Every one who is brought into rulership must be equipped with a dimension of wisdom in order to operate on that level. In today's session, we begin to look at the wisdom required for rulership.
Every time God speaks to us, He speaks from a realm where all things are already done. However, in order for us to experience in our lives what God has done, we must accept and welcome it as a present reality not as a future expectation. This is what reckoning is - accepting as a present reality the revelation of your identity in God.
Today, we delve deeper into what it means to "reckon"
Have you tried to picture how upset and frustrated the elder brother must have felt at the welcoming of his brother in the parable of the prodigal son as told by Jesus? He must have felt cheated and disadvantaged, only to be told that all the father had was his all along.
The greatest disservice a believer can do to themselves is to remain unaware of their true identity in Christ and all that they have been licensed to experience in Him.
Today, we start a new teaching series titled Identity Reckoning. it is aimed at awakening the believer’s consciousness to our identity in Christ so that we can experience what God has already prepared for us.
"Discernment" may sound like a "deep" experience reserved for the super spiritual - but it's not. It is an experience every believer can (and should) operate in because it's powered by the Holy Spirit bearing witness within us. Today we learn how the Spirit bears witness with our spirit.
Not every “good” thing is from God. Adam and Eve were instructed not to eat of a particular tree in the garden, even though it was the tree of the knowledge of "good" and evil. So there’s a “good” that isn’t from God. That's why not every breakthrough, open door, job, or relationship is from God. However, everything God does is GOOD. You need discernment to be able to differentiate what is from God versus what is “good”. Looking beyond the surface to testing the spirit that sponsors the experience. In this session, we begin to uncover how to discern things by their spiritual nature and not just the accuracy of facts.

In this September's episode of our monthly prayer, we spend time praying for a discerning heart to distinguish right and wrong, light to expose any form of deception in our lives and sanctification of our desires so we won't fall prey to deception.

When the enemy tells a lie, he presents it in such a way that it resembles the truth. Someone once said "the devil only tells lies when it's almost the truth". The Bible instructs us to "Test all things" because there are several spirits counterfeiting as the spirit of God. In today's session we begin to see three practical ways we can discern things.

