Legacy City Church is a revivalist culture Church associated with BLN (Bethel Leaders Network) extending the Kingdom of God into Bremerton, WA and the Pacific NW.
It has been a wonderful blast of time as Legacy City Church! Join us with this podcast in remembering some great testimonies and hear what our next steps are!
Opening of worship with Psalm 68 and Psalm 24. This message centered around receiving revelation of Heavens perspective and aligning our beliefs, ultimately our words, with Heavens truth. Romans 10:8-10 is a key to first believing, then confessing which releases "salvation" (Gk: soteria) which can be translated as saved, healed, delivered, preserved.
This recording is from August 3rd when we shared testimony of the healing power of Jesus. We encourage ourselves and you to step out and take risk as a releaser of the power of Holy Spirit, leaning into His voice and not ministering out of formulas but out of a fresh Spirit led direction. We also focused on reminding ourselves of prophetic promises and the power of communion to remind ourselves that the price has been paid in full!
Looking into Psalm 103:1-5 we see the heart of God to forgive, heal and restore our relationship with Him as Father God. Jesus fulfilled on the cross complete access for us to receive these benefits - and according to Ephesians 1:1-3 in Christ we have complete access to all of the supply of Heaven. Our God will supply ALL of our needs according to His riches in glory. He really is that good and invites you to come to Him and receive!
The prophetic in New Testament Christianity can be simplified as hearing, seeing (perceiving) and declaring. In other words we receive revelation and insight through intimacy with the Lord and declare or "prophesy" what He shows us. As we share communion we can prophesy what the body and blood of Jesus is speaking over various situations. Grab your communion elements and enjoy this time with us! Continuing with the theme of establishing a prophetic culture in the church, this week we focused more on etiquette and biblical basis for the prophetic. Removing the misconceptions about New Testament prophecy, the simple foundation of the prophetic is intimacy with God and learning to hear, see and declare when the Holy Spirit gives revelation.
Jesus paid the price on the cross to give us New Creation Life! Forgiveness of sins, freedom from bondage, physical and emotional healing, access to the Heavenly Realm! As we renew our minds with these truths we will experience transformation becoming more and more like Jesus. Ultimately, we will grow in our ability to receive and release what is in store for us in the Heavenly Realm! Ephesians 1:3, Ephesians 2:13,17 , Hebrews 4.
Theresa Farrelly was a dearly loved mother in the faith as well as a prophet to Legacy City Church. This was her full testimony when she was with us September 15th 2019. This is a powerful story of Jesus breaking into a life at it's end, healing and restoring to a new life in Christ filled with supernatural adventure! Theresa left the earth and is now with her King, joining that "great cloud of witnesses" May 23rd, 2025. She will be missed but we shall see her again in His Kingdom!
This week we are exploring the power of the prophetic, learning to discern the voice of the Lord for the individual believer. This is key to all ministry: intimacy with the Lord, discerning His thoughts and obeying His voice. This is how we RELEASE the Kingdom - resulting in prophetic words, healing, deliverance, etc.

Ash Wednesday we had our monthly night of worship and prayer. This month we gathered around the prophetic promises of God that have been released through our "stream", Bethel Church in Redding CA. Last week was the annual Prophetic Conference, so we took the points of the New Era we are in the beginning stages of and with worship and prayer we pressed into those promises. As we celebrate the victory of Roe v. Wade being overturned by the SCOTUS, we emphasized the joy and privilege of the Ekklesia (the church) to legislate on earth "as it is in heaven." We took a look at Ephesians 3:1-13 and highlighted God's plan to reveal His manifold wisdom through the church and what that can look like. Other scripture references: Ephesians 4:11-13, Ephesians 2:20, Amos 3:7, 2 Corinthians 1:20 and Matthew 16:18-19

The power of the cross to bring us into the family of God is so deep and important for every believer to grasp the revelation of the Father's ultimate plan. We are His inheritance and He is ours. When we are renewed in our thinking regarding who we are and Whose we are, we will experience transformation, walking into greater measures of Christ's authority and power to do the works He has prepared for us before our lives began! Evening of Impartation! This gathering was the day following a 3 day conference in Fife, WA. called "Judah Arise 2022" which was a prophetic conference. At Legacy City Church we are called to train, equip and release a people into the community who are awakened to their true royal identity that Jesus died to make possible. That looks like a people walking in their regal authority, filled and empowered by Holy Spirit grace, hearing the voice of God and declaring into the earth that which is in Heaven. Signs, miracles and wonders are for today and should accompany the message of salvation we have been entrusted with. This evening we placed the emphasis on the transferable impartation of grace we believe we received. Through the laying on of hands and sharing the testimony of Jesus we blessed our gathering with what we received. Enjoy!

