The African Dream is a podcast that shares stories and journeys of Africans from different backgrounds with the hope of inspiring and motivating fellow Africans to never give up their ''African Dream''. Each episode will be an interview of a professional, academic, or entrepreneur as they share the story, and the highs and lows, of how they climbed the ladder of success to become the successful African they are today. The aim of the podcast, and the interviews, is to share information that can and will hopefully help other Africans struggling to achieve ''The African Dream''.
In part 2 of our interview with Mulesa Lumina, we discuss her professional endeavours, which have taken her from human rights law and consultancy with the Zambian government, through working with Cambridge University and now spreading her wings in digital marketing.
We vented about the difficulty of job searching in an increasingly demanding employer's market and exchange ideas about how to take all lemons we receive and turn them into profitable lemonade stand.

This week, we're joined by Mulesa Lumina, a Third Culture Kid, social media expert and fashion designer with two law degrees from South Africa. Currently based in Cape Town, Mulesa graced South African T.V. screens when she starred as a contestant on season 2 of The Bachelor South Africa. In part 1 of our interview, she told us all about how she wound up on one of the most widely known dating shows in the world, what happened in the contestants' house and how the whole experience shaped her!

Our guest today is a Doctor in the emergency room, as well as the owner of Baberia cuts barbershop and spa. She opened an innovative barbershop that also has a spa treatment especially designed for the modern man that not only want a good haircut and well trimmed beard but also has good care of their face with good skin practices.
Prepare to be inspired by this week's guest, fellow dreamers! Tendai Chitima, one of the most familiar faces in contemporary Zimbabwean media, didn't start off with big dreams of making her mark in national entertainment history, but that's what she's doing now. In this episode, we learned the story of how Tendai wound up starring in the first Zimbabwean movie to ever be featured on Netflix. She also shared with us her opinions on the current state of the Zimbabwean film industry and just what we can do to ascend to Nollywood levels.