More than ever before, believers need to grow in their discernment. The Bible instructs us to "Test all things and hold on to what is good" 1 Thessalonians 5:21. Testing all things requires discernment. It is through discernment we are able to differentiate the Spirit of God and His operations versus the spirit of the enemy and his operations.
In today's session we lay the foundation of what discernment is and why it is important for every believer to be discerning.
Paul closes out on the first epistle to the Thessalonians by giving some instructions to guide the Christian experience. In verse 16 of 1 Thessalonians, he said "Rejoice Always". This singular instruction has so much transformative power that we can't ignore.
Join us as we dive into the impact of rejoicing always - especially at a time when there are more reasons to worry than to rejoice.
There's no telling how much God can do in and through a man of prayer. Our Bible studies in this month of August have been filled with teachings on how to grow spiritually, as well as become "God's man".
Prayer is one sure way through which God works out His purposes in and through our lives. Today being the last Tuesday of the month, we spend spend time praying and trusting God to work out His purposes in our lives and make us men and women He can count on to fulfil His will on the earth.
When God appeared to Abraham in Gen 17, He introduced Himself as the ALMIGHTY (El-Shaddai). This elaborate introduction was intended to introduce Abraham into an economy in God where all things are possible. However, for Abraham to partake of this economy he had to subscribe to the covenant of circumcision.
This is still valid today, however, circumcision for us is not physical. According to Phil 3:3, circumcision is the state of the heart where you put no confidence in the flesh - your earthly credentials. When you get to the end of yourself, that is the beginning of God.
Have you ever heard the phrase “Come as you are”? I find it so interesting that something as precious as salvation is available to any and everybody, regardless of who you are or where you’ve been.
However, that is only the beginning of the journey. The goal is for the man who has come as they were to mature into the stature of the fullness of Christ, to become God’s Man.
“Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:” Ephesians 4:13
The man that will do great things for God must wholeheartedly go through the dealings of God to become the very man God desires him to be.
Several years ago, I was timid and shy. So timid that I found it difficult to defend myself if wrongly accused. In fact, instead of speaking up, I’ll just start crying. My parents knew this was not good and if unaddressed, I might eventually grow up timid. So, they had a brilliant idea to send me to military school. This wasn’t the easiest decision for me and my parents, but in retrospect it turned out to be a very helpful one. The environment was wasn’t like my cozy home. It was full of regiments, discipline and trainings. Though it was uncomfortable, it made me grow.
This experience is similar to what happens when God allows us go through situations that stretch us. He wants us to “let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” James 1:4 NKJV
Today, we continue this conversation on Spiritual Growth, taking a look at Joseph and drawing lessons from his story.
In Heb 5:14, the Bible lets us understand the those who are spiritually mature are those who through practice have exercise their senses to discern both good and evil. Discernment means the ability to see things the way God sees them. For us to grow in our discernment, we must go through exercise. An exercise is typically an uncomfortable experience that ultimately makes us better. This is what God allows us to go through in order to develop us.
In today's study we God's pattern for growth and maturity in the believer's life.
There's so much that God has prepared for His children, so much that the ordinary human mind cannot fathom. The Bible tells us that "..eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him but God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 1 Cor 2:9-10.
However, it is of very little profit to only be aware of what is available to us without actually experiencing them in our lives. Last week we started a topic on spiritual growth, and how important it is for us to grow up spiritually in order to enjoy the things our Father has prepared for us.
Prayer is definitely one of the key ingredients to facilitate our spiritual growth. As our custom is, we seek the face of God and pray together as a community on the last Tuesday of every month.
Today, we spend time praying and consecrating ourselves to God as we prepare for higher levels of spiritual growth.
The Bible lets us know that God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. In fact, God has also already given us all things we need for life and godliness. So why does it seem like believers' lives don't reflect the promise of God. One major reason is spiritual growth. Without spiritual growth, we lack the skill and stamina to handle the Word of God till in works in our lives. Whenever there is gap between our identity as revealed in scriptures and our character, it is an indication of the need to grow.
This new series begins the conversation on Spiritual Growth. What it is, indication of growth, how we can grow etc.
In the wedding at Cana of Galilee where Jesus performed His first miracle, Mary His mother gave us insight into the secret of the supernatural: "whatever He tells you to do, do it". It is only as we do what He tells us to do that we see His power flow as evidence of His commitment to us. Our obedience to God's instruction is the bridge between His power and our needs. It is the conductor through with the power of God flows.
In today's session, we dive deeper into how we can partner with God for the supernatural through Obedience
The first time words were used in scriptures was for creation. God said "Let there be... and there was". In the same manner, we can create possibilities with our words - taking the word of God on our lips and making prophetic declarations. When we do this we partner with God for His will to manifest in our lives.
Even though God desire is to experience His best and work on the supernatural, yet it seems His operations in our lives are limited to the extent our minds permit him.
You will always produce what your mind embraces, even if it is contrary to your nature. Your mind is like a thermostat, it regulates the “temperature” of your life.
Every time God desires to express His will on earth, He does it through a person. So God works for us through us. That's why He said to the Israelites "You are My battle-ax and weapons of war: For with you I will break the nation in pieces; With you I will destroy kingdoms;” Jeremiah 51:20 NKJV.
God wants us to experience the supernatural, but it would happen with us in partnership. So today, we begin to see 4 ways we can partner with God for the supernatural in our lives.
In today’s Bible Study, we are start a new series titled The Laws of Victory: how to live a supernatural life by partnering with God. The aim of this study is to bring God’s people (you and I) into the experience of daily supernatural living, through practical Bible proven steps.
Many times people get weary on their journey in destiny, and they want to faint or give up. Like Elijah under the juniper tree, people resolve to give up at such moments in their lives. However, God has already made a provision for the supply of strength in seasons of weariness. This supply is called Grace.
In today's prayer session, we receive grace for the journey ahead. We substitute our weakness for God's strength at the throne of Grace.
In several of his letters, the Apostle Paul ended by commending believers to the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. In fact, in what has become a common benediction among believers around the world, he says "May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all" (2 Cor 13:14).