This Sunday evening message was a spontaneous Spirit led encouragement for all to go deeper with Jesus, to know Him more intimately through not only reading the Word but inviting the Author of the Word to come hover over you while taking His truth in. Going from studying the King to knowing Him personally through a laid down life. We discussed the importance of loving the bride of Christ, His body which we are each a part, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together. We want to get the "horizontal" relationship of our Christianity right but also not substituting it for the "vertical" relationship with God through worship, prayer, the word and obedience to His word and voice!
Join us for our first Sunday gathering of 2022! We walked through Hebrews ch. 11 - the "Hall of Faith" and got a deeper understanding of what faith really is. Faith is "seeing" what we cannot see, believing before we can actually take hold of that which we are believing for. Salvation begins and ends with faith - from faith to faith. What an incredible gift God gives us by His Spirit!
This Sunday evening we prepared for worship with a brief teaching on spiritual warfare, our position in Christ as those seated with Him in the heavenly realm and our privilege to pray authoritative declarations from our position "from heaven to earth". Whether its sickness, heaviness, depression, hopelessness or demonic oppression - we battle these conditions on earth by "warring" with Christ in His victory releasing His grace and provision into the earth. We had an extended time of ministry to the body this evening, so enjoy listening in.
As we enter into the Christmas Season our prayer is for all to find their lives centered on the One Who came to rescue us from sin, sickness and darkness. Jesus is the center of all creation, for by Him all things were created and through Him all things are sustained. This Sunday evening we began with an exhortation from Matthew 7 regarding hearing the Word of God and putting it into practice. In this season of what could look like wind and waves crashing against us it is all the more important to hold fast to Jesus, to know Him personally and build our lives on His Word by learning and obeying it. His promise is that we will stand through the storm and not fall. We also continued in the book of Hebrews chapter 10: 21-39 Enjoy!

Sometimes the Spirit of the Lord comes into a gathering and He desires to speak to hearts and heal them. We, the people of God, are the vessels He uses to minister through. The body of Christ is the Priesthood. We are all ministers of reconciliation. This recording is a taste of an evening where we didn't get to the message, but the message got to us. Some of the voices recorded are faint, so I apologize for the volume being all over the place. You will hear many people sharing, praying, prophesying, testifying. Some of the theme was the power of our declarations, our words that we speak. Some of it was about consecrating ourselves for the coming move of God that we know is inevitable. He will pour out His Spirit on ALL flesh in the last days - which we believe we are living in. Enjoy!

We learned about this mysterious King-Priest only mentioned briefly in the Old Testament twice and expanded on in the book of Hebrews. This Sunday's podcast has a bit of prophetic ministry time and then moves into the message. As a first for Legacy City Church, we are embarking on a journey through the book of Hebrews. This week we went through the overview of the book to set us up for a beautiful adventure with the Holy Spirit to prepare our hearts for the treasure held within this sermon/letter. Hebrews 1:1-3
This was a rather spontaneous Sunday gathering, with announcements of our upcoming prophetic training course that lead into the discussion of why we desire to equip the body of Christ to better hear His voice. We talked about the priesthood of believers, and Jesus being our great high priest who has gone before us into a more perfect tabernacle, the holy of holies in the heavenly realm. He has gone before us presenting His own blood that has accomplished eternal, complete salvation for us! Enjoy!
