What can bring you to the present moment. In this episode I talk about the sufferings that some people go through (poverty, starvation, probability of being born). Wanna know my life lessons. Look no further. Listen in depth or read below:
The hard things in life are blessings in disguise. Its gonna make you stronger and wiser.
The purpose of life isn’t to get married and have kids. And that cannot be your source of happiness. The purpose of life is to give and receive love.. in all forms.
Working out and nutrition should be from a place of loving yourself and your body not a form of punishment
Your parents are human too. They have their own struggles. They aren’t always right. They need to be told that they are loved and appreciated too.
Don’t use texts to argue with someone. Talk in person or at least on the phone.
Setting boundaries with people is respectful to you and them. Its okay to say someone no.If they don’t like you afterwards, that is on them and not you.
When getting in an argument. Instead of using accusatory statements. Say how you feel. No one can argue with feelings.
Therapy is a good thing and nothing to be ashamed about. It is great to vent and trauma dump so you don’t have to put that on friends and family.
People lie & manipulate. Its okay to guard your heart and be reserved until someone earns your trust.
You don’t have to do all the things all at once. As long as you do baby steps towards it. Don’t do anything that will put you in a position to get overwhelmed and quit

If you haven't listened to her podcast, its called, But What's Next, With Michelle Reed. The link is here: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/but-whats-next-with-michelle-reed/id1507795650. Her YouTube channel is just called Michelle Reed. The link is here: https://www.youtube.com/user/ThisIsSmileyandshell. She shares a behind the scenes look of how she got to where she is and where she is headed with a faith-based perspective. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed recording it, and I hope you walk away with some helpful knowledge that you can re-create in your own life. Thanks for listening and have a great day!
Hey Everyone!
I decided to take advantage of the fact that I re-branded my podcast to the Mind & Body Show, and I figured I would include a nutrition episode this time around to embrace the body! I have a passion for nutrition/health and I would like to share a little of that with you. In this episode I talk about the four factors of food that help us determine if it's good for us. Keep in mind, there is no one size fits all and what is healthy for one person may not be for another. I hope you enjoy and learn something from this episode. Have a great day!
Hello All!
In this episode I dive into my past relationships, what went right and wrong, and the things that each relationship made me realize I was looking for in a partner. This episode is super personal, but I share it in hopes that it helps you in your life. Thank you for listening and don't forget to subscribe to be notified of future episodes. Have a great day!
Hello All!
This episode was requested and I was happy about it because I love making goals. I tend to get lots of ideas and act on a whim, so I would be lying if I said that I achieve all of my goals. BUT, when I do achieve my goals, I know why. I have discovered 4 key strategies or tips through life experiences and various books that I have read to making goals a reality, and I share them with you in this episode. If you have some goals that you want to achieve, but you are uncertain if you can make it happen, listen in on this episode! I hope you find this episode helpful! As always, have a great day!
Hello All!
In today's episode I talk about healing the body and mind through meditation inspired by my favorite book, You Are The Placebo by Dr. Joe Dispenza. That book had some mind blowing stories of people healing serious ailments including cancer, Arthritis, Parkinsons Disease, and so on all through meditation without use of an active medical treatment. I share what I am currently working on healing, how I am aiming to change my adopted belief system, and my own personal meditation practices. I hope this helps in you some way!
Hello Everyone!
If you thought my other episodes were personal, this one takes it to a whole other level. As I was making it, I had to not overthink it and upload it as quickly as possible. As much as this is not easy to share, I know this episode could help people who may be going through what I went through. I talk about my childhood struggles with an eating disorder, how I overcame a lot of my struggles, and how I continue to work on a healthier mindset around food and exercise. I hope you enjoy and learn something! :)
Hello Everyone! :)
In this book I dive into how to heal the body and mind through the 7 A's! I learned so much from reading When The Body Says No by Dr Gabor Mate that I had to share with you. If you find yourself to be stressed, anxious, irritable, short-tempered, or constantly feeling the need to distract yourself, this may be the episode for you, especially if you notice you have any physical ailments--small or large. I hope this helps you!

Hello Everyone!
Today I get personal and talk about a recent break up and 5 tips on how to cope with it. It is never easy no matter the circumstances and I thought it would be helpful to let everyone know that even a "positive person" gets sad too and that is OKAY! :)
Hello Everyone :)
In this episode I share some personal life updates and then dive into talking about how to make the new year a great year. We all have had a wild ride with 2020, and I believe that with the right mindset we don't have to repeat history in 2021 pandemic or not. Listen in to hear why. Have a great day :)
Hello Everyone!
