The Chicago Bears traded Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a 6th round pick, signaling the Bears will take Caleb Williams with the #1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Justin Fields was set up for failure in Chicago but will find stability in Pittsburgh.Jerry Jones said the Dallas Cowboys would be "all in" this offseason leading up to the 2024-25 season but were inactive during free agency, while letting a few of their key players walk.
Doc Rivers was named the Head Coach of the East All-Stars after coaching only three games with the Milwaukee Bucks, Lions Offensive Coordinator Ben Johnson declined the Washington Commanders head coaching job to return to Detroit, and why it's insane to say Sam Darnold should compete with Brock Purdy for QB1 next season if Brock struggles in the Super Bowl.
The 48-32 loss to the Green Bay Packers is the most embarrassing loss for the Dallas Cowboys ever. Why is Jerry Jones choosing to retain Mike McCarthy when Bill Belichick, Mike Vrabel, and Jim Harbaugh are available? Extending Dak Prescott for $60+ million a year would be a franchise-crippling mistake.

The officiating at the end of Cowboys-Lions on MNF reached an all-time low, and I don't feel bad about it one bit. The Denver Broncos benched Russell Wilson to protect from injury and make it easier to cut him (presumably) in March. My brother Ethan shares some other notable NFL headlines.
Pittsburgh sports fan Alec Bell joins the show to talk Mike Tomlin's future with the Steelers, the Patriots potentially parting with Bill Belichick, what the Chicago Bears should do with the #1 overall pick, other draft scenarios, and several additional topics around the league.
The Los Angeles Chargers were embarrassed on TNF by the Las Vegas Raiders, 63-21. The Chargers fired their Head Coach Brandon Staley and GM Tom Telesco. Who would be the top replacement candidates, and how attractive is the job given the talent level of the roster?

The inflation of the NBA trade market has made determining a value for Kevin Durant nearly impossible. Episode 163! Had trouble getting this episode up before the start of the NBA Finals, but here is a preview of the matchup between the Warriors and Celtics. Steph Curry does NOT need a Finals MVP to validate his career. Former Dallas Cowboys fan-favorite running back Marion Barber died at the age of 38.

Episode 161! Finally a first round mock draft for the 2022 NFL Draft. I go in-depth with the top 10 picks and discuss other notable predictions. I don't believe there will be many trades in the first round, especially not in the first 10 selections. This draft lacks star quarterbacks but is very deep at wide receiver and offensive line. Defensive ends and defensive back talent is very strong in the top 15. Thanks for listening!
Episode 160! Back after a three-week hiatus. I acknowledge the tragic death of Pittsburgh Steelers QB Dwayne Haskins. Derek Carr gets a 3-year, $121.5 million extension with the Las Vegas Raiders. The Washington Football Team has finally chosen a team name, the Washington Commanders. And I make my pick for Super Bowl 56 between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams. Episode 152! Super Bowl 56 is set with the Los Angeles Rams playing host to the Cincinnati Bengals. Tom Brady officially announces his retirement from the NFL after 22 seasons, winning 7 Super Bowls and 3 MVPs. What's next for the Buccaneers at quarterback. The future success of the quarterback talent in the AFC I think may closely resemble the success of the previous era of AFC quarterbacks. Enjoy, and thanks for listening!
Episode 151! Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals have put together an improbable but incredible season. What will the San Francisco 49ers do with Jimmy Garoppolo after this season? Where will Aaron Rodgers play next after yet another playoff disappointment for the Packers? Thanks for listening!
Episode 150! Disappointment hits once again as the Dallas Cowboys fall to the San Francisco 49ers, 23-17. I discuss the inexplicable QB draw with 14 seconds remaining that ended the game. There are several coaching changes I want to see and contracts I want restructured. Conclusion: the Dallas Cowboys are the most overrated team in the NFL.
Episode 149! Special guest Tucker Rogers joins the show! Tucker is an amateur MMA fighter competing in the bantamweight weight class with a 3-0 career record. He is ranked 43rd out of 348 active US Midwest Amateur Bantamweights and 10th out of 46 active Ohio Amateur Bantamweights. Also, Tucker has a ju-jitsu record of 7-0-2 in 2021 and is a 1x IBJJ Gold Medalist.