Taking Dominion. We are called by God to rule and reign in life as kings in Christ Jesus. Bill Johnson says "we can only release the benefit of God's rule flowing out of us to the degree that His rule is over us. God does not release His kingdom authority to and through rebels." Join us as we talk through the scriptures regarding the authority Jesus has purchased back through the cross which Adam lost in the garden. As our region was experiencing record breaking heat, we decided to have a time of worship followed by shared testimony from our congregation. We believe that according to Revelation 19:10 our testimonies of what Jesus has done in our lives (the testimony of Jesus) prophesies into the now and the future that it is His revealed nature and character to do it again. Jesus' blood paid for it all, and we will speak His testimonies releasing them to anyone who needs the same breakthrough in their life! All of God's promises are "yes" and "amen" in Christ! So we say yes over you as you hear of His mighty deeds for us and others in your life.
Happy Fathers Day!! We continued in the theme of Identity, Intimacy and Authenticity. As we looked into 2 Corinthians 5 we took a deeper dive into our role as ministers of reconciliation and ambassadors of another world.
Intimacy & Authenticy Our message today in on our role as Royal Priests or a Kingly Priesthood where we are all called by God to be ministers unto Him. This is the key to intimacy with the Lord, where we become authentic in our relationship with the Father.
As a church we are preparing to enter into an official relationship with Bethel Church, Redding CA by becoming members of the Bethel Leaders Network. We discuss the reason for celebrating this deeper connection to our stream as well as our 13 Core Values as a church. Enjoy!

Proverbs 29:18 Today we discussed our vision and calling to become an apostolic/prophetic based church, meaning we receive input as we lay our foundation from apostolic and prophetic people. Ephesians 2:20 We shared the story of our church beginning with the first prophetic call, and the importance of keeping prophecies before us as we move forward, not allowing our circumstances to dictate to us what we are to do but rather the promises of God kept before us. Who do you think you are? Part 2 The most important facet of our identity in Christ is that of a son or daughter. Romans 8 tells us that the Spirit we have received is the Spirit of adoption or sonship by Whom we can cry out to God as "Abba (meaning daddy, poppa) and Father". We may have many differing roles in life, but when a function begins or ends it is vital to be firmly rooted in who we are as sons and daughters. Jesus came to reconcile us to the Father. Who do you think you are? Part 1 It is vital that as believers in Christ Jesus we get the revelation and knowledge of who we become when we receive Christ. Our identity in Him will become the anchor of our theology, authority and fruitfulness as we live to know Him and extend His Kingdom into the earth. The resources of His Kingdom are given to us as our inheritance through the cross, so that as we grow in maturity and responsibility we can pull on that inheritance and release it into the earth.
This message was from January 2020. As Legacy City Church prepares to relaunch our public gatherings after 1 year, we would like to present this message for those interested in learning what we are all about. We are an Apostolic/Prophetic based "revivalist" church in the city of Bremerton, WA. Our aim is to train and equip the saint, empowering them to walk in their true identity as sons and daughters of God. We see an army of believers carrying the Presence of Jesus into the community saying and doing the things He shows us to destroy the works of the devil.

Today's message was more on the spontaneous edge focused primarily on the affection and goodness of God. He is for us, not against us. He is a good Father who does not push us away because of our sin, but instead made a way for removing the barrier between us and Himself through the cross of Jesus. Enjoy!
Romans 15:13 says "May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace IN BELIEVING, that by the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." The key of experiencing hope, joy and peace in the Holy Spirit is mind-renewal. As we are changed in our thinking we are rewired by God to think from Heaven's perspective, even when the earthly perspective can seem dim. There is always a higher truth, a higher reality - where Jesus is ruling and reigning and we are seated with Him in that realm of Heaven!
Today's message was on Divine Influence - Salt & Light. We are saved into a family with a royal priestly ministry that is designed to influence every sphere of society: government, education, family, church, arts & entertainment, business and media (see the 7 Mountain Mandate). As we make it our aim to be sons and daughters that do good works "from love" not "for love" - we can implement 3 ecosystems into our lives that will help us to be more effective. This Sunday we talked about establishing the culture in our church and in our individual lives of "the goodness of God." The message we declare defines the reality we are going to live in. What we proclaim, what we confess, the message we carry; that defines who we are and how we think. Here’s a foundational reality: God is good. More questions and concerns arise today over the subject of the goodness of God than almost any other topic. This conflict reveals a deep personal need in the Body of Christ to see Jesus for who He really is and experience His finished work. Today was our final message on Family: the Government of Heaven. We recapped the last two weeks and continued on with the biblical theme of family and God's desire for the church to see one another as mothers/fathers and sisters/brothers. We are brought into a Kingdom where God is now our Father and Jesus is the "firstborn of many brothers" - a relational reality that will transform our lives as we are renewed in our minds with our true identity in Christ.
