Pastor Jeremie shares about the supernatural power of prayer at the XIT Cowboy Church on November 2, 2021. He discusses the four steps of releasing the prayer of faith. May we remember that prayer is: a.) to the Father, b.) by the Spirit, c.) in the name of Jesus. Jesus said, "Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name. Ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full" (John 16:24).May we receive the spirit of prayer, and learn to pray until something happens. May God bless your prayer life, and make your life a prayer. (Originally uploaded on November 3, 2021)
In Mark 11:12-26 we read that Jesus was hungry and he came up to a fig tree to get something to eat. When he discovered the fig tree had no fruit, Jesus cursed it and immediately the fruitless fig tree withered at the roots! One key takeaway from this passage of Scripture is this: when Jesus returns, and we stand before him on Judgment Day, we don't want to be fruitless. In this message we examine three types of fruit Jesus is looking for in our lives: 1.) The Fruit of Repentance (Matthew 3:7-10), 2.) The Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:16-26), and 3.) The Fruit of Faith (Luke 18:1-8). As Leonard Ravenhill says, "This life is a dressing room for eternity - that's all it is!" May we abide in Jesus and allow his Word to abide in us, so that we - his disciples - may bear much, lasting fruit and thereby glorify our Father in heaven (John 15:1-8)! "Oh Lord, teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom" (Psalm 90:12), and invest our lives in bearing lasting fruit for Christ! (Originally uploaded on November 1, 2021)
When you're praying, do you ever feel like you're giving birth to something from God, bringing something from heaven to earth? In this message, Pastor Jeremie shares three qualities of the birthing prayer: 1.) Piercingly Focused, 2.) Powerfully Forceful, and 3.) Purely Faith-filled. May this message encourage you to persevere in prayer and give birth to the things of God in and through your life - from heaven to earth! (Originally uploaded on October 25, 2021)

On September 21, 2021, Pastor Jeremie was the guest speaker at the XIT Cowboy Church in Dalhart, TX. In this message, he shares how Jesus preaches His powerful, paradigm-shifting Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7), and then He proceeds to come down the mountain to invoke the power of God in three specific, life-transforming instances: the leper, the Centurion, and Peter's mother-in-law. In other words, Jesus showed us that living in the kingdom of God is not just about "hearing" powerful messages, but becoming powerful messengers by "living out" supernaturally what we've heard. We don't have to just be "hearers" of the Word of God. We can be Holy Spirit-empowered "doers" of the Word of God! (Originally uploaded on September 22, 2021)
In Luke 18 Jesus tells us a parable about persistent prayer, Pastor Jeremie helps us dive deeper into the meaning of how we can pray persistently and not lose heart for our prayers, and how to prioritize our prayers and have power in our prayer lives. (Originally uploaded on September 19, 2021)
In this message Caroline Odom and Pastor Jeremie teach us lessons that the Lord has put on their hearts. Caroline brings us a vision that she received from the Lord, about how we need to "build ourselves up in our most holy faith, by praying in the Holy Spirit." (Jude 1:20)
Pastor Jeremie teaches us about prayers of intercession and prayers of petition, and how our prayers can be more effective as we wait for God, and before God. (Originally uploaded on September 12, 2021)
In this sermon Pastor Jeremie helps us understand how we can flourish before the fulfillment of our promises from God. Pastor also gives us key applications on how we can thrive and be content in the season of waiting for our promises to be fulfilled from our Father. (Originally uploaded on September 5, 2021)
The Bible says all the promises of God in Him are yes, & in Him amen, to the glory of God through us (2 Cor. 1:20). God makes promises, but then we often face a pickle. In other words, shortly after God makes a promise to us, we often enter into a fiery trial or a wilderness phase on the path to fulfillment of the promise. God made a covenant promise to Noah & sealed it with a rainbow, but later God makes a covenant promise to Abraham & seals it with a razor - for circumcision! We love the rainbows, but not so much the razors. We get a promise from God, and we wonder "why the wilderness, God?" & "why the circumcision, God?" Deuteronomy 8:2 sheds some light on this: "You shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you & test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.” The