
According to Chef 187, the Interviewer should have instead asked Nasty C if he knows the Zambian Nasty D who has been in the game since the SA Protege was born.

He was raised by his mum after losing his father at a young age, he later moved to Lusaka to live with his uncle where he completed his secondary School education at St Stevens in Matero.
Steven coined his stage name with the help of his wife who reminded him that being the head of their house he is the vision carrier and with a vision he would leave a legacy for their children and anyone who’s life he would impact hence the name Vision Legacy.
He is a fast rising artist, he has already managed to release a number of hit songs and worked with some big names in the industry. He has done songs like Million ways, Njota Featuring Kidman Freedom, Chibe Chibe featuring Macky2, Little bit naught Featuring Dambisa, Hard to Get Feat Bombshell and Suicide.
He aspires to produce music that speaks to people and makes them relate and above all music that will stand the test of time.
Aside from being an artist Vision is a family man who wants to be an inspiration to his children and make them proud, he has them in mind in everything he does including his music.
Apart from music Vision is an operations Manager at Capital Buses, a multi level entrepreneur with Longrich Bioscience and also runs his own business called Carlind Enterprises, where they handle all vehicle documentation requirements.

Award winning Media personality and Socialite “Mutale Mwanza” recently featured “On The Table” hosted by Chimweka Chileshe on Diamond TV on which she addressed a lot of issue.
The Controversial social media star clarified she does not have beef with Esther Chungu because the viral video which stirred buzz on social media was actually for promoting the “Tumvange Lifestyle” show. She further agreed that she is an attention seeker for the sake of her career but not to a certain degree most people perceive her.
When asked about her ‘looking nice in a casket’ post, Mutale Mwanza clarified she didn’t wish death on herself but was just reflecting on her life. She was just being herself as she was emotional at the moment and thought of issues like preparing a will. She however denied posting about committing suicide and claims it was a fake account and she has since reported the matter to the police.

Chef 187’s manager “Superman” says the rapper is no longer with Nexus Music Entertainments. This is because the Contract ended last year and it is subject to renewal.
This was clarified during the “That ZedPodcast” hosted by K Plus and Elson when they were Interviewing KB. KB who happens to be the CEO of the label could not answer the question when he was asked why Chef 187’s Videos did not have Nexus Music Logo. This prompted the hosts to call Chef 187’s manager.
According to Superman, the contract might be renewed sooner than later. During the same Interview KB also said, he has not been in the office for the past 6 months but he is still CEO of the label. Watch Interview below

Multi-Award winning HipHop artiste “Chef 187” recently featured on “Tindala Tha Podcast” hosted by Chali. During the interview, the Numero Uno dived into his come up, creative Process, Marriage Life, Slapdee beef plus more.
According to Chef 187 he initially wanted to be professional footballer but only took music seriously after his brother blew up. He also explained that his verse on “I am Zambian HipHop” diss by Macky 2 was actually pre-written before the beef situation. Chef 187 says rapper wrote diss verses in advance aimed at their competitors at that time just in case. He further reveals that Stevo messed up his “Amenso Pamo” with his “Situation Series” as he also had such plans.
Chef 187 also talked about his Coke Studio experience and how the organizers approached him. He also disclosed how welcoming Mr. P was when he flew to Nigeria and recorded “One More”. When asked about his marriage life, Chef 187 says he has benefited more becomes it brings stability and being more responsible. His time management has also improved due to his marriage.