Today we did part 2 of our Kingdom Culture: Family message. The key passage is Luke 15, known as the "prodigal son" story, but we desire to emphasize the "Good Father" of the story. Also, Romans 8 and John 1:12. Enjoy!
Each month we will cover a different facet of Kingdom Culture the we hold in high value as a church. This month and Sunday we chose the topic of Family: Heaven's Relational Government (Family) On Earth. As we lay out our church vision and mission for 2020 we start with the scriptural basis for having prophetic vision set before us, written down and pursued. We have to keep in mind that our vision is serving our mission - the great "co"mission of Jesus Christ to be the salt and light of the Kingdom extending into the earth. Today we continued on our journey of learning about renewing our minds with supernatural joy! We read Genesis 30, the story of Jacob using striped and spotted sticks placed by a watering hole to cause the offspring of mating sheep to be born speckled. What we place before our eyes will influence what we give birth to, or what we become! As we choose to keep truth before our eyes, choosing the promises of God instead of allowing circumstances to dictate our inner world, we can experience the joy of the Lord and other facets of His nature infusing us. There is power in the blood of Jesus, our sacrificial lamb and great high priest! As our priest He applies His blood to every area of brokenness, sin, bondage and identity. Today we discussed the reality of our calling to be a supernatural people in the earth. Jesus paid for our great inheritance, and we want to see Him receive the full reward of His suffering by casting off anything He desires as we offer Him our hearts continually to search and know. Enjoy!
As we continue on the creation of establishing a prophetic culture, we looked at the Word of God and were encouraged to not despise prophecy, but exercise all spiritual gifts with the foundation of love permeating them all. Our Christian experience is fulfilled in this: that we would know our God and Father through a personal relationship where His Spirit in us would be recognized and we learn to hear His voice. When we know God's character (God is Love) and His ability in us to speak His heart in a partnership - that is where the prophetic is released! Enjoy

Today we focused in on the topic of love, according to Ephesians 3 and Paul's prayer for the church. As we continue on the path of building a prophetic culture in our church it is important that we represent the heart of the Father accurately as we prophesy, first being awakened to His love for us so that our filter we hear His voice through isn't tainted with unhealthy views of God. Today we ventured further into the plan and design of God to create in His redeemed sons and daughters a new person, indwelt by the Holy Spirit, having the "eyes of your heart/imagination" illuminated by His Spirit. As we learn to walk after the Spirit and not the fleshly desires influenced by the outside, we begin to see from the perspective from the "Heavenly Places" where we are currently seated with Christ. We have access to His thoughts, His plan, His wisdom and His resources as we learn to lean on Him instead of our own understanding. He has placed treasure in the sons and daughters of planet earth and His desire is for us to "prophesy" or call out the hidden treasure, revealing His thoughts towards us. Enjoy!
Today we continued to unfold the purpose of the prophetic and the reality of God's desire as a Father to bring sons and daughters into an intimate relationship with Himself. He wants to teach us how to hear His voice daily. His thoughts towards us outnumber the sands of the seashore. Enjoy!
Great day with our church family! Opened with the reading of Ephesians 2 in the Passion Translation, went into a time of prophetic ministry after worship and did about a 13 minute teaching on apostolic/prophetic church culture with the emphasis of believers, all a part of the priesthood of God, being activated in the prophetic. As we reflect back to a prophetic word in the beginning of 2019 we reminded ourselves of Psalm 133 where our unity in the church causes the blessing of the Lord to be commanded, like the oil of Heaven pouring down saturating our body. We discussed the scientific term "pop the quiff" (QWF - quantum wave function) regarding the power of our words when we speak the promises of God under His authority and anointing. Enjoy!

