Shayla is a creative and manager of global visual merchandising at Vince. She has spent nearly 20 years working with American luxury brands such as Ralph Lauren and Donna Karan; creating their retail environments. Her job has been to communicate the brand within a space, and to influence consumer buying decisions. A few years ago, she began to think more about the influence of spaces we call home- womb/body, shelter, earth, universe, and is currently researching/writing a book on how these connect energetically.

Today’s Mommy Bawse is Ashley Nicholson, an author and board certified Emergency Medicine Physician. She currently works with Vituity at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, CA – a level 2 trauma center – where she provides immediate diagnosis and recognition, and care and stabilization for adult and pediatric patients with a broad range of acute injuries and illnesses. She currently serves as a committee member on the Quality & Patient Safety and State Legislative Committees for the American College of Emergency Physicians. She is married with two beautiful girls, Amelia – 2, and Maya – 4 months.
On this episode, I'm joined by Noel Abdur-Rahim - a licensed CPA and the first black female Partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC's) Atlanta office. Noel is in the assurance practice where she focuses on auditing public companies in the industrial manufacturing industry. She has extensive client experience in SEC reporting; mergers and acquisitions; stock-based compensation; derivatives and hedging; and other complex accounting issues. Noel was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her two children, Ibrahim and Sasha.

In the last year, Cat has been busy as owner of the Union County territory of the Fun Bus, Fitness on Wheels franchise and owner of ARTXo, a creative art and event studio, opening September 2019 in New Jersey.

Amber Murayi is a mommyBAWSE with a long list of professional accomplishments and a sweet and down-to-earth spirit. She is the Vice President of Strategy & Transformation at Acosta Sales and Marketing and a former project leader at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). She holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and currently lives in Chicago with her husband, 2- year-old son Samuel, and new puppy -- a Boston Terrier named Cooper. Amber was recently named a "Top Woman in Grocery" by Progressive Grocer, recognizing some of the most influential leaders in the Industry.
