Welcome to Grace Family Church. We are reaching people, changing lives with the life-giving message of Jesus.
The request that “thy will be done” is God’s invitation to join Him in making things down here the way they are up there.
Jesus never expected this life to be without struggle, trial, or issues. However, in every station of life, the good or the bad, we must master the art of SPEAKING FAITH. Faith is not merely an expression of our relationship with God. Faith is the starting point to the fulfillment of our covenant.
There are three things we need to convey as we are Led by the spirit - Grace Mercy & Peace. In every divine appointment, we express Grace, live out Mercy and leave with Peace.
Social Justice v. Biblical Justice. Injustice is wrong and always wrong. The real difference isn’t in the application of Justice. But the difference is the definition of INJUSTICE.
Why must we engage in culture and what does it look like? Look to Jesus. Passion moved his heart. He did the unthinkable. Christ intended to write a wrong of culture. But, more importantly, of a corrupt system
The culture is ok with us talking about Jesus as long as you talk about Jesus the same way you would Buda, or Mohamed, or Gandhi. The moment Jesus becomes anything more, problems arise. Worse, the moment you have a problem with Jesus being placed on the same pedestal as all other religious figures, as soon as you start to claim that Jesus has some unique station or claim - Now you are out of your box!
4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. - 2 Corinthians 10:4
You will never be more fruitful than when you are fulfilling God’s plans for your life. Don’t live as someone who can’t measure whether or not they are making a difference.
Each one of you is a Kingdom Builder. Maybe you have been hurt or abused in some way that your purpose has been amputated from your heart, but that doesn’t mean God doesn’t have something for you to build.
The only excuse for lack of power in Christians is not some warped doctrine that explains away power, but it is us. Our lack of power is because we do not press in for more power.
You were chosen for GOD’S KINGDOM. We were created for a purpose.
There are almost 8 billion people on the earth and all of us are different. We are all unique. We all have a different piece of Adam and Eve’s original purpose but through 8 billion different ways.
The GLORY of God is the infinite worth of God made manifest. When the holiness of God fills the earth for people to see, it is called glory.
Solus Christus, Christ Alone.
The gospel is not a message of what we must do for God; the gospel is the good news of what God has done for us. Salvation is not essentially about us; it is about Jesus. Solus Christus
Sola Gratia, grace alone.
Grace is best defined by a juxtaposed definition in the idea of Karma. Karma, you get what you deserve. Grace, getting the opposite of what you deserve.
Sola Fide, faith alone.
The only kind of faith that counts for justification is the kind that produces love the kind that bears the fruit of love.
5 Solas are slogans (phrases) that emerged from the reformation to summarize the essential doctrine of Christianity. These ideas are central to "SALVATION.

Sola Scriptura / Scripture Alone
Sola Fide / Faith Alone
Sola Gratia / Grace Alone
Solus Christus / Christ Alone (Christ as King)
Soli Deo Gloria / For the Glory of God Alone

At an intellectual level many of us know what we “SHOULD DO”, but at a heart level we tend to drift off course. “for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;” (Ephesians 4:12)
OUR HEARTS LONGING TO BELONG is a God given feeling . We were placed here, on the earth, to be significant. We are here to make a difference.
We love the end result God loves the process. The process is where faith is manifest. In the process, faith is all you have.
Jesus is never willing to arrive on the scene simply to fix our problems. He also intends to be Lord of everything in our life.
“If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you” -John 15:19
Let your attitude, your frame of mind, and your experiential relationships be such that those who meet you will learn by the experience that you are not ones of those demanding persons who must have an eye for an eye, tooth for tooth, an exact right for everything.
Pressure or adversity can either destroy you or add to you. What doesn’t kill makes you stronger. Difficult times don’t cause growth. Trusting Jesus in the midst of adversity is what causes growth.
Everything Jesus taught can be reduced to two commandments. If you adhere to these two, you will fulfill everything that the word of God says.
Command 1 - Believe/Commitment to Jesus
Command 2 - Walk in love
We are made worthy because one worth more than all of us put together gave his life for the penalty for our unworthiness. We are made worthy by the blood of the lamb.
Because all of our needs are met in JESUS, our prayer life can and should be more relational and more meaningful.
Belief is the internal compass or gyroscope that keeps our life on a set path.
Never worry about the Vision
Never get under the pressure of the Vision
Never expect to be responsible to pay for the Vision
God’s realities (scriptural realities) are not just bits of information for you to remember. God’s realities should become something we experience, something that we sense, feel and that moves us through the day.
Has your faith in the future promised been replaced by MAN’S philosophy?

Religious people don’t get mad about you preaching Jesus. Just don’t preach Jesus as your source of Righteousness!

The ‘sword’ was the division between believers and unbelievers: In the matter of belief in Christ, the whole world was divided against itself; each house had its believers and its unbelievers; and therefore was this holy war sent, that an unholy peace might be broken through.