As we continue on our journey discovering all Jesus paid for, we see our identity as sons and daughters brought into the family of God that we are now seated with Christ in the heavenly realm while living here on earth. The final words Jesus spoke before His ascension: “But I promise you this—the Holy Spirit will come upon you and you will be filled with power. And you will be my messengers to Jerusalem, throughout Judea, the distant provinces — even to the remotest places on earth!” If there was ever a time on earth we needed the power of Holy Spirit to come upon and fill us it would be now! Whether your end time theology is “the world will get darker” or “the church will grow brighter”, it will require our lives to fall into His plan of being filled and empowered to do the same works Jesus did. Wonderful gathering filled with spontaneous testimony, insights and encouragement from various voices in our church, ending with prophetic ministry over our Legacy City Church youth. We opened the meeting with a reading (semi-preaching)of Colossians 1. Much of the main sermon was around the wonder of our lives hidden in Christ, seated with Him in heavenly places, dual-citizenship, our affect on the people around us as we release the Spirit of God whom we carry, and unlocking the heavenly perspective through increased hope and faith! Healing is central to the gospel, not peripheral. Today we talked about what it means to be an apostolic/prophetic people who are activated in releasing the supernatural power of God in and through their lives. 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 states that we have been reconciled to the Father through Christ, and our sins are no longer counted against us. We have been commissioned with the message of reconciliation, representing the Father just as Jesus did before Israel. We are a people of His Presence, set on a lifestyle of supernatural activity including miracles, signs and wonders. We are given power and authority in Christ to do the same works Jesus did, undoing the works of darkness and releasing the Kingdom of God as described in Mark 16 wherever the gospel is preached. Today we continue to build on the theme of apostolic/prophetic Christianity as we discuss the meaning behind these words and what it looks like as a believer. God's plan in Christ's redemptive work on the cross was not only to get you into Heaven by removing your sin debt, but to also bring you into a relationship with the Father, providing for you an identity as a son or daughter of God who is actually a new creation infused with the Spirit of God. In Christ we have been given the tools for an intimate relationship with God as the Spirit of God speaks ot our hearts and minds and fills us with the mind of Christ. This Memorial Day Weekend Sunday we had special guests and apostolic/prophetic mom and dad to our church Galen & Danette Gingerich from McMinnville, Oregon. Galen brought a wonderful message on the impact on our individual faith when we get the revelation that God believes in us. This is a timely message regarding honoring of individuals who are each uniquely created in the image of God with His divine destiny in His heart over each person He has designed. Today we started out with a brief word on Hope. It was a day today where there was a strong sense of the Holy Spirit wanting to impart Hope into the hearts of our people. We opened with Hebrews 6 reminding ourselves that our Hope is like an anchor that goes beyond the veil into the Most Holy Place in the heavenly realm. Key Verses: 2 Corinthians 5:5:14-21 Ephesians 1:17-18 2 Corinthians 4:7-12 Romans 5:17 May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering! Today we continued to look into the inheritance we have received in Christ, and our desire to see Jesus get the full reward of what He paid for as we walk through life and access the benefits of the cross. The Greek word Sozo is where we get the translated word "salvation" and also translated as "healing" or used when a demoniac was "delivered". Our salvation through Jesus is our "sozo": healing of our heart, spirit, soul, mind, body, strength, emotions, relationships, all rooted in the forgiveness we have received from God as it flows into our heart and released as a foundation of who we are towards all! Communion Sunday, we appropriately talked about one of the 4 pillars of revival: Jesus Blood Paid For Everything! We opened with Hebrews 10:19-22, Psalm 100:4 and Psalm 33:1. Our teaching time was centered around just a portion of what Jesus paid for us to walk in. Our new identity, His authority given to us, healing, forgiveness and freedom. Legacy City Church is a new church with the heart to build wisely with an apostolic/prophetic foundation. We reference Ephesians 2:19-22 and Ephesians 4:11-13 as the biblical pattern. We opened up the gathering with a preface of this model and what it means in simple terms, and set for the vision of our church with a powerful declaration. Unfortunately the recording was cut short due to a power outage and our own Neira Ranes who shared a wonderful message of her own experience with growing in the prophetic has only 4 minutes that managed to make it through. Today we talked about the blessing of unity in the body of Christ, how that is the place where God commands His blessing. Psalm 133, Numbers 14:24 and Colossians 3 were our key texts. In these passages we see that the heart behind believing the ability of God to keep His Word, moving in forward momentum with Him and walking together in forgiveness, compassion and grace are key to accessing the unity that God desires. This is the same unity of the Kingdom, expressed in the Triune God, that we desire to see released as we pray "on earth as it is in Heaven." Enjoy!