Why are our prayers ineffective sometimes? Could there be actions and/or disposition of our hearts that hinder our prayers? Why is it that some people seem to get results in prayers while others don't? This study aims to provide practical answers to these lingering questions.
In the past month we learnt the right way to pray and communicate with God through Jesus Christ. Today, we would be looking at some of the " Hinderances to Effective Prayers" Learning about things that make our prayers ineffective and how to deal with them.
We have been on an insightful journey all through this month as we uncovered “How to pray” - a study born out of Jesus’ response to the disciples request “Teach us how to pray”. In our last study, we explored practical steps on how to enforce the will of God in your life.
Today, we take out time in prayer to enforce God’s will in our lives. Choose one area of your life (family, business, marriage) that you know hasn't aligned with what God has said concerning you, and focus on that while praying. As you pray, God will begin to enlighten your eyes and give you revelation on what to do.
While instructing His disciples, Jesus taught them to pray "Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven". So, one of the purposes of pray is the enforce the will of God to be done on earth - in your family, health, business, career etc - as it is in heaven. But how do you go about this? How do you bridge the gap between your present experiences and what is already settled about you in heaven? That's what we addressed in today's session. Last week we began our study on “How to pray” and we established that the foundation of prayer is a relationship with the one you are praying to. Today, we had the opportunity to express that relationship together in prayer.
As our custom for the last Tuesday of each month is, we spent time together in corporate prayers - building intimacy and reaching out to the heart of the Father.
One day after Jesus finished praying, a disciple came to him with a request. The disciple said “teach us how to pray”, and in response to this Jesus begins to unravel insights into the valuable spiritual exercise called prayer. Join us as we explore Jesus’s answer to this request. It’s a new series on "How to Pray”!
In this concluding session of the series "7 Signs of a healthy spirit", we take a look at 'Humility'. To better understand humility we have to understand what pride is. We define pride as trust or confidence in an action, person or system apart from God. And Jesus showed us the perfect example of humility as revealed by these three actions captured in Philippians 2:7:
- He emptied Himself of external glory
- Took the form of a servant
- Became a human.
David in the Psalms presents us with revelation he discovered from his work with God, and it is the fact that an over and beyond sacrifices, God values a heart submitted to him. This along side a heart free of strife are two more signs of a healthy spirit we considered in today's episode.
In today’s prayer session, we start off by thanking God for the month of February - thanking God for His love, mercy and kindness in our lives. We also prayed that our spirit be illuminated so we can discern the plans and ordination go God for this season.

Medically there are signs and symptoms that depict health or sickness. In the same way, there are obvious signs that reveal the state of our spiritual health. In the study we begin our journey to investigating those signs. But first of all, why is it even important we consider these signs? We cover the 'why' in this session. Jump in!
On this last day of the prayer rain series, we spend time praying for the rain of favour and understanding as we navigate through the year. But first, we looked into scripture to gain insights into the mystery of the rain from heaven.
I am excited about the great things God has planned for us this year. In fact, the Bible refers to them as what 'eyes have not seen nor ears heard'. Today, we continue our conversation on Wisdom for Human Relationships. We look at what controls people's disposition towards us; Favour. What does favour mean and what does it answer to? Dive in and find out
Human relationships are important to God. The way we relate with and treat others clearly reflects out convictions and love for God. In this study we begin to explore how God wants us to relate with people.
Financial prudence is the measure of our faithfulness in financial dealings. Jesus said "...if you are faithful in that which is least, you will be faithful in that which is much". In today's study we examine 3 relationships with money: Earning, Keeping and Multiplying money.
As our custom is, today being the last Tuesday this month we spend time in prayers, first to thank God and also offer prayers of supplication - praying for the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, direction and wisdom for finances.
As financial stewards, we don’t claim ownership to what is within our possession. The principle of stewardship states that everything you have has been received from God and should be treated as a gift from God. Even if you worked for it, it should be treated as a gift from God because indeed it is.
With this principle in mind, giving becomes possible since we don't own it. In this study we see the importance of giving and how to employ God's wisdom in this area. God prospers the hands through which He can reach others.
There are several languages in the world, and even more are being discovered as you read this. However, there is one unique language we all seem to understand - Money. I mean, who doesn't like it?
Money is so powerful that it is among the few things the Bible identifies we can serve other than God. It is because of this that we want to study on God's wisdom for our finances as part of our Wisdom series. Today we start of by laying the foundation of Contentment, as we build on God's wisdom for Finances.
Today, we start a new Bible Study series on Wisdom. We call it the Wisdom Series: Heavenly wisdom for earthly living. In the next few weeks, we aim to explore the wisdom of God in various areas of our lives. We would focus on practical actionable steps for daily living.
In today's study we'll look at how our Hope in Christ - that eager expectation of His coming and the glory to be revealed - affects and influences our lives here on earth. All the many doctrinal things, we touch on last week are distilled into practical implications today
Have you ever been so hungry and craved a particular food? If you're like me that loves spaghetti and soft fried plantain (don't look at me like that ), then this is likely to be a common craving when hungry. Many times, after eating what I craved so much, I begin to wonder what was special about the meal that made me crave it. I ask myself "is there more to this food than what I just ate"?
You see, unlike the food we eat to satisfy our cravings, there is more to the salvation we have received. There is more to our hope in Christ than what we experience here on earth - as wonderful as it is.
At Bible study today we explore how our Hope in Christ transcends this world, and the implication of this truth in our lives today.
In the past few weeks, we have learned about times and seasons - the importance and how to recognise seasons. Today, we spend time in prayer birthing the manifestation of all that has for us in this season. We also be pray against any form of delay for the things has released to us.
“You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favour her, Yes, the set time, has come.” Psalms 102:13 NKJV
As we wrap this series, we take a general overview of key things to note about times and seasons;
- The beauty of everything is in its season
- Ever season comes with its attendant grace and possibilities.
- Seasons don’t last forever
- People who cling to the manifestations of God in a season would miss out of what God has in the next season.
- If you hold on to a method in the previous season, you'll make a idol out of it.
In today's study we continue our conversation on Times and Seasons. Very practically we see how we can recognise the current seasons of our lives.
In school, we learnt that our goals have to be SMART - Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time-bound. This is a very helpful approach especially when handling projects and managing people. However, when it comes to life as a whole, there’s one factor that isn’t much within our control - Time (and the seasons that come with it). God actually does own time, and so he sets the seasons that present themselves in time. Understanding this has saved me from anxiety over the calendar of my life.
In today's Bible study, we set out to understand “Times and Seasons”. This study would help you see that even though God never changes, his dealings with us would change from season to season. This study would also help you identify your current phase in life and prepare you for the next.
After studying on Peace in the past few weeks, today we get to pray it into our lives and experiences.
When the Bible says "Guard your heart with all diligence...", one thing I constantly want to guard is my peace!
Identifying those triggers that steal our peace is the first step, but how to deal with them is one major thing that needs to be studied and put to practice in our daily living.
The Bible says the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy. Once your peace is stolen it’s easier for the devil to attack and infiltrate your thoughts.
The "peace“ subject is one that we constantly need to study and learn practical ways to maintain. In today's Bible study we explore various way the enemy tries to steal our joy, and how we can avoid them.
Last week, we started a very practical study on How to experience and maintain the Peace of God. Several people shared how they respond to fear, anxiety and worry. Some of the responses include prayers, fellowshipping with other believers, taking time and effort off the particular matter, and more. From our Bible study outline, we highlighted four helpful ways to experience the peace of God. However, we could only look at two of those: Prayer, and Fixing your gaze on Jesus.
Today, we are continuing this all important study as we conclude with the remaining two ways: Rebuking the Wind, and Releasing Control.
Daily we hear about disturbing events globally, and we even go through tough seasons ourselves. However, in the midst of all these God has given us His Peace.
Today we learn practical steps to experience & maintain the Peace of God in our lives.
Have you ever experienced anxiety, worry or unease and couldnt really tell why? There's so much in the world already fighting your peace, but God has a promise & a plan for us. This new study gives us an understanding of the Peace of God and how we can experience it ALWAYS.
Having learned in the previous weeks what causes our light to shine, we spent time praying into our experience these things: Consecration, Conviction and Character.

