God has given you a life – but what is He calling you to do with it? Many times, we can get so bogged down with our daily routines that we lose sight of God’s bigger picture. God has a unique calling for each one of us. How do you discern what God’s call on your life is? And once you do – how do you live into it?
You probably have a firm understanding of why you do the things you do: you go to school to learn; you go to work to earn money; you take vacation...to get away from work and school! Why are you a part of the Church? As Crossroads Campus prepares for our summer season, we will explore exactly who we are and why Jesus put us together.
One of my catch phrases is “read your Bible, read your Bible, read your Bible.” I want you to treasure this gift from God, to get it so deep into you that you can’t help but live it out. I want you to understand these inspired words of God – to be moved by the wonder, beauty, and glory of who God is. As we enter summer, I want to challenge you to read your Bible every day.

Jesus told his first disciples to “go and bear fruit.” Jesus says that bearing fruit is a sign that those who follow Jesus are truly abiding in Christ and obeying him. What kind of fruit are we called to bear and what does that fruit look like in our lives today? As we prepare for a new year ahead, let’s be sure to make it a year where we focus on bearing fruit for Jesus.

When we experience the purity and power of God’s love shown through Jesus, it compels us to reimagine why and how we can show love back to God and to the people around us.
