On the last Animal Rescue League on 1400 WHO-AM, the whole gang was back together; Carol, Mick, and Dan reminisced about all the shows before, gave advice on a sassy kitten, and had CEO of ARL Tom Colvin on to say "See you later!" Remember to be kind and paw it forward!
This week on ARL we have Animal Service Officer and Investigator Tina Updegrove filling in for Dan. We discussed Tina's 30 year career with Animal Services and she gave very helpful tips on how to keep your pets safe in any situation. Plus how you should hand seeing something concerning and you don't know how to proceed. If you ever need to call the Animal Services, you can call (515)-283-4811. If you can be anything, be kind and we hope you listen next week.
In this weeks episode, we talked about being careful and mindful of your pets' paws, are you brave enough to punch a bear to save your fur baby, (please don't touch the wildlife for fun), a rouge sea otter, chicken care 101, and had a long discussion with Bernie Lettington on the current animal bills in legislation. These cats are also called working cats who control the rodent population. The arl will "tip" the ear of a cat that was neutered or spayed as an identifier that the cat has been neutered.