razor God gave Abraham was literal, & it was meant for him to circumcise his flesh. The razor God gives us today is spiritual, it represents His Word, & it is intended to circumcise our hearts of all that is unChristlike. Deuteronomy 30:6 (AMP) says, "“The Lord your God will circumcise your heart & the hearts of your descendants [that is, He will remove the desire to sin from your heart], so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart & all your soul, so that you may live [as a recipient of His blessing].”As devoted followers of Jesus, we need to understand that God's great & precious promises are meant to make us more like Jesus (2 Pet. 1:4). Therefore, every promise comes with pruning, & every blessing comes with a blade. But don't lose heart. Don't faint in the fiery trials or in the hot wilderness. God is with you. And the only reason He wants to circumcise our hearts, is not to hurt us, but to make us more like Jesus. When the razor of God's Word comes to circumcise your heart, submit to it - just keep your mind on the rainbows in the process between the promise & the possession! The Lord laid two words on Pastor Jeremie's heart the week prior to him sharing this message: Self-awareness & Prodigal. Self-awareness means having a deep understanding of one's emotions, strengths, limitations, values & motives, as discussed further in a great Harvard Business Review book entitled "Primal Leadership: Unleashing the Power of Emotional Intelligence" by Goleman, Boyatzis, & McKee (2013). Prodigal simply means reckless & wasteful. In Luke 15, Jesus is surrounded by an audience of tax-collectors & sinners, Pharisees & scribes. He seizes this opportunity to tell 3 parables: 1 lost sheep out of 100, 1 lost coin out of 10, and 1 lost son out of 2. In the end of each parable, what was lost was found. The last parable, the one about the prodigal son, is a favorite of many, and reveals how a deep lack of self-awareness can damage our perspective of the Kingdom of God, and can hinder our relationship with our Heavenly Father. Homing in on the father's reception of the prodigal son, Pastor Jeremie teaches four steppingstones towards self-awareness in Christ: ROBES, RINGS, REEBOKS & ROAST. In Luke 2:41-52, Mary and Joseph lost Jesus! When they came back to Jerusalem and found Him 3 days later, He was in the Temple "sitting with the teachers, listening and asking them questions." When His parents expressed their anxiety and concern, Jesus said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I 'MUST' be about My Father’s business?” (emphasis added). In this message, Pastor Jeremie extracts three applications that we can all add into our lives, by which we may also catch "the must spirit" like Jesus did. What "must" you do with your life? What does "being about the Father's business" look like in your life? We pray the Lord blesses you and speaks to you through this message. (Originally uploaded on July 29, 2021)
These four words not found in the Bible represent key concepts foundational to the Christian faith: (1.) Trinity, (2.) Rapture, (3.) Missionary, and (4.) Revival. 2 Corinthians 3:6 says, "Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life." Along those lines, someone once said, "All of the Bible is in God, but all of God is not in the Bible." In other words, if we choose to live by the "letter of the law", we will likely miss what the Lord is saying. (Originally uploaded on July 19, 2021)
Many of us have experienced the challenge of an empty gas tank, an empty bank account, or an empty stomach. Can emptiness ever be a good thing? How can emptiness be something God could use? In this message we talk about how the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ demonstrates how God the Father can use the "upsilon factor" to bring glory and honor to himself. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus’ will and flesh were pressed and tested, while his disciples fell asleep. In this Garden of pressing trial of flesh and will, Jesus surrendered his own personal will to obediently and fully embrace the Father's will. Is there anything of flesh and will that we need to empty ourselves of, that God may receive more glory and honor in and through our lives? Just like Jesus, our lives - our will, our desires, our flesh - anything that diminishes our love for God - these are the seeds that must go into the ground and die, that the fruits of revival and reformation may come forth? When we empty ourselves, God can fill us, and keep filling us to overflow his power and presence into our families and communities, bringing about the kind of spiritual transformation we read about in the Book of Acts. How do we get empty? Go to the Garden and lay it all down. As Jacob Aranza once said, "Jesus isn't all you need, until Jesus is all you have." We pray this message blesses you. Jesus is patient with people. This is exhibited throughout the Gospels in his dealings with the disciples - especially Peter. As apprentices of Jesus, we encounter his rhythm of affirmation & confrontation, affection & demand (Reese & Loane, Deep Mentoring 2012, Loc. 2093-2111). This message begins by looking at Jesus' patient way with people, and it ends with three ways we can imitate the patient way of Jesus today. (Originally uploaded on June 13, 2021)

