In this special episode of the podcast, Matua Daniels shares with us the story of one of CBHS's greatest alumni, Riki Te Mairaki Taiaroa. A perfect report student, who featured in the original First XV and played for the New Zealand Native football team from 1888-89, then became a Rifleman in the Boer War and received the Order of the British Empire for his services to the Māori people. We have a look at where this all fits in our modern-day society.