I have been feeling extra grateful for the friends I have in my life which inspired this episode. I have gone through my fair share of bad friendships or no friendships all together. Because of my experiences, I know what I look for in a friend, what I don't want in a friend, and how to make new friends. If you find it difficult to find solid friends, listen to this episode :)
Hello! Today I dive into why I stopped being vegan after years of following a strict diet. At the end of the day, it came down to what was best for my health. Everyone is different. For some people, the Vegetarian/Vegan lifestyle works and for others it may not. I know that some do it for ethical reasons and that is respectable. While this is a controversial episode, I felt like I needed to share this. I hope this helps you in some way. If so, please share it on your social media :) Have a great day!
Hello all! If you are anything like me, your time is precious and after work, you would much rather relax then do a whole bunch of errands. However, because I learned how not to enjoy errands I was able to learn how to embrace and enjoy them as well. In this episode I share my tips and experiencing on the matter. I hope you enjoy and if you do, please share the episode on your social media. Have a great day!
Hello all! had a new realization on the the topic of happiness since my last upload on how to be happy. I wanted to share my new understanding. In this episode I dive into what happiness really is, how we can experience it more often, but more importantly I bring attention to what we really want more than happiness that we may not realize. I hope that you find this episode insightful and if you do, it would help me a lot and hopefully others as well if you share it! Have a great day! (:
Hello everyone! Todays episode is a little different from a lot of my other episodes. However, I know a lot of us deal with some sort of digestive issues, but it is one of those taboo topics that we don't tend to talk about. Well, I deal with it too, and I feel like it should be talked about! I have decided to hire a health coach to solve my issue through diet and herbal supplements, and I decided it would be helpful to document my journey in hopes that it can help someone who may be going through something similar. So, I talk about the digestive system, it's importance, the diet protocol and the experiences I have had so far, and some things I learned a long the way.
Some things I mentioned in the podcast episode:
Think you may have Sibo? Check out this website: www.siboinfo.com
Curious about the Low FODMAP diet? Check out this website: https://www.ibsdiets.org/fodmap-diet/fodmap-food-list/
Hey everyone! We all are drowning in information that it's hard to know what is true and what is not. I know I definitely struggle with it. So, in this episode I talk about critical thinking including what it is and 7 common fallacies found in claims or arguments that make the information we hear SOUND true even when it is not. I took the time to research a bit extra for this topic, so I hope this helped you like it helped me (:
Hello all! This was another requested episode. As a fellow worry wart, I felt like I could offer some helpful tips on how to stop the worry AKA the anxiety. I am not anxiety-free, as no one truly is. However, along the way, I learned some helpful tips to snap out of the funk and recenter myself to get back to being productive and happy. So, if you experience anxiety more than you would in the form of worrying about the future, the unknowns, what others think, your insecurities, failing, and so on, listen in on this episode. I think this might be helpful for you! I hope you enjoy and learn something too. If you did, don't forget to share on your social media and subscribe to get notified of the next episode I upload. Also, have a great day!! (:
Hello everybody! Today's episode is all about people pleasing. A good friend of mine suggested I record an episode on it, and it turns out I have a lot to say on the topic. In this episode I share my experiences in people pleasing, the turning points for me, and some helpful tips on how you can stop people pleasing too. As we stop people pleasing, we are freed to be our authentic selves and it is liberating! I hope you enjoy this episode. If you did, please share this with others, leave a review, and subscribe to be notified of when I post next. Have a great day (:
In this episode I talk about happiness. Specifically, I talk about Andy Frisela's happiness equation, my personal experience with happiness and unhappiness during my quarantine with Covid-19, and how happiness is an emotion that we can intentionally choose to have NOW. It is not something that we will have only when or if... but we can choose to experience it NOW (: I hope this helps or inspires you in some way. If so, don't forget to subscribe and share this podcast with others on your social media. Thank you!
Hello! Welcome to another episode on this podcast. Today, I was inspired to talk about something I am currently working on myself. This was a reminder that it is okay to not know what the future holds and to enjoy the journey of life in all the beautiful chaos, mistakes, thrills, and experiences. When you make the perspective shift from I will be happy when or if I get X, Y, Z to every day is a new day where I have the opportunity to learn, to grow, and to make mistakes it makes life much more peaceful. I hope this helps you in some way! (:
This is my first episode on this podcast for quite some time. I was struck with inspiration during my quarantine with Covid. In this episode you hear 10 tips to get fit in 2020 that I personally use my self. I hope you enjoy it and learn something too.