Todd Powers teaches us that "the only way we will ever change the world is if we aim to introduce people to the only ONE WHO can truly transform people’s hearts— JESUS!" Amen! Romans 2:29 (NLT) says, "A true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not a cutting of the body, but a change of heart produced by God’s Spirit.” Let's meditate on and take heed to what Proverbs 4:23 says, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." We trust this message will challenge, encourage, and equip you to go "next level" in guarding your heart for God so you may focus on and fulfill his missional purposes for your life. It is a powerful thing to be lovingly & particularly noticed by another person, let alone by Jesus. And in our culture today we all hunger to be seen in this manner. So many people carry a deep sense of unnoticedness from an early age (Reese and Loane 2012, Loc. 2018). Jesus teaches us how to notice others in a way that ministers and reveals the love of God to them in a transformational way. When we read through the Gospels, if we pay special attention, we will see how Jesus moves in community to develop others. In this special Mother's Day message, we look at Jesus' particularizing way with people, specifically in the life of Zacchaeus. We also look at five habits that can help us embody Jesus' particularizing way with people. (Originally uploaded on May 10, 2021)
Revelation 3:20 tells us of a door, we will call it Door #1, which represents the door of our hearts. This door is closed, and only we can open it from the inside. Jesus stands at the door of our hearts and knocks. He wants to enter into our world and give us abundant life, but we have to open the door and let him in by making him Lord of our lives. Three verses later, in Revelation 4:1, we read about Door #2, which represents an entryway into God's world and what's on his heart, which is full of worship, mission, prophecy, victory, and eternity! God summons us to enter Door #2 and step into his world and let our hearts become focused on what's on his heart: the redemption and reconciliation of the world. We need both doors, but we mustn't become so absorbed with Door #1 that we neglect Door #2. We let Jesus into Door #1 so that we may thereby enter into Door #2. We pray the Lord speaks to you about this message: "A Tale of Two Doors." (Originally uploaded on April 25, 2021)

In Matthew 9:37-38, Jesus told his disciples, "The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So, pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields." There has always been a God-dream of more kingdom workers. What does it mean to be missional? What does spiritual transformation with a missional trajectory looks like? In other words, what does it mean to be possessed by the Triune God of mission? Scott Sunquist said, "The world needs people who are gentle, humble, empty & attentive. That’s about as missional as you can get." So, again, what does it look like to be spiritually transformed with a missional trajectory? As we talk about that, check out how Dallas Willard paraphrased the Great Commission, “All authority in heaven & earth has been given to me, therefore as you go through life, make apprentices to me of all peoples (ones who will do what I did because they are like me), immersing them in the Trinitarian presence, & guiding them to obey all the things I have taught you, & surely I will be with you all day of every day” (Matthew 28:18-20). May this message speak to your heart & lead you into a deeper hunger for God and a fresh passion to engage in the mission of God. (Originally uploaded on April 11, 2021)
In 62 A.D., Paul wrote, "That I may know Him & the power of His resurrection, & the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death" (Philippians 3:10). On this special Easter message, let's talk about how this applies to our lives today in 2021. (Originally uploaded on April 4, 2021)
