The first webinar was a conversation around stigma and fear and what we need to do to be allies for one another. This conversation was followed by Q&A for people to share and discuss what they are seeing and how we can support one another during these times.
In times of crisis and with the lack of information, people get to make irrational decisions.
To move forward and cope with this pandemic, we need to stick to our principles and Rich Ties values: Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Healing, Teamwork, Innovation, Excellence and Stewardship. When it comes to appreciating diversity and cultivating inclusion at Mayo, these actions are not only found in the value of respect, but they are also embedded in each of our values.