Today we continued to talk about what an apostolic/prophetic foundation looks like. Ephesians 2:18-22 Describes the church being built on that foundation as members of God's household - which points to the aspect of believers being family. We are to relate to one another apostolically (seeing each other from the perspective of Heaven) and prophetically (calling out the things in each other the God says or reveals that may not yet be visible. Ephesians 2:18-20 Building on an apostolic prophetic foundation. This means we learn to see life apostolic: from the blueprint of Heaven - making earth look like Heaven as we establish His Kingdom in our lives - and prophetic: hearing and seeing what the Father is saying and doing, declaring His thoughts and heart over our lives. He is the God that prophesies over His sons and daughters, calling the things that are not as though they are. We are to do the same, see ourselves and others the through His lens, calling out the destiny He is speaking over others, even when we do not yet see it!
Today we ventured further into what we believe is a new season for our church culture - speaking, hearing and seeing how God sees. In a prophetic culture it is important to not look for obvious dirt but to call out the gold that is hidden within, the treasure and destiny that God sees and wants to call out. He is the God Who calls that which is not as though it was. 2 Corinthians 5 is the key text. Enjoy!

We fight from victory, not for victory. We rejoice before we see the victory because we respond to the character and nature of God, not the circumstances before us! There is no battle between God and the devil. He has been defeated. Jesus triumphed over the enemy on the cross. Now we get to implement His victory! When we offer thanksgiving and praise we are responding to Who He is, His nature, His character, His goodness. When I worship I am the sacrifice! Matthew 6 He is calling us to a place of deeper intimacy with Him. Do we respond to our circumstances or to the heart and nature of God and His promises? Proverbs 26:4-5 We love His principles, but principles without the Presence is like the Kingdom without the King! The key is to apply the principle at the proper time. Unless He speaks we don’t know what to do. God is in this situation and the next. What is the Lord saying in this situation? It is our responsibility to discern when He is speaking.
Today we talked about the ministry every believer is called to - to be a royal priest and minister first unto the Lord. Heaven is filled with extravagant worship around the throne of God, and our joy is to mirror that reality here on earth. As we boldly approach the throne of grace which Jesus paid the price for us to access, we can offer our lives in worship and we get to experience transformation into the likeness of Christ as we behold His glory. Today we talked about the great things God has in store for 2019 and our opportunity to run into all He has for us. But the enemy also has a plan to keep us from running into our inheritance by speaking lies that we have opportunity to partner with, creating strongholds in our thinking. God's plan was not only to send Jesus to save you from your sin and get you into heaven, but also to get heaven into you! Today we did part 2 to our message on healing being central to the Gospel, not peripheral. We continued with looking at the ministry of Jesus as He demonstrated the Kingdom by doing miracles, signs and wonders. The Kingdom of God is IN the Holy Spirit according to Romans 14 which means we carry it within us and have the ability to release it, just as Jesus did. We owe the world an encounter with God since we carry Him everywhere we go and have the ability to release the "river of living water" to those around us. "Healing is central to the Gospel, not peripheral." Randy Clark Today we talked about the ministry of Jesus in preaching and demonstrating the Gospel of the Kingdom. Healing the sick, opening blind eyes, raising the dead and cleansing those with leprosy were events that demonstrated that the Kingdom of God was "at hand" and had come to them. Jesus "co-missioned" us to go in His authority and in our identity as royal sons and daughters of God and preach the same Gospel of the Kingdom, demonstrating it with signs and wonders. Today we talked about the miracle of our union with Christ beginning with the death of the old self - crucified with Christ, dead and buried - and resurrected into a new creation, fully clothed in the perfect righteousness of Christ. We covered the difference between religeous mindsets that would have us apply rules of "do's & don'ts" which try to fix up the old nature instead of considering that nature dead and yielding to the new nature we received from Christ. The Bible tells us that we have inherited the glorious riches of this mystery, "Christ in you, the hope of glory." Today we took a walk through 2 Corinthians 1-4 discussing a few key points in each chapter. We covered the nature of the One who lives within the believer, the promises of God which are ours in Christ, the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the "renovation" job of the Holy Spirit transforming us into the likeness of Jesus, and our call to fix our eyes heavenward and take on a heavenly mindset! Today we have our special guests, apostolic mother and father to Legacy City Church, Galen and Danette Gingerich of New Horizons Church in McMinneville Oregon. Galen was one of the founding leaders when New Horizons began in 1978 and has been in pastoral leadership for over 38 years. He is passionate about mentoring adults, teens, and children to help shape their lives for generations to come, leaving a legacy of transformed lives and communities. Galen and Danette are apostolic leaders in the Pacific NW Region, mentoring and equipping kingdom leaders to reach their God-given potential to represent Jesus in all arenas of life. Danette is the SOZO Coordinator, and the Events Coordinator which includes all conferences and seminars that New Horizons hosts for churches of the region. Galen and Danette have been married 36 years and have two adult children - Jenna Hogue (married to Justin), and Daniel, all who serve in the ministries at New Horizons Church. Enjoy!