Some these include; "I have to wait until the Spirit 'moves' me", "Speaking in tongues is not for every believer.", "You won’t go to heaven if you don’t speak in tongues." etc
We also spent time praying in the spirit and exercising our spirits.
We continue our study on Speaking in tongues with a close look at 1 Cor 14. What was Apostle Paul's direction on the application of speaking in tongues in the public? How does speaking in tongues for personal edification differ from delivering a divine message in tongues? Find out these and more in this session.
In this new refresher series, we begin a step-by-step study on Speaking in Tongues. The aim is to understand the Bible's position on this important topic and be established in the truth.
In this last episode of our "Armour of God" series, we look at the only offensive weapon Paul lists in our Armour; "The Sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God". How is the Word of God a sword? In this session of our monthly prayer meeting our prayer focus was on times and seasons.
The Bible refers to the believer as a soldier (or warrior) and as such, there is a befitting armour for to wear for the battle field. In this series, we study a portion of Paul's letter to the Ephesian church addressing spiritual warfare and how we are to be dressed appropriately for the battle front. Join us as we begin an exciting journey in study.
In the first Bible study of the year, we explored heaven's emphasis for the current season: taking roots downwards and bearing fruits upward. We also explored the 3 reasons why believers are unfruitful.
In this Bible study we looked at the Believer's altar; what it means and the application in our lives.
When Elijah was going to call fire from heaven, the first thing he did was to repair the altar. This is significant to believers because, for us to see the manifestation of God's power consistent in our lives, we must first rebuild our altars. In today's prayer meeting, we spent time 'repairing' our altars so we can accommodate more of God's fire in our lives.

It’s been an amazing few weeks learning about the Holy Spirit and His work in our lives. Earlier in scriptures God had spoken through the prophet Ezekiel about a time when His Spirit would dwell within us. And then at another time, God spoke through Joel the prophet of a time when His Spirit would be poured upon us. While it is the same Holy Spirt, these two prophecies refer to two separate operations in the life of a believer.

One of the descriptions of God is "a consuming fire". It is no wonder that when we come into God, He ignites us with that same fire so we burn for Him. Today's Bible study was dedicated to prayer, and God rekindled His fire upon our hearts.
After having the revelation that we are dead to sin, the next step is to "reckon" ourselves to be so. That means to accept as our present continuous reality that we are indeed what God says we are - dead to sin. It is after this that we can easily yield ourselves to God.
