This song Om Namah Shivay is a bhajan from the movie Bhairavi, set in Raag Bhoopali (Mohanam in Carnatic) -sung originally by Kavitha Krishnamurthi and Roopkumar Rathod.
One of my favourite Ilayaraja songs, not that I know too many of them. I heard this song for the first time over a year ago and fell head over heels in love with the melody. Here's my cover of the song, sung in a much lower scale (F#) than the original and at a slower speed too. Hope you like it...
