The Lord Jesus gave us an example that we should follow in His steps. One feature that is consistent throughout His life while He was here on earth is that He prayed. From the recorded accounts of Him praying, we learn much about the importance of communion with the Father.
Matthew 11:29 the Lord Jesus calls us to take His yoke and learn from Him for He is meek and lowly. When we learn from Him we find rest for our souls.
The Lord Jesus and His disciples encountered a perilous storm on the sea of Galilee. We learn of the power of the word of the Lord Jesus that even the winds and the waves obey Him.
The Lord Jesus warned His listeners to take care to how they heard the Word. We too need to hear the Word with a good and honest heart.
