People have problems identifying what their strengths are. Or perhaps believing they have strengths.

When developing resumes there is a method used to tell the story of the candidate. It is called the CAR method: Challenge Action Result. A professional faces a work challenge, they design an action and then they produce a result. Something within them got them through this. This is where strengths come from.

You may still have troubles identifying your strengths but think about obstacles in your own life. Identify what characteristics you developed in the face of adversity.

Tell me about yourself. This is a classic question that many interviews start with. The interviewer is seeking a snapshot of your professional experience.

Two issues occur with this question. One is that the candidate gets too much information about their personal lives the interviewer does not need to know.

The second is that they do not know what to say or how to present themselves especially in terms of their career. It requires an aspect of self actualization to understand and answer this.
