Romans 8:15-17

Psalm 103:8-13

The lord is merciful and gracious; He is slow to get angry and full of unfailing love. He will not constantly accuse us, nor remain angry forever. He has not punished us for all our sins, He does He deal harshly with us as we deserve. For His unfailing love toward those who fear Him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. He has removed our rebellious acts as far away from us as the east is from the west. The Lord is like a Father to His children, tender and compassionate to those who fear Him.

Hebrews 12:5-10

Have you forgotten the encouraging words God spoke to you, His children? He said, “My child, don’t ignore it when the Lord disciplines you, and don’t be discouraged when He corrects you”…as you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as His own children. Whoever heard of a child that was not disciplined?... God’s discipline is always right and good for us because it means we will share in His holiness.

So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.