Jesus is the "Missionary" Son of God. Jesus said, "As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you." This means that every born-again Christian is a "sent one", or a missionary. What can we glean from what took place the night before Palm Sunday (John 12:1-8)? How is Palm Sunday still as transformational today as it was 2,000 years ago? Why did Mary anoint Jesus' feet with spikenard oil? Did Mary know something about Jesus & his mission that the others didn't understand yet? Why is it significant that Palm Sunday occurred during Christ's last earthly Passover? Like the disciples learned later, revelation comes when Jesus is glorified. Maybe Mary anointed Jesus for his death, because she glorified him & listened to him & knew. Sacrificial worship that glorifies Jesus helps prepare us for our role in the mission of God. (Originally uploaded on March 28, 2021)
In Matthew 28:19, Jesus said, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, & of the Son, & of the Holy Ghost." We are invited to participate in Christ's ongoing mission of redemption & reconciliation to the world. It's not enough to have the mission of God in our heart - we must become possessed by the God of mission. Missiologist David Bosch said, “The entire Christian existence is missionary. The church is missionary by its very nature. There is no dichotomy between foreign and national missions.” What does this mean for us? It means that you & I & every other follower of Jesus are missionaries - or sent ones - for Christ everywhere we go. Come, Holy Spirit. Empower us anew & set us ablaze for God and for the mission of God! (Originally uploaded on March 21, 2021)
A love that moves us, will keep us moving. Agape love fuels passionate mission. Jesus said in John 20:21, "As the Father has sent Me, I also send you!" As followers of Jesus, we are sent by God in the power of the Holy Spirit to share his love with the world. We continue Christ's ongoing mission of reconciliation and reconciliation everywhere we go. God’s love goes, because God’s love is sent. Love grows, love glows, and love goes! (Originally uploaded on March 14, 2021)

In this message we look at how “Love Glows.” What does that even mean? Well, here’s a question: shouldn’t God’s agape love in our hearts make us shine bright, like a light glowing in the darkness, drawing the lost to Christ, like a moth to a flame? The Bible says “YES!” Let’s talk about that! #love #glows (Originally uploaded on February 28, 2021)

Jesus is the truth. The devil is the father of lies, and there is no truth in him. When we hide God's Word in our hearts, we are able to quickly distinguish between truth from God, and lies from the devil. When we discern that a lie from the devil is attacking our mind, we must counter those lies by declaring God's truth out loud with our mouth. When we meditate on what God is saying, we immediately extinguish the devil's lies. God says if we resist the devil, he will flee from us. God's Word is the Sword of the Spirit, and it is our sure and mighty weapon that pulls down the strongholds and vain imaginations of the enemy. Whenever a lie from the devil comes at you, just declare the opposite from God's Word, and you will stay in the victory we have in Christ Jesus. (Originally uploaded on February 9, 2021)

Much of this comes from the book "Ministry in the Image of God: The Trinitarian Shape of Christian Service" by Stephen Seamands. The four characteristics are: 1.) full equality, 2.) glad submission, 3.) mutual deference, & 4.) joyful intimacy. Dr. J. Robert Clinton of Fuller Theological Seminary said, "Effective people live with a sense of destiny.” What is a sense of destiny? Are you born with it? Or rather, is it something we discover & grow into over a lifetime of diligently pursuing God? People who live with a sense of destiny are more effective because: 1.) they know they were created for a unique purpose, 2.) they are consumed with a vision, and 3.) they are committed to doing God's will. There is no doubt that God has a powerful destiny for you.We pray that as you listen to this message, the Lord infuses your heart and mind with a fresh sense of destiny over your life, and makes you more effective inside-out for His Kingdom. The London Underground has a phrase, "Mind the Gap", to warn people to be mindful of any vertical and horizontal spatial gaps as they step on and off of the trains. Similarly, the Lord would have us be mindful of any vertical and horizontal gaps in our lives that could devastate us in the end if they are not remedied. The vertical gaps have to do with any breaches in our walk with God, and the horizontal gaps have to do with any breaches with our fellow man. The Lord has remedies for them all, found in II Chronicles 7:14. Mind the gap, and receive the blessing of the Lord. What begins with humility, ends with healing. We pray this message challenges you to draw nearer to God and remedy any gaps in your life between God and your fellow man.