The Rich Young Ruler was challenged about his wealth and good deeds as a way to reach heaven.
You are CALLED to be an overcomer in EVERY AREA OF LIFE because it is in your SPIRITUAL DNA.
If there is anything that characterizes Christmas, it is light, light that has been shown to us in the face of Jesus Christ. Light bespeaks hope and warmth. Jesus, the Light of the World.
The King has come to turn around the course of human existence and to turn over new possibilities for our being and becoming. The Gospel genealogies illustrate that Jesus is not ashamed to be identified with people impacted by human failure.
The truth of the Word of God is greater than the facts of our circumstances. Acknowledge the facts, but realize that God cares and has something to say about it in His Word. Find out how God addresses it in His Word and let the Holy Spirit bring it to life in your heart.
Remember to tell your story, to your generation and the next, that you are not who you used to be.
Fire - distinguishes between the mere instrumentality of the water, and the spiritual element where the child of the kingdom is baptized
Baptism is a symbol of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. It means we also have died to our old life and have been raised to live a new life with Jesus.
You have been divinely shaped for relationships. Relationships, which may have been the greatest source of your fear and pain, are originally designed by God to be your greatest place of safety and joy. This is an example where if you don’t intentionally learn the truth, you will unintentionally believe a lie.
When a person experiences actual heart blockage, the heart will grow new blood vessels around a blocked one. Similarly, when we have “relational heart blockage”, we “grow” alternative and “unhealthy” ways to meet our needs.
If the Corinthians are as keen as they seem to be on having the spirit work in and through them, the thing they ought to be longing for, praying for, and working towards is that they would all be able to do and say things which make the body of Christ work together in harmony and be built up in love.
Study > pray > seek God’s face > put it into practice, but by all means, stoke the fire .

The original intent of God's investment in humanity was not to establish a religion, but a nation of people who would love, serve, and honor God.
Most of the miracles Jesus did were from the marketplace. Most of his friends were from the marketplace. We, as Christians, have a cultural mandate to effect our marketplace.

If Jesus is who he claimed to be, He must back up those claims with tome demonstration. The resurrection was the greatest proof to all the claims made of Jesus.
The truth that has the greatest potential to set you free always has the most potential to offend you.

The Fear of Failure is generally a faith issue. Faith always overcomes fear but fearing failure we rarely ask for the impossible.
“The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety.” -George Mueller
Today, we are going to let God’s word penetrate our hearts in a life-changing way, and through His word and by His Spirit, we will overcome the fear of intimacy.

Romans 5 begins and ends with two infinite realities that are needed to explain each other, peace and grace.
By means of the faithful obedience of Israel’s representative, the Messiah, not only has all the glory, all the inheritance, of Adam accrued to the people of God, all the evils that accrued from Adam’s disobedience are undone. - NT Wright
While we were lost in our sin, Jesus died for us. To understand the full weight of this action is to know who Jesus is.
What is supposed to happen WHEN PEOPLE SEE JESUS? What new perspective are they to have? How are they to act? What are they to believe?
So compassionate that people are drawn from every area of culture to a loving circle of hope, where answers are found, and acceptance is given.
Does what matter to God most, matter most to me? If his purpose is first, how do we pray, believe, and act for that purpose?

This is Your Year to Believe the unbelievable and receive the imposable. Everything God asks us to believe is unbelievable. Everything He wants us to receive is impossible.
Of all the events that have shaped human history, one moment stands above the rest. The moment was not filled with fanfare or frills but fantastic nonetheless.
We develop expectations that Christmas is supposed to "feel good" but what do you do when it doesn't?
Lust of the flesh - The desires of our temporal nature that betrays our eternal design, destiny, and purpose.
God’s not expecting you to give over and above your tithe without His blessing of your finances first.
Wouldn't you think the more blessed you are, the more generous you would be? Studies show clearly as income increases, the percentage of what people give decreases.
If we as believers can internalize this truth, it can be unquestionably life-changing to realize it is more blessed to give than receive. The key to being #BLESSES is a generous heart.
Once we know we have a purpose in Jesus, we then learn to conquer the fear that stands in our way. Next, we learn to be obedient hearers of his commands.
Every adversity, every heartache, every failure carries with it the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit.
Self-image and Self-worth often show up in our fears. Where fear grips our heart has a lot to do with how we see ourselves. We know we are free from fear when we are in Christ. Scripture admonishes us to "not fear" well over one hundred times. Depending on the translation, as much as 365 times, If you look to general passages about concerning fear
We all have a need to LIVE, LOVE, & MATTER LIVE - Truly know your life has Purpose LOVE - Connect in real relationships in Purposeful interaction MATTER - Have true significance through Purposeful action
Spiritual Gifts are an essential tool in the process of sanctification, essential for building up one another, essential for equipping believers to be more effective in our ministry one to another.
More and more people are shying away from tongues. You may hear folks say, "Speaking in tongues is only for emotional religious folks. No real intelligent people would fall for that." Today, We will have an intelligent conversation on the topic. I expect you to use your reason and brain.
As an extension to his primary mission, the Holy Spirit is at work as God through us. Paul explained, "Through the power of the Holy Spirit who lives within us, carefully guard the precious truth that has been entrusted to you." ( 2 Timothy 1:14) The power of the Holy Spirit, who lives in us, calls us to guard what we have been entrusted.
Spiritual existence is a place where your natural abilities have little influence. You can't do what needs to be done by the natural man. You can't live a supernatural life by physical strength.
How should we, everyday believers, be Charismatic? In our reading, there is an assumption; it can be done, it should be done it Must be done. Being Charismatic is necessary and vital. So then, how should everyday believers be CHARISMATIC?
