Roland GR-20 – Music & Techniques by Chris Vaisvil: Recent Episodes

This is an ABA’ form composition tuned in 17 edo using my 12 edo guitar with GK-3 divided pickup and Roland GR-20 as the controller. The piece opens with a Theorbo (Soniccouture) and then a B section of synthesis (Brazille, ACE ) and percussion, closing with an A’ harp section using the Pianoteq concert harp.
Bohlen’s Pierced Waltz performed using a 12 equal guitar through a Roland GR-20 which was “on the fly” retuned by Fractal Tune Smithy to the 13 note Bohlen-Pierce tuning. http://micro.soonlabel.com/bohlen-pierce/daily20100516-BP13cmp_waltz.mp3