What do you do first when a serious problem hits? As a child of God, is prayer with fasting a last resort, or is it your first line of defense? Problems in our lives did not indicate we are unusual, unspiritual, or forsaken by God. Problems happen to the righteous & the unrighteous. However, people within whom Christ dwells by faith are empowered to face their problems & overcome them victoriously. In Ezra 8:21-23 we see three things happen: 1.) Ezra faces a problem, 2.) Ezra humbles himself & proclaims a fast among all the people, & 3.) God responds favorably to Ezra & answers his prayer. Ezra prayed & fasted for God's leadership & protection over his life, his little ones, & his legacy. Ezra effectively closed the gap between fear & faith, between trouble & triumph, between problems & prosperity. We can have what Ezra had, by doing what Ezra did. It's called the Ezra Fast, & in this message we talk about a 6-step prescription to implement the Ezra Fast successfully in your life when you're facing a serious problem. Several of these points come from a great book I highly recommend called Fasting for Spiritual Breakthrough by Elmer Towns, Chapter 3, pages 47-70. God doesn't want us to merely stand in the gap - He wants us to close the gap! (Originally uploaded on July 26, 2020)
7 practical ways to stand in the gap in prayer: #1. ACCEPT: Answer God's call to prayer (Ezekiel 22:30). #2. ASPECT: Visualize a broken wall (2 Kings 6:17). #3. ASCERTAIN: Why is the wall broken (1 Cor. 14:15, Rom. 8:26)? #4. AUTHORITY: Pray with authority (Hebrews 4:16, Mark 11:22-23). #5. ADAMANT: Be persistent, unyielding (Luke 18:1). #6. AGREE: Pray with others (Matthew 18:19). #7. APPRECIATE: Thank the Lord (Ephesians 5:20). (Originally uploaded on July 19, 2020)
"Stand in the gap." This is a military phrase. It means step up & fill a breach in the front lines of defense, to keep the enemy from breaking in to all that you hold dear. In spiritual terms, this refers to PRAYER & INTERCESSION. In Ezekiel 22:30, the Lord says, "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and STAND IN THE GAP before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one." Let's convert our pruning shears into spears. Let's turn our plows into swords. Let's shift our cruise ships into battleships. Let's pray & intercede like the existence of our nation depends on it. Because it very well does. (Originally uploaded on July 12, 2020)

In today's message Pastor Jeremie brings us a teaching from Kenneth E. Hagin on 7 Steps to Answered Prayer. Pastor Jeremie tells us about steps we can take to help us in our prayer life by focusing on being decisive in our prayers, and searching the Bible for what God says about your need.
In Luke 18 Jesus tells us a parable about persistent prayer, Pastor Jeremie helps us dive deeper into the meaning of how we can pray persistently and not lose heart for our prayers, and how to prioritize our prayers and have power in our prayer lives.
In this sermon Pastor Jeremie helps us understand how we can flourish before the fulfillment of our promises from God. Pastor also gives us key applications on how we can thrive and be content in the season of waiting for our promises to be fulfilled from our Father.
In this message Pastor Jeremie lets us know about our inheritance that our heavenly Father has blessed us with in Jesus Christ, and also reveals some key ways and applications to help us Know, Receive, and Enjoy our full inheritance in Christ.
In John 14:6 Jesus explains how He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Ozzy Smith joins us and helps shed some light on this saying of Jesus Christ.
