Welcome to Meadow Brook Church's Sermons Podcast! Here you will find the audio versions of our Sunday messages. Our desire is for you to be inspired and encouraged by God's Word.
What's your relationship status? Are you an apprentice to Jesus, or a face in the crowd?
Possessing our inheritance involves seeing ourselves and our world as God sees us, and then responding with risk taking obedience to the assignments He gives us.
Philippians 1:9-11 - I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return. May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation - the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ - for this will bring much glory and praise to God.
“God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks to us in our conscience, but shouts in our pains: it is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world.” – C.S. Lewis

What you think about God and what do you think he thinks about you? The answer to this question is far more important than you would imagine.
Spiritual growth is not a formula. Spiritual growth is a constant discipline and an ongoing journey.

The teachings of Jesus are encouraging, life-giving, refreshing, and renewing. And sometimes scary – very scary.

“Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven. And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, ‘There will be no more delay!’” (Rev 10.5-6)

The power of life and death are in the tongue (Pr 18:21) – words are incredibly powerful in one way or another, so what powerful words are we speaking?

There are indisputable facts, and then there are things that are just personal opinions, and then biblically, there are even things that may be truth for one believer that are not truth for another.
Scripture is God’s truth written out perfectly; Jesus is God’s truth lived out perfectly. As we seek truth, how are we processing things through the lens of Christ?
