Dr. Williams answers the question, “If God is unchanging, what then is His relationship to time?” In this session, common misconceptions about eternity are refuted while the mystery of eternity is more fully embraced. Stand in awe of the eternality of God as it impacts all that you know about God and how you worship Him.
Dr. Williams continues to address the problems that arise from over-emphasizing God's imminence. In this session, we will see a variety of errors that occur when we fail to rightly think about God's "otherness." A return to “Classical Theism” begins by first understanding God’s immutability. How God relates to His creation, the Incarnation, the mutability of creation, and the decrees of God all evidence His unchanging attributes.
Dr. Brett Williams begins this year’s Bible conference with an exploration into God’s unfathomable “otherness”—His transcendence. So often we think and speak of God in oversimplified, man-related ways that result in a lessening of the mysterious transcendence of God and a flawed view of worship.
