Well, it’s 2021 and has anything changed? We’re in lockdown, kids home-schooling and America is imploding, so the answer to that is a resounding nah.
J joins D and our guest Duchess for a nice chunk of time, is called off for a real life responsibility, then D and D proceed to inside-joke you to death. Sorry.

OG J is indisposed this evening (and due to our recent self-imposed hiatus), D decided to welcome her oldest sister onto the show to blab, reminisce, laugh at familial inside jokes and have a few drinks. Discussions range from tooth picks to disused TB sanitoriums to cheese factory mayhem.
I was a little worried that listeners would find it hard to follow along (without our 38 years of history to back up our chat) but I’m assured you can get the gist of what we’re talking about. This episode is very Vancouver/Canada heavy so if you have any questions please leave them below.

Well, we tried to nonchalantly just skip by one week without recording but got called out…sorry everyone! J’s birthday took precedence but we’re back so hold on to your hats!
Today we discuss birthdays…what we hate about them, what we love about them. We will entertain you with stories of our more memorable celebrations (both fun ones and disasters) and go into minute detail of what we expect during our festivities; take note for next year please.

Hey hey y’all! We’re back with another episode; this week we’re discussing what we expected when we hauled ass to England and what we actually came face to face with. From accents to sandwiches to rehabilitating criminals…it’s all here. Then we devolve into nightmares, Armageddon (the brilliant masterpiece that is the movie btw), and D’s debilitating natural disaster anxiety. Fun! I’d like to personally thank J for planting the seed of waking to someone whispering your name in your ear mid-sleep.

Hello hello all, welcome to our 10th episode! Today we discuss the absolute shit show that is world politics, the saying ‘step out of your comfort zone’ and how there have been some huge personal change and we discuss how we adapt to these changes and ways we have kept from having a complete and utter mental breakdown. Sound fun? Have a listen and please let us know any coping mechanism you can share with us and/or any wisdom you can provide. We also reminisce about films, Leonardo Dicaprio memes and the absolute pleasure a new Borat movie would bring to this sad, dark world.

*Quick suggestion - I find that listening to podcasts while cleaning is optimal, but, during lockdown have started walking to a local shop/store rather than driving, and find listening to podcasts makes the walk bearable. Just make sure you’re aware of your surroundings and stay alert, of course.