Episode 148! Summing up the Cleveland Browns' disappointing season. What should they do with Baker Mayfield? Should they fire Kevin Stefanski? The Chicago Bears are relying too heavily on the greatness of the '85 Bears to drive their football team and need to reboot. Also, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without WR Chris Godwin for the rest of the season with a torn ACL, which drastically impacts their chances at repeating as Super Bowl Champions.
Episode 147! Urban Meyer is out in Jacksonville after reports of abusing players and lack of trust. Who else could be fired across the NFL after this season? The Lakers are reportedly having internal discussions about trading Russell Westbrook after a short-lived tenure. LA made a mistake trading for Westbrook in the first place. Episode 146: I'M BACK. I officially graduated from Muskingum University on December 10. Now, I will pour my heart and soul into this podcast. On Thursday Night Football last week, Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger played one of his best games ever against the Minnesota Vikings. Something is wrong with Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott. And Dallas LB Micah Parsons might do something this season that has only been done by Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor.
Episode 145! At long last, I have returned for a near midseason check-in for the NFL season. The Cleveland Browns need to figure out what they want to do with Baker Mayfield, pay him or move off. The Ford Food Chain: Top 10 NFL teams after week 7 of the NFL season.
Episode 144! Record predictions for the entire NFC, including the NFC Playoff Picture for seeds 1 through 7. Also, I make an adjustment to my AFC Playoff Picture following the injury news with the Baltimore Ravens. And Primetime Predictions for week 1 in the NFL. Football is back, baby! Episode 143! Closing out the AFC with AFC West record predictions for the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Denver Broncos, and Las Vegas Raiders. CORRECTION: I misspoke during my Broncos record prediction. I have them at 8-9, not 7-10. I have them beating the Chiefs in one of their two matchups. I will also lay out the AFC Playoff Picture according to my record predictions.

Episode 142! NFL record predictions continue with the AFC South and AFC East! The AFC South features the Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Houston Texans. The AFC East houses the New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, and New York Jets.
Episode 141: AFC North record predictions for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, and the Baltimore Ravens following the preseason and cut day. The New England Patriots cut Cam Newton in a shocker, allowing rookie Mac Jones to be the starting quarterback week 1. Where might Cam's next destination be?
Episode 140! After about a month, WFS returns on day two of the first round of the Western & Southern Open. My mom, Natalie Ford, joins the show as we drive up to Mason, Ohio. This episode covers our thoughts on the players we were expecting watch that day, predictions for the tournament, predictions for the U.S. Open, etc. Natalie shared her view on Roger Federer being out for the rest of the season to undergo another knee surgery.

Episode 131: My thoughts on LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the Los Angeles Lakers as they trail 3-2 to the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. The Los Angeles Clippers with Kawhi Leonard as their centerpiece are not built for a championships. And Danny Ainge did not fail the Boston Celtics during the post-Kevin Garnett and post-Paul Pierce era. Their expectations are just really high.

Episode 118: Philip Rivers retires after 17 seasons in the NFL. I think he is one of the three most underrated/underappreciated QBs of my lifetime and should be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Dwayne Haskins will be a transition between Ben Roethlisberger and the next franchise QB for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Miami Dolphins is the best situation for Deshaun Watson, but the New York Jets need him more. Two out of the six head coaching hires in the NFL will be big hitters. And Matt Stafford and the Detroit Lions are parting ways, which means he needs a new home. Thanks for listening!

Episode 112: The NFL returns with the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Houston Texans. I believe Giannis Antetokounmpo should have played on his hurt ankle in an elimination game vs. the Miami Heat. And ESPN's Stephen A. Smith made comments about the Brooklyn Nets' hiring of Steve Nash as their head coach that I don't agree with.
Episode 111: The Milwaukee Bucks boycotted game 5 of their first round playoff series against the Orlando Magic, up 3-1. Soon after, the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Houston Rockets followed suit. The boycott is in response to the police shooting of Jacob Blake, an African-American man from Wisconsin. The MLB is also boycotting games. Our country is not in a great place right now, and I'm not sure if anything good will come out of 2020. Thanks for listening.
Episode 110: The Seattle Seahawks traded way to much for Pro Bowl safety Jamal Adams. I don't agree with some of the quarterbacks included in the NFL Top 100. And Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Joe Kelly's 8-game suspension for an altercation with Carolos Correa of the Houston Astros is absolutely RIDICULOUS.
Episode 109: Society needs to stop making decisions for other based on what they feel is right or what they feel is racist. I fear white society is trying to improve its relationships with African American and Native American communities by removing things they feel carry negative or racist imagery. I believe the notion of "All Lives Matter" is redundant and misses the point. I DO NOT know what it is like to live as a black man or black woman in America.