In John 15:1-5, Jesus tells His disciples, "Abide in the vine." In this message, Jeremie unpacks what "abiding in the vine" means, along with three practical ways we can practice abiding in the vine (Jesus) and continue bearing fruit amid the chaos of life.
Pastor Jeremie shares this special 4th of July message about the freedom we have in Christ Jesus, based on Galatians 5:1, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage." What has Jesus liberated us from? What has Jesus liberated us to? We pray the Lord blesses you through this message.
Dyke brings a great message for every father in this special Sunday service. We pray it blesses you.
In this message, we examine how Jesus demonstrated hospitality with people through his practice of table fellowship and in his practice of friendship. May the Holy Spirit impart to you through this teaching a deeper revelation of Jesus' way with people, that you may go and do likewise with people you encounter.
We pray the Lord speaks to you about this message: "A Tale of Two Doors."
We were so honored to have Doug and Lisa Stringer bring us this special word from the Lord! Doug is founder and president of Turning Point Ministries International, which birthed an international movement known as Somebody Cares. His years of ministry have taken him to numerous communities and nations; from urban to foreign missions; from garbage dumps to the palaces and halls of government leaders. From one-on-one ministry to crusades of thousands, Doug is a revivalist at heart. He burns with an evangelistic passion to see people reached with the Gospel. To the Church, he presents a prophetic challenge of consecration, commitment, and action. Doug lives in the Houston area with his wife Lisa and their daughter Ashley.
In 62 A.D., Paul wrote, "That I may know Him & the power of His resurrection, & the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death" (Philippians 3:10). On this special Easter message, let's talk about how this applies to our lives today in 2021.
Mandy brings us a powerful, heartfelt word about three "p's" to help us live more fulfilling lives: "preparation, peace, and perseverance." We believe this anointed message will speak straight to your heart and lead you deeper into the abundant life we have in Christ Jesus alone.
#love #glows @ People's
Have you ever experienced God’s love in a transforming way? Do you want deeper, ongoing encounters with God’s love for you? Are you tired & frustrated with living a miserable & “unloving” Christian life? In this 3-part series, we talk about the God-kind of love that “grows, glows, & goes.”
In this third & final message in this series, we look at the four relational qualities of the Father, Son, & the Holy Spirit, & how we apply them for healthier family relationships. Much of this comes from the book "Ministry in the Image of God: The Trinitarian Shape of Christian Service" by Stephen Seamands. The four characteristics are: 1.) full equality, 2.) glad submission, 3.) mutual deference, & 4.) joyful intimacy. As we discuss these four relational traits of God, my prayer is that we come away transformed in our relationship with the Triune God, our families & each other.
In part two of this series, we continue looking at four relational qualities of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as shared by Stephen Seamands in his book Ministry in the Image of God: The Trinitarian Shape of Christian Service. The four characteristics are: 1.) full equality, 2.) glad submission, 3.) mutual deference, and 4.) joyful intimacy. As we discuss these four relational traits of God, my prayer is that we come away notably transformed in our relationship with the Triune God and with each other.

What an honor and a blessing to have special guest Jon Hamby bring us a fresh Word from the Lord!
In this message, we talk about discovering our true identity in Christ Jesus. When you know Whose you are, you’ll know who you are. As a child of God, there’s no need to have an identity crisis. You belong to God. And that is why you can possess an unshakeable identity in a shakeable world. Even in the face of struggle and suffering, when you know who you are, your faith will remain unshaken in God's goodness despite what your natural eyes see. We pray this message encourages and strengthens you.
Dr.
Who was Queen Esther? What did she do? How does her 2,500 year-old epic miracle offer us hope amid the chaos of 2020? In this message, we pray that you discover: 1.) Why your life is important, 2.) How you can alter history, & 3.) That you’ve been summoned by God to greater things for such a time as this. When you know where you are, and you know why you are where you are, you'll more likely do what you're supposed to do. We pray the Lord speaks to you through this timely message.