Ephesians 2:17-22 was our key text today. Freely we have we received, freely we give. We cannot give away what we don't have. Every believer has received from the Lord different grace gifts, as well as cultivated fruit of the Spirit that we carry. This is what we have to release or impart to other believers. As an apostolic/prophetic based church, we grow together, building each other up with our various graces. The apostolic and prophetic foundation equips us to build from Heaven's perspective while staying in intimacy with the Lord hearing His voice for the "now" season. Enjoy!

The overall theme today was the power of our declarations to break off lies, being transformed by renewing our minds, feelings not determining the facts, Jehovah Sneaky, the glory of King Jesus & releasing the supernatural atmosphere of Heaven! Checking your hope levels will determine where we are believing lies. Romans 15:13 Tells us that He is the God of Hope, and He wants to fill us with Hope through our belief system, resulting in joy and peace! Today we discussed how we are transformed through the renewing of our minds. Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against a spiritual enemy. His power is in the lie. Our weapon is to take those lies and make them submit to the truth of Jesus!

Our inheritance as Christians is not only eternal life when this life ends, but a supernatural Holy Spirit empowered life now with a new identity. We are now sons & daughters of God and a Royal Priesthood. We have been set free from sin and condemnation and are now enabled by God to "reign" in life, walking in Jesus' victory. Finally, we have begun the conversation about what it means to have a spiritual foundation that is apostolic and prophetic. Being under the influence of an apostle makes you apostolic. Ephesians 4:11 tells us that Christ gave gifts to the Church to equip the Saints for the work of ministry. He gave Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors & Teachers to release each particular anointing so that the individual believer will become more like Jesus. “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16 An important part of our inheritance in Christ is our open and free access to the heart of the Father through the Holy Spirit. Know one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have received the Spirit of God that we may know what we have been freely given. This Sunday we explored the Ephesians 4:11 5-fold ministry gifts focusing in on the purpose of the Prophet and prophetic anointing that is for all believers. You were born (again) to know the voice of God, to be intimate with Him and hear His heart for you and others.
When there is no clear prophetic vision, people quickly wander astray. But when you follow the revelation of the word, heaven’s bliss fills your soul. Proverbs 29:18 This Sunday we discussed the importance of the prophetic in the life of the Christian and the foundation and direction of the local Church. Ephesians 2:20 & 4:11 are very clear on the significance of this gift to equip the saints for ministry as well as establishing the Church with an apostolic/prophetic foundation. In this message we share some significant prophetic words given by multiple people to the planting and establishing of Legacy City Church.
This is our yearly Global Legacy NW Leaders Conference. Leaders from Oregon & Washington shared 20 minute sessions to speak about what they are passionate about and what God is doing in their local churches. This event featured a guest speaker Michael Brodeur and his ministry team from Bethel Church, Redding CA. This is a yearly event that happens yearly in February at New Horizons Church, McMinnville OR.
Ministry time lead by Val Moya and teaching time by Scott Alcorn. The message is about Legacy: our birthright & inheritance purchased by Jesus on the cross. His death, burial and resurrection released the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit on the Church, giving us the inheritance of sons & daughters that we would live out this purpose: the the Lamb that was slain may receive the reward of His suffering.
